Prophetic Word for February 2022

This prophetic word for February 2022 is titled Unusual Fruit.

Who is this word for?  Honestly, I don’t even know how to describe it.  It is for two specific groups of people and once you read it you will know if it is you or not.  You can’t miss it.  I can tell you this much. I went from crying like a baby to laughing by the time I got to the end of what the Lord was saying.

This is based on an encounter I had with the Lord, but I want to start off with a personal story that I believe will help you understand this better.

At one point in my life I lived in the Bahamas, and I would go out to the beach quite often.  The water was so clear that you could walk out very far and see the bottom.  I would be in knee deep water and there would be fish swimming around.  Not every type of fish but mostly parrot fish.  The first time I saw them I was amazed that there were so many and decided that the next time I went I would bring a net to scoop some up because truly there were that many and you didn’t need a fishing rod because they swam right up to us.  The locals don’t eat them so they were just everywhere. The person I was with was shocked that I eat parrot fish because the color is turquoise on the outside.  They thought it was too pretty to each and looked more like an aquarium type of fish than one you would eat.  I told them that the color was just on the outside but once you cooked it, it was just like normal fish.

Actually when you cut it open the inside looks like a regular fish.  And, once it is cooked the color is no longer turquoise.  It actually turns into the color of “normal fish”.  If you don’t know this fish, the texture is meaty like a grouper but actually taste best when fried.

Back in 2020, I went to my local farmers market and they were selling these pineapples.  This caught my attention because the pineapple was pink inside.  My first thought was “what kind of GMO lab manufactured pineapple is this?”  Of course, I refused to buy it.

I’m not about to eat lab created food.  Truthfully, I don’t even know it the pineapple is GMO, I just know that this is not a normal looking pineapple, and I wasn’t willing to try it.  Have you had the pink pineapple before?

So, what is similar and what is different about these 2 stories.  They are similar in that these are both unusual things.  They different because one I was familiar with because I grew up eating it and knew nothing was wrong with it. While the other is new to me, and I have no one to tell me that it is OK to eat it.

You’ll soon understand why I am telling you this.  On to my encounter and the prophetic message.

I was with the Lord and we were walking and there were fruit trees all around.  Everything was ripe and ready for harvest.  Every tree was laden with fruit and the variety of fruit was endless.  Then I noticed something, a tree with apples except the apples were blue.  In my mind I am thinking, what kind of apple is that?  It’s such an unusual fruit.  The Lord perceiving my thought walks up the apple tree, picks one off and cuts it in half and then cuts it in quarter He takes a bite out of His quarter and then He hands me the other quarter to eat.  Since He ate it, I knew it was OK so I bit into it.  That apple was sooooo delicious.  It tasted like a normal apple except it had an aroma that was out of this world.  The taste also had notes to it that was not in a normal apple.  Other unique flavors but it was absolutely delicious. In my mind I was thinking to myself, this has a bigger nutritional profile than the normal apple. It was just so special!

Then He pulls out the seeds out of the apple hands them to me and says “Save the seed” <<<this right here!

I said OK, and was wondering why?  For what purpose? What exactly does that mean?  So I am now walking with these apple seeds in my hand.

We continued walking and I saw other “normal” looking fruit trees but scatter throughout were these other unusual fruit trees.  We didn’t taste any more of them but I knew from the apple that they probably had amazing flavor and it was just the outside that looked unusual.   It’s just the external there’s nothing wrong with it.

As we continue walking I heard a train coming.  It was a cargo train and it was there to collect the fruit.  Then I saw the fruit being harvest by these men (angels) and put into boxes/crates and loaded onto this train.  My eyes were focused on the blue apples since that was the one that I tasted, and I wondered where that was headed.  Once the entire train was filled with crates with all these different fruits it took off and went to deliver/negotiate for the price of the fruit with different stores/customers/wholesalers.

You’ll have to imagine that Jesus and I were still standing in the same spot, then I had an open vision while in the encounter so that I was able to see the journey of this train what was going to happen with the fruit.

The train would pull in to one stop and then there was negotiations going on with the individual wholesalers and the workers on the train (angels that looked like men) over the price of the fruit.  I would hear them negotiating on the price of the bananas and then they would agree to take them, then the angels would point out the crate with the blue apples and the wholesaler would say “Nope, I’ll pass”. Each time, the workers, would show the blue apples they would get rejected by the wholesaler.  They would say things like “Blue apples?  What in the world is that?” and they wouldn’t take it.   They would choose the regular gala apples, and normal grapes but the unusual fruit would get left behind.  Rejection, because it didn’t look like the others.  Keep in mind that all of the fruit came from heaven.  I saw this train go through all the seasons – spring, summer, fall and winter moving from place to place and everywhere it went the stores would choose another fruit, take one look at those blue apples and say “Nope”.

I should also say that it appeared that that train was moving through different countries.  I could tell this because of how the people were dressed that they were from a different nationality and different races as well.  So this is an international train but regardless of the location the response was the same, no one wanted the blue apples.

At this point I as crying because I could feel the rejection was thinking to myself that those apples were good, but no one is giving them a chance.  They wouldn’t even try it.  Then as the train goes through the seasons, I’m thinking to myself they won’t make it to the end because think about it, if you bought a bag of apples in January are they still going to be good in December?  No, right?  I was sure they would be rotten by the time it got to the end on that cargo train because there is no way they will be good after all this time past.

It was the same thing at each stop, these store owners would board the train, look at the fruit in the crates and choose something else because no one was willing to buy those blue apples.  I’m sure they were making this decision because they may have a hard time convincing anyone to buy them.

Anyway, this goes on until there was absolutely nothing left on this cargo train but those blue apples because at each stop crates were being off loaded but those apples were left behind.

Then the train pulls into another spot, I felt like this was the final stop.  The people there looked different from everyone else that I saw.  Imagine that everything that I am looking at is in brilliant colors but when it got to this last stop these people looked “dim”, dull, like you touch up a photo in sepia but with a hint of color. They didn’t have the vibrancy in color like the other people from the other regions or season and their body language was also different from the other people.

They walked up to the train, and they weren’t saying anything but I am just going to describe the body language.  It said, is there anything left for us?  Because truthfully, the train was empty apart from the crate with the blue apples.  They slowly walked over to the crate, slumped over with hunched shoulders.  They looked at the blue apples and you could see it was like they were saying “great, as per usual, we get the rejects, the things that nobody else wants” One guy picks up one of the apples and turns around and shows it to others that were standing outside the train.  From the expression on their faces you could see one person was like “nope, not eating that”, while another was like “that’s great! They just want to poison us now”, to another that was like “you know what, it’s ok we’ll take it”.  The feeling was they had nothing else to eat.  It was either blue apples or die.  They had no other choice.  So they pulled that crate of blue apples off the train.  They were not happy about this decision but they had no other choice.

I have to tell you at this point I was in disbelief that those apples were still good.  They should be rotten by now but they looked exactly the same – perfect!  But remember I said that they had this special taste to them that was not in other apples and I guess somehow they could last through all these seasons and still be good.  They were truly special – they had a better nutritional profile and they can last longer than other apples too!

Then the scene changes and I see the apples arrived into the homes of the same dull/dim looking people and one dad decides to bite into it.  The minute he bites into it his color changed from dull to bright.  His entire countenance changed.  Everyone saw that he was different, he looked better so they all grabbed an apple and started eating it.  They were jumping for joy. It was like the nutrition in the apple revived them.  They started having a celebration.  I party broke out!!! And, they just bust out laughing because they realize that the only reason they were blessed enough to have this treasure was because it looked so unusual and nobody else wanted it.

I could tell that they felt like “finally, we get to have the best!!”  And they were laughing, as was I, because they knew that every season they could finally look forward to those blue apples because absolutely no one else knew the value of it.  Their season had changed.  They were no longer getting the rejects, they were getting the best.  I could tell they had no intentions of letting this little “secret” out because they wanted no one the wiser that they were actually getting the best.  Then Jesus and I stood there and laughed and laughed and laughed because I realized the whole thing was a setup.  I stood there and saw, year after year those people would wait for their blue apples, and they would have a party when they arrived!

Then the Lord turned and looked at me and said “Tell them I have not forgotten them, there is something very special coming”.

Wow!  I tell you what, I went from crying like a baby to laughing at the end on this one.

Interpretation:

First thing you need to know is that the bible often refers to people as trees:

Psalm 1:1-3 AMP

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers).
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.
And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in its season;
Its leaf does not wither;
And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity].”

So the first message from this encounter is that there is fruit on the lives of many people.  It is harvest season.  All of the fruit is coming from heaven. The kind you’ve seen before and the unusual fruit too.

There are two groups of people that this word is for:

The first group are the people who are constantly being rejected.  Nobody seems to want what you have to offer.  They don’t want to publish your book because they think no one is going to buy it.  They don’t like you because you’re a model and you don’t have “the look” to be high fashion.  They don’t want your invention because it’s just “unusual” or as the world like to say weird.  Whatever you produce is just “unusual” and people can’t appreciate it.  You may have even thought of giving up, throwing in the towel on that dream because you can’t find anyone that wants what you have to offer.  The truth is the same thing happens in society every day.

If you think about the music industry, it goes in cycles and season and from one year to the next the sound of what is popular can change.  The truth is once the door is open, and one person walks through it that is different and accepted somehow to tide changes and every “unusual fruit” that looks like that will be accepted.

In the music business so many people couldn’t get a record deal until one gets it, it starts selling and it opens the door for others that are similar – Jill Scott, India Arie, Lauren Hill, Angie Stone, Erykah Badu.  The season came and everybody was good with the new sound but prior to that time, no one wanted it.

Don’t give up.  The tide is turning in your favor.  The fact that these apples went through all the seasons says that you’ve been at this a loooong time!  But for some reason God has caused you to weather these storms and rejections super well.  And, if you’ve thought maybe I should just scrap this whole thing and give up on this.  Remember this….

Save the Seed

Do not destroy that prototype.  The original concept.  It is valuable even if no one sees the value right now.

That CEO can change, and the new person may think your idea is excellent.  Save the seed.

I believe there are people who have spiritual gifts and abilities that absolutely no one has seen or knows about right now.  They are not telling anybody about it because they haven’t seen anyone else with that gift and they don’t want to face the rejection or people calling them weird so, they just don’t say anything.

Acts 19:11-12 AMP

¹¹ God was doing extraordinary and unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, ¹² so that even handkerchiefs or face-towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought to the sick, and their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out [of them].

Back then, the idea of taking a handkerchief from someone who prayed over it and transporting it miles away to have someone to heal them was an “unusual miracle”.  Today, ministers are doing this same thing, and this isn’t seen as unusual because we’ve read about it.

But what about that new unusual spiritual gift that you’ve never seen before?  These people would probably get rejected by most church for revealing what they can do.  If this is you, I’m saying to you save the seed because you were given that gift for such a time as this.  God didn’t give that to you for no reason.  You just have not come across the right group to share it with.

Unusual spiritual gifts and anointing that we have not seen before.

The second group of people are the ones that are always overlooked.  Sometimes they wonder if they are invisible because nobody sees them, nobody remembers them.  You go to a party and no one even remembers that you were there.  You feel like you’ve been forgotten. Maybe you get picked last, if ever.  Someone else is always getting the job, not them.  They get what’s left, the second hand, the scraps, the stuff that has been picked over and nobody else wants it.  You may have even developed insecurities because of this. You are continually settling for less because you honestly believe that is all you will get out of life.

I have a message for you….

Your season has changed!  GOD has not forgotten you, He has something special coming for you.

You know what is amazing about this, those people receiving the blue apples didn’t have to do one thing different to receive the blue apples.   God just brought it when the time was right.  They also appreciated it because they had waited so long that they knew the value of it once they bit into it.  The warning for you is, God is going to send something your way but be careful when it comes that you don’t reject it because it doesn’t look like what others have.  The packaging is different.

1 Samuel 16:7 AMP

⁷ But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Before you turn down that job because it is out of your field, ask God!  Before you say no to that person, consult the Lord.  This group of people didn’t want those apples either but because their back was in a corner, and they had no other options, they had to take it.  They would also never discover the value until they took a bite.  Sometimes, you have to give people a chance.  PRAY.  Ask God about it.  Then, you need to give that unusual thing a chance.  Because your blessing might just show up in a brown paper bag instead of a beautiful shiny package with a bow on it.

Final thought.

As I was standing there with the Lord here is what I knew for certain.  None of this was by accident.  The unusual was made unusual ON PURPOSE.  The blue apples were created that way, it’s not going to change. He created it that way!  Because the only way the second group would get anything was the first group needed to be rejected by everyone.

He created them for each other.  You were created for them.  They were created for you. You were created for him.  He was created for you. You were created for her. She was created for you.

Neither group needed to change anything.  Save the seed.  You have not been forgotten something special is coming your way.  It was just a timing issue.  The season wasn’t right yet.  God hadn’t called Kairos Time on that thing yet.  But, the season has changed.

Definition of Kairos – a time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a crucial action: the opportune and decisive moment.

God had to conceal it in a different looking package so that they could find each other.  Otherwise, it wouldn’t happen.  The whole thing was done on purpose by God.  It was a setup. He orchestrated it that way so that these two groups of people would meet each other.

There’s no rejection going on that isn’t a part of the plan!
