Prophetic Word for 5782 and 2022 -Part 3- Your Weapons have not Changed

This is the third installment of the prophetic word for the year 5782 and 2022.  If you missed the other two, here is Part 1 of the prophetic word and Part 2

With everything that is going on in our world today, I want you to know that the enemy is always going to move from one form of the “fear variant” to another.  It’s not going to stop.  He’s figured out that he can control people, even some in the church with fear.  So every new thing is really just the same old thing… another variant of fear.

You will at some point feel like you need to have something more, something new to combat this new fear variant.  What I want you to know is there is no booster shot required!  LOL

I had a conversation with the Lord about our spiritual weapons.   I asked Him for this new church and in this new decade if He was giving us new weapons to defeat darkness.

He said “Your weapons have not changed”.  There’s nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9).  These are just tricks and gimmicks by the enemy to make you feel that that weapons you currently have won’t work.  Well, the Lord says they will and you need to use the same one and watch the enemy flee.  I asked the Lord for an outline of the weapons and this is what I have in this post.

If you are a seasoned Christian, you’ve been saved for awhile and you read the Word, then none of this will be new for you. However, it might help for you to be reminded.  And to also have this all on one page that you can use as a reference.

1  Repentance.  It is so easy for us to look at others and point our fingers and blame.  But the truth is, and I promise you this, most of your warfare will cease if we would only repent.  You have to accept responsibility for your own sins in order to see God act on your behalf.  Most of the time even our own breakthrough will come just from repentance.  This is good too if you are not sure if it’s the Lord judgement or an attack of the enemy. (2 Samuel 24:10-25) List of sins for repentance.

2  The Blood of Jesus.  First and foremost, you cannot fight a spiritual battle without having the Spirit of God within you to fight. So, you have to be saved.  There’s no point in you reading further if you haven’t received Christ as your Savior because none of what will be shared here will work for you.  These tools and weapons are for those who already know the Lord so it is important for you to establish your relationship with Him in order to see this work for you.  Applying the blood of Jesus for protection.

3  The Armor of God.  You can’t fight a spiritual battle without armor.  (Ephesians 6:10-18).  Here’s how you put on the Armor of God.

4  Meditating on the Word of God and Renewing Your Mind.  Sometimes we can put ourselves in situations and be in battles emotionally because we have not meditated on the scripture and allowed it to renew our minds.  We start believing the lies of the enemy and his mind games because we’re not reading the word.  Most mental and emotional torment can be fixed by just meditating on the word of God.  If you are having an identity Crisis, it is because you are not reading the bible and meditating on the word. If you are struggling in your faith it is because you are not reading the word enough (Romans 10:17).  Here’s how to meditate on scripture.

5  Speaking the Word of God.  This is a part of the Armor of God but I need to highlight to you how important it is to speak the word of God.  The sword of the Spirit.  You can stop the enemy in his tracks just by speaking the word of God.  Read your bible and start a collection of scriptures that speak to areas where you know you are weak or currently being attacked.  Get into the habit of speaking the word aloud everyday and watch the enemy stay at bay.

(Hebrews 4:12) “For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.“

6  Worship.  Praising God even when you don’t feel like it will break demonic atmosphere. (1 Samuel 18:10-12, Acts 16:24-26)

7  Angels.  When you are fighting a battle and the enemies armies are against you, you need to call on angels for assistance. Nope, not the ones from Africa or South America unless of course you live there. They are busy and will only respond to people who actually live in their territory.  The best book I’ve read about working with angels is by Tim Sheet  – Angel Armies. It is a very advanced book so it is more geared for people who already have some knowledge about angels and just need to know how to work with them.  For those of you who are new to the angelic, we have this 4 part series here

8 Psalm 91. This is probably the best scripture you can use for protection.  Here is a post on how you can pray this over yourself.

9  Anointing oil. You may need this from time to time to anoint yourself and your house when you feel you need it.  Here’s how to do it.

10  Praying in tongues.  This completely confuses the enemy.  He has no idea what you are saying so he can’t even decipher it to know what to attack.  Sometimes you could be speaking to your angels in tongues and the commands are given for them to protect, break cycles of delay or battle on your behalf.  Also, I need to mention that praying in tongues also gives wisdom and strategies.  Here’s how you can start doing this.

11  Fasting.  Some things only leave by prayer and fasting so you do need to fast if you have things that refuse to go.  This requires discipline but breakthrough will surely come if you fast. How to do a Daniel Fast.

So there you have it!  I know this is nothing new for some of you but I’m sure you’ve been in situations before and you are trying to think quickly what you missed or what you can do to bring about change.  This list will help you.
