Here is a list of short prayers using the Word of God.  Sometimes we may not have the time for a lengthy prayer or maybe we just want bible

Short Prayers

verses that are short enough that we can memorize them for prayer or speaking the Word when we need it.

We’ve compiled such a list for you!

Please feel free to add any shorter prayers from the bible that you know in the comment section so that we may all Christians will benefit from them.

Prayer of Restoration: (Lamentations 5:19,21 NLT) “LORD, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation. Restore us, O LORD, and bring us back to you again! Give us back the joys we once had!”




Prayer For Restoration: (Psalm 80:19 ESV) “Restore us, O Lord God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved!”

Prayer For Provision: (Psalm 23:1) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”

Prayer of Deliverance from the enemy (Psalm 31:15-17) “My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors! Make your face shine on your servant; save me in your steadfast love! O Lord, let me not be put to shame, for I call upon you; let the wicked be put to shame; let them go silently to Sheol.”

Prayer For Forgiveness: (Psalm 25:11) ~ “For Your name’s sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.”

Prayer to be Rescued from Attacks: (2 Timothy 4:18) ~ “The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His Heavenly Kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

Prayer for immediate change in circumstances: (Psalm 126:4) ~ “Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like the streams in the Negev.”

Prayer for Healing: (3 John 1:2) ~ “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

Prayer if you are suffering from a terminal illness:(Psalm 115:17–18) ~ “The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence; but as for us, we will bless the Lord from this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord!”

    these prayers are a safety net and full of deliverance for the body of Christ.Prayers of a soldier in spiritual warfare seems like an oasis of refreshing love.Thank you so much for posting the prayers that bless our souls tremendously
