Prophetic Word for 5780 – Prophetic Word for 2020 – Part 1

prophetic word 5780

This is the Prophetic Word for 5780 and for the year 2020 on the Gregorian Calendar.  It will be a 2 part word. I was very excited to write this and pray that I can really convey these truths to you so that you can appreciate it as much as I did when I was receiving this from the Lord. There is alot in this word so you may need to read, digest, meditate and come back and do the same again for different sections.  This is not a one time read.

Prophetic Word for 5780/2020

What you are about to read is for the next decade, 2020 – 2030 or 5780 – 5790. This post I am just talking about the Hebrew letter Pey and a section based on John 10:27.  It was important to write a post just on this alone because I don’t want it to get lost in the other things that I will share for 2020.

The last decade was 5770 – 5779 and is known as the AYIN decade.  AYIN means eyes, sight and so God was revealing many things to us through our vision.  Dreams, visions, things you see and I’m sure you have read or heard so much about the seer anointing, especially in the prophetic circles.

This decade from 5780 – 5789 is the Pey decade.  The numerical value of Pey is 80. Pey means mouth, word, voice, expression through the mouth, speech, breath. It can also be spelled Peh or Pei and pronounced “pay”

So we’ve moved from seeing to speaking.  Because we don’t want to be speaking out of order on the things we have not seen or don’t understand.  You need to see and understand before you open your mouth.

From the pictograph you can see that it looks like a mouth pointing left. In the image to the right, with the colors inverted, the black section within the mouth is actually another letter in the Hebrew alphabet. Within the Pey and that letter is a Bet . We’ll talk about Bet shortly.

When Pey is written in script the tail goes down which look like the mouth is now opened. So what does this mean?  Over the next decade you will need to really learn when to open your mouth and when you need to keep your mouth closed.

pey hebraic letter

You know there are some people you won’t even be able to reason with them, so you need to be able to discern when it is best to just say nothing.

Now let’s go back to the letter Bet which is in the Pey or in the mouth.  The word Bet means house, home, tabernacle.  As a prefix it means “in”, “at” or “with”

The bible starts with the letter Bet.  So when you read Genesis 1:1 in Hebrew and it says “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”.   The word “in” is the Bet.

בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ.

In Hebrew you read right to left and you’ll see the Bet.  We know that God spoke the world into creation so it is safe to say that the Bet did actually have that invisible Pey around it. The mouth around the Bet.

The numerical value of the Bet is 2 because it represents the 2 Torah the Oral Torah (Mishnah) and the Written Torah (Talmud).  Remember in the very beginning the word of God was spoken, it was only oral.  It wasn’t until the 10 commandments, when Moses went up Mount Sinai, was the word actually written for the first time.

So the spoken word of God is very powerful and just as necessary as the written word of God.  It forms and creates things and sets things in motion.

When we put on the Armor of God, Ephesians 6, we have the Belt of Truth which is the written word of God and the Sword of the Spirit which is the spoken Word of God.  So we have our protection in both what is written and what is spoken.

Going back to the beginning, John 1:1-5

John 1:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV) “ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

John 1:14 NLT “ So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.”

In the beginning the Word, which is Jesus, was with God and then he came to make his home (Bet) with us.

This is the decade where the spoken word as well as the written word is critical. We need to discern when we speak and when we remain silent. We need to understand that what we say must come from a place of revelation (sight, Ayin) and entering 2020 we are going to have perfect vision so that what we speak will be with clarity of vision.

Proverbs 10:19 (NASB) “19 When there are many words, transgression is unavoidable, But he who restrains his lips is wise.

Proverbs 17:9 (NIV) “9 Whoever would foster love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.”

Proverbs 31:26  (NIV) “26 She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”

Proverbs 18:20-21  (NKJV) “20 A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Proverbs 17:27-28  (NKJV) “27 He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit. 28 Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.”

Proverbs 12:18-19  (NKJV) “18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health. 19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.”

Psalm 19:14  (NKJV) “14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart. Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

Colossians 4:6 (NKJV) “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”

Romans 12:14  (NKJV) “14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse”

At this juncture I believe there is nothing else for us to do but to repent for our words.  The things we’ve spoken against ourselves and our identity in Christ, against our family, against our enemies and friends.  We need to have a fresh start with our mouths for 5780 and 2020. Then I have a prayer for making a covenant with your mouth and the Lord.

Repentance Prayer

Abba Father forgive me for the careless words that I have spoken over the last decade.  Forgive me for the things that I have said about myself that were not inline with your plan for my life.  I repent for using the anointing you’ve given me to speak falsehood based on peer pressure, culture and my generation.  Forgive me for the things that I have spoken over my children, my spouse, my family and friends that were not a part of your plan for their lives.  Forgive me for giving voice to what is evil instead of what is good. Purify my heart and mind.  I pray the fire of the Holy Ghost will cleanse my tongue cause me to speak Your words and not my opinions.  Renew my mind with your Word so that only Your words flow from my mouth.  I pray the Holy Spirit makes me aware when I am about to say something that is not  Your will.  According to Psalm 141:3 “put a guard over my mouth and set watch over the doors of my lips”.  Bring a heavy conviction over me when I am getting ready to say the wrong thing and let me quickly be repentant and make it right.  Now Lord I pray that you cancel every evil declaration that I have released into the atmosphere.  I do not want to eat the fruit of death from my lips.  I pray these words come to nothing.  Cause my mind to reflect on things that are true, pure, lovely, praise-worthy, good, uplifting, honest and peaceful.  Give me a new mindset, Your mindset. With so much bad in this world let me see the positive in all situations and speak that instead of what is negative, I trust You Holy Spirit to keep me accountable, in Jesus name, Amen.

Now, this will be challenging to maintain but if you fall down you can always come back to the page and pray this prayer again.  Now we are going to move into another prayer which is one where we make covenant with God and our mouth.  This one is a very powerful prayer as well it is one that the Holy Spirit inspired me to write when I was just starting out as an intercessor and I saw all the witchcraft that can happen in prayer.

These are the words of the prophet Samuel to king Saul…
(1 Samuel 15:23) “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

So when we rebel against the will of the Lord and we are stubborn in our way even though God has said “No” we are operating in witchcraft and idolatry.
You may not realize it but it’s very easy to cross this line in prayer.  We do so when we continually pray, and pray and pray over something that is not God’s will.  We want what we want and so we feel like we can strong arm God into giving it to us.
Sometimes we do it not knowing that we are doing it because we may not clearly know what the will of God is in a particular situation.  In these cases prophetic word 5780you pray “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”  This was the purpose for this prayer in the bible…for instances when we just don’t know His will in a situation.
Covenant Prayer with the Holy Spirit and your mouth

Abba Father, I repent for every prayer of witchcraft that I may have engaged in while praying – whether knowing or unknowing.  From this day forward, I make a covenant with You, Holy Spirit, and my mouth.  Do not allow me to say, pray or write things that are not of You.  Bring instant conviction and cause me to stop, knowing that it is You that is not allowing me to move forward.  As even the prophet Isaiah said, I am a man/woman of unclean lips who lives amongst people of unclean lips but here it is now in 5780 You are opening my eyes to see the Almighty that I may know and understand what is Your will.  Purify my mouth now with coals from the altar in heaven so that I may now be ready to speak.  Touch my hands that I may now be ready to write the things that are pleasing to You and in alignment with your will, in Jesus name, Amen.

John 10:27(KJV) “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”

For this decade God has really been impressing upon my spirit the need for His sheep to really hear His voice.  I started noticing earlier this year, around March, that He was giving fewer words to be delivered to the body of Christ.  I was getting my personal prophetic words and instructions but nothing really new to be given to the body of Christ.

Most of what was given to the body of Christ this year was very repetitive.  Have you noticed that?  It was really nothing new. More of the same even from very well known and reputable prophetic voices.  This then spurred this “new thing” a sort of new desire which was from God but now it is starting to get really distorted.  What is it?  The need for the personal prophetic word.

While many realized that there was nothing new coming out, instead of going to the Lord to hear for themselves they went back to the prophetic voices looking for the personal prophetic word.  It was great that it was recognized that there was a need for more specific personal direction; however, the problem is that the reason why God got repetitive with the body was not for them to ask for personal prophetic words but rather so that they would turn to Him.

You don’t need to ask for a prophetic word from others, what you need is to hear from God yourself.  The prophetic is to point to future events and the confirm what you already know for your personal life.  It is not to be used to hear fresh revelation from the Lord about your life.

If we continue down this path we will become dependent on man instead of God.  Worse yet is when we start to pay, sow a seed, or donate for these personal prophetic words.  What happens when the word received is one where you are told to repent?  Do you then need a refund? What if it sounds exactly like the general word delivered to everyone?   When the word is a positive and uplifting one will you return to pay again next month for yet another word?  Eventually you’ll have a better relationship with your prophet than the Lord.  Do you see the problem?

The reason God held back on the prophetic words was so that you would come to Him.  That’s why.

In the old testament the Ark of the Covenant, which is the place where the Glory of God was hosted and His presence dwelt, was behind a veil.  The only

person that could go behind that veil was the High Priest.  That means the only people who had direct access to the Presence of God was the High Priest and they had to be a Levite.

When Jesus died on the cross the veil, that kept the Ark from the view of the people and Presence away from them, was ripped from top to bottom.  Why did that happen?  It signified that the Presence and Glory of God was now available to everyone.  No more separation. In Christ and through Christ we all have access.

There is no more veil.

Matthew 27:50-51  (NASB) “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.”

You have access.  There is no need for you to get personal prophetic words from others because by doing so what you are doing is taking up the ripped veil and trying to put it veil back in place.

Let me be very clear…the desire you have for that personal word is from God. What you do with this desire is what He is going to work on with you over this coming decade.

I have to say that the church leaders, and prophets, have not done a good job of training people to hear the voice of God for themselves.  Me included.  Yes, we have a few articles on the site that have been here for over 10 years but we haven’t really highlighted them and this is what the Spirit of God is impressing upon us a ministry to focus on for this year.

The sheep needs to hear His voice.  It doesn’t say the prophet, pastors, priest hear His voice then tell the sheep.  No, the sheep needs to hear His Voice and follow Him.

With this said, we will be doing some training on hearing the voice of God.  This is not a prophetic school.  This is for you to hear from God personally for yourself.  There are so many people who can’t or have never been taught how.  We are willing to teach you, for FREE.  No charge because this is something we all need and money shouldn’t be a factor.  If you are not a Christian and you still want to take the class you are welcome to join us. ***Please note, the class ended for this year already.  You can get on the mailing list to be notified if and when we have another class***

This doesn’t mean we are doing away from prophecy.  No, God is very much still speaking through prophets as well.  However, He is never going to tell someone else the specific details of your life to fulfill your purpose on the earth.  There are some things He will only say to you.  Can you imagine David going to Saul to find out God’s will for his life?  Or Joseph consulting his older brothers?  God forbid of all the disciples you went to Judas for the prophetic word.

I believe you are going to start to hear this message from many of the prophetic voices, pastors and bishops over the next year.  This is what God is saying, I need them to know how to hear from Me. John 10:27(KJV) “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me”

You can start this process by following the exercises we’ve outlined here Intimacy with God

We pray this word blesses you.  Please share your comments below.  Here is  Part 2 of this prophetic word for 5780/2020.

Blessings

  1. Dear Sister,
I read it again after 2 years! What a message! The message of the shepherd to his sheep has not been changed! It is still the same! “My sheep listen to my voice.” May God bless you abundantly and make you a blessing in the coming 5782 and the years to come!

  2. Thank you for being so truthful and open . I wish I had been in a member in your ministry long time ago . The mistakes and sinful situations I had experienced, would not have occurred. I thank, the Lord for your ministry and may you be blessed in all your good work , as you will help , so many of us who have been lost through false teachings. Keep up, the good work and expose the fraudsters. I have spent money buying what money can not buy, believing other people are more favoured and chosen to hear and deliver messages to people like me. I would be happy if I can take part in learning, lessons on hearing the voice of God. Thanks, B.B (U.k).

  3. Thank you so very much for your article. Your article convicted my heart and reminded me with more clarity and understanding to be watchful of my words. It also reminded me to focus on hearing the voice of God and not always wanting to hear a prophetic word about my life from man. I had never heard anyone speak or write on this topic in a way that is so enlightening, convicting, and uplifting. May God continue to use you to warn his people for his glory.
    Blessings.

  4. Hello MOP,
I had read this article last year on was impressed and overwhelmed by the nuggets of wisdom and truth. I woke up this morning with a strong impression to really watch my thoughts and words and be very discerning about what and who I share. This was also triggered by something I read about protecting one’s anointing and the example of Delialah and Samson was used. I decided to reread this article and I definitely “saw” things that I had not the last few times that I read it last year.
The prayers (repentance and covenant) are indeed on point and very convicting. They actually reminded me of the Nov 2019 word. I had never prayed for anything like that before but loved to see the transformation of my heart each time that I prayed. I also wondered if I was forcing something that wasn’t of God in my prayers. It is amazing that one might partake of witchcraft prayers without being cognizant of the fact and because of skewed views of what constitutes (especially covert forms) witchcraft. I, too, like the scripture you shared about same as not many are aware of that scripture about rebellion.
God’s timing is impeccable. I truly want nothing but His perfect Will for my life and continue to trust my Great Shepherd! Perhaps, I will share my full story, some day, if so lead, in God’s ordained perfect timing! Thank you once again for the article(s). Is there anyway that I can communicate privately with you? I have some questions that I would like to raise privately?
    Shalom,
    Cheryl
