Here’s 5 sure fire ways to receive and instant blessing from God according to the bible

1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

(Psalm 122:6) “Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper.”

The bible tells us that when we pray for the peace of Jerusalem we shall prosper!

Not only that, verses 7 -9 tells us exactly how to pray for the peace of Jerusalem

(Psalm 122:7-9) “O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “May you have peace.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem.”

2. Read the book of the Revelation

(Revelation 1:3) “God blesses the one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and He blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the time is near.”

The book of revelation is the only book in the bible where God tells us that we will be blessed if we read it AND he also blesses us if we obey the message within it.  If you’ve not read it before, today would be a good day to start!

3Forgive Someone and ask for Forgiveness

(Matthew 5:23-24) “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

The answer to your prayers may be held up because you have some unforgiveness in your heart.  As soon as you take care of that, God will receive you and your blessings will be released.

4. Tithe

(Malachi 3:8-12) “Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts; “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the Lord of hosts.”

There are some that say that tithing is old testament and in new testament.  Well, find the scripture in the new testament where Jesus said we should not tithe any longer.  There is no such scripture.  What He did say is that we must give from a cheerful heart.

There is a high possibility the reason you are not seeing an increase or financial blessing and everything you touch fails is the fact that you don’t tithe.  Start today!

5.  Confess your sins to God

(Psalm 32:1-2 NIV) “Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.”

All you need to do is confess your sins to receive and instant blessing from God.  It clears the “elephant out of the room” and your blessings will start to flow. Here’s a list of sins that you can confess.

Bonus Tip!

This is a bonus because it is only directed at men.

(1 Peter 3:7) “Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

How are you treating your wife?  Honor your wife so that God will not only hear but also answer all your prayers!
