Prophetic Word – 100 Fold Blessings

prophetic word 100 fold blessings

This prophetic word is titled 100 Fold Blessings.

Who is this word for?  Everyone.

I’ve mentioned this scripture before in the prophetic word on Convergence and as I was reading the scripture I noticed something that I want to point out in this word.

Matthew 13

 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

10 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”

11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:

“Though seeing, they do not see;
    though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

“‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
    you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
    they hardly hear with their ears,
    and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]

16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17 For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

The part that stood out to me was “yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown”

Here’s what I would like to point out to you about this scripture;

1. God gave you 100 percent of the seeds, your potential to reap 100 fold is what you start with.

Please catch this, you are not working up to 100 fold return, you start with 100 fold increase in your blessings.  It says yielding 100, 60, 30.  That means that you start with 100 fold.  You were always destined to WIN. Therefore, what happens after that has to do with your stewardship of that word that was planted.

2. The sentence before that says that the one who produces this 100 fold return is the one who hears the word and understands it.  Phew!  That means you can hear a prophetic word, and you still don’t understand what you just heard or read!

Sometimes you have to go back and reread something, or relisten or rewatch. Especially if the first time you heard it you thought to yourself “I feel like I’m drinking out of a fire hydrant!”  Usually if you get that feeling somewhere there your brain is going stop processing new information as you sit to digest what you just read.  Reread it much later and see what you missed because the clues and instructions may very well be there to tell you how to get 100 fold but you didn’t produce that because you never fully understood it or missed some crucial details.

Prayer:  Lord, grant us the spirit of wisdom and understanding, in Your Holy Name, Amen.

How does one slip from 100 fold return to 30 fold return?

1. You never understood what was said. Verse 18 says because of your lack of understanding the devil stole the word.  Pray for understanding before you listen or read anything.  Especially if you feel like it’s something you need.  Notice where this seed fell, on the path.  It never even touched the (soil) soul of their heart it was out in the open because truthfully it was never received.

You cannot truly receive a prophetic word or message until you understand it.

Because of your lack of understanding, now your 100 fold, which you already have in your hand, can turn to 60 fold.

2. Verse 20 – 21 says this in the Message version

The seed cast in the gravel—this is the person who hears and instantly responds with enthusiasm. But there is no soil of character, and so when the emotions wear off and some difficulty arrives, there is nothing to show for it.

Wow!  These are the people who received the word, they are very happy to hear it and want what is being imparted but then they go on with their lives and as God starts bringing them through the process of receiving that word or promise, they fall apart.

Some prophetic words require a process.  David went through a process.  Esther went through a process, Joseph went through a process.  Jesus went through a process.

The bigger the promise the harder the process will be.  What happens during the process?  Testing, trials, tribulations and massive amounts of character building.

Yes, character building. How you respond to hardship, when you have been wronged, do you have integrity, are you honest, can people trust you?  Will you stand up for Christ when the going gets tough or will you shy away.  What governs your decisions?  Is it your emotions, friends, societal pressure? Character.

And until you go through some things, character is not being formed.  I believe as soon as that word goes forward (the promise). God starts preparing you for it.  So you can be sure you are about to go through some storms and a part of the storm are character building moments.

Also, it is very easy to be happy and stay motivated to see the fulfillment of a word when you’re in a church with people around you to encourage you and you have this wonderful worship team there singing spirit filled anointed songs.  But at some point the service is over, the conference ends, and you go back home to the life you were leading prior to that conference…then what?

At some point you get to the end of reading the prophetic word and you are on a HIGH, that lasts for a little while, maybe a few hours, even a day….then what?

There’s no prophet or pastor or worship team or intercessor at your house to constantly “prop you up”. These emotional swings are real, they happen to everyone, did you know that?  YES.  Even the strongest one in the body of Christ go through moments when they start to question everything.  Look at David…

Psalm 43:5

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!

You to need to learn how to encourage yourself in the Lord. You have to have a plan to pull yourself up out of that pit because at some point it will happen to you.

You see, the Lord told us that when He left the earth another would come.

John 14:26

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

So, it looks like this, you are going through a difficult time and the Holy Spirit will start to bring a scripture into your mind which will help you through that.  You may not know the book, chapter or verse in the Bible, but that scripture will be in our heart and soul after you read it.  A quick Google search with the keywords that are coming to mind will bring it back.  You read it, and BOOM, the depression lifts!  You are back on track.

The problem comes when you don’t read you bible!  So you have NOTHING inside of you for the Holy Spirit to bring to mind.

Making a habit of reading the Bible will cause you to have so much word on the inside of you so that in moments when you have doubts the Holy Spirit will bring to mind what you need at that very moment.

Another pro tip is for you to start reminding yourself of all the impossible situations where God came through for you because we overcome him (the devil) by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.  So reminding yourself of all your testimonies is a great way for you to encourage yourself and remain in faith.

3. Verse 22 in the Amplified bible says

22 And the one on whom seed was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the worries and distractions of the world and the deceitfulness [the superficial pleasures and delight] of riches choke the word, and it yields no fruit.

Would you say that there are a lot of worries right now in the world?  Distractions? I would say YES and so if you believe that based on these worries God won’t fulfill His promise to you, this will cause you to shy away from making bold steps.  Once God gives you a green light on something and says GO, there’s no reason for us to ever use the worries of this world to stop us from moving forward. Sometimes you have to fight for the things you know God says is for you!

Also, I find that in churches (especially in the USA), that success is somehow measured by how much financial wealth you have, or how big your church or ministry is.  This is not how God sees success.  It seems as if people believe the Lord is not on their side if they are not living in mansions and this is just not true.  We have to put away these thoughts and recognize that God will sometimes put us in a place to endure certain hardships to grow us in character and also to put us in an environment to reach a certain demographic of society.  Just because you’re homeless for a season doesn’t mean that you are not successful in the Lord. Ask your bother Elijah about it.  Just because you found yourself in jail during a season doesn’t mean you are not successful in the Lord.  Just ask your brother Paul and his cell mate Silas about that one.  Just because you’re going from house to house sleeping on people’s sofa and they are feeding you doesn’t mean you missed God.  Didn’t He say Go and take nothing with you and if they receive you GOOD, if not kick the dust off your shoes and keep it moving? (paraphrasing here).  So sometimes success can look very different than what social media is telling you it is!  Hence, we shouldn’t judge people when we have no idea what God is doing in their life.  Pray for them to clearly hear God.

Keeping all of this in mind we can see how we slip from 100 to 60 and 60 to 30.

So, in closing, remember this much, you start with 100 fold blessings what happens from that point has to do with how you steward those seeds.  The Lord has already given you the seeds, water them with His word.

Building yourself up in faith, praying, reading the word and enduring through hard times is what will determine how much of that 100 fold you will receive.

To me also, I can’t help but acknowledge that it wasn’t a 1:1 return of what was sown but 100 times.  Therefore, if 1 seed was sown you got 100, 10 seeds were sown you received 1,000.  100 seeds were sown you received 10,000.  and 500 seeds were sown you received 50,000.

This is what is known as the Kingdom math!  LOL.  A supernatural increase. It doesn’t make sense but this is the generosity of the Lord.  He multiplies your effort and whatever you have to go through the rewards are BIG.  Praise God!

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for the seeds you have planted in my life.  I pray that I will given the spirit of wisdom and understanding so that I will understand what it is that You have given me and how I should properly steward it.  I pray that I will endure through the trials, testings and tribulations that will come my way as a result of this promise.  May I not look at others to determine my success but instead inquire of you that I am indeed on the right path and on course to receive the 100 fold blessing that you have already given me.  Thank you for guiding me to the right church, ministries, friends to help me along the way and more importantly give me the desire to read You word more, in Jesus name, Amen.

Blessings

  1. Sjoe! This word was sobering, and I certainly appreciate every word, for in every season I see myself being one of the people represented. Thank you, Nicole! Your effort is so appreciated, words cannot express it.

  2. Thank you so much for this awesome word and reminder. Let’s not pluck up the seeds that have been planted with our mouths. No matter what it looks like in the natural, God‘s promises are yes and amen and our words should be conducted accordingly. My prayer for myself and each of us is the word of God set a watch over my mouth oh Lord, and keep the gates of my lips, Psalms 141:3 blessings!

  3. Another reason why i absolutely abhor the prosperity gospel. The West introduced it to the whole world and sadly is now rampant over in the East too – that success in God’s eyes is measured by the titles, positions, wealth and (even health) that you have. Mention the word suffering and everyone looks at you like you’re the false teacher.

    Yet the King of kings was the suffering servant. Paul wanted to know Christ deeper through the ministry of suffering. Many of the early disciples suffered terribly and violently. The early Church suffered greatly and were constantly persecuted. The heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11 were commended for their faith despite immense suffering. And in this context of suffering and persecution for those who chose to follow Him, Jesus preached that parable of multiplication.

    Today the church has twisted that passage for its own gain, and is now married to prosperity, personality and popularity. And I hate it so much because it’s an insult to our Saviour and to the persecuted church.

  4. What was highlighted to me is the bigger the promise, the weightier the process! Mine must be Huge! That’s why the enemy has been fighting me hard!! I will let God determine my success, not man!! If He’s with me, I am SUCCESSFUL!!!

  5. Thank you prophetess, this is what the church needs to understand cos so much is going on in the lives of people and cos they don’t read the word they keep grumbling and hence no results yielded. God bless your ministry.

  6. Yeah and Amen!!! Thank you Lord for this reminder …. Let us recharge ourselves with the Spirit of a living God and realign our lives with Christ and His example.
