I dream t i was having a spiritual battle with spirit of oppression. i was binding the spirit and declaring freedom from oppression. i felt my body very weak. then i saw myself at a women s house who had also had a spiritual battle who also commented on how weak she felt. then my dream went to me walking the neighborhood. i noticed a watering hose was connected to one house but it was watering all of the houses. it was very long but some of the yards were unkept and the grass was very tall. I then went back in the house for bible study and prayer but a lady was sitting next to me kept putting her arm in my field of view not allowing me to see, so i bite her arm. i did not know any of the people in my dream. i then saw my wedding ring was missing.

Please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and to give you the correct interpretation.
The dictionary meaning of “oppression” is the excerise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel or injust manner. It happens when people grow their own sense of power, comfort and security at the expense of others. The one house in the neighborhood with water is representative of oppression.
The word “oppression” also means to overburden, weigh down, overwhelm, or overpower. So the feeling of weakness in your dream represents that feeling of being crushed. Put down, smothered, even tyranny -telling the one that is oppressed what to think, believe and what the future will be. The lady putting her arm in your field of view is trying to tell you what to believe, see etc.
It is all representative of what that spirit tries to dictate. It also influences our identity because oppression carries ideas of domination, harshness, force, injustice, ruling with an iron hand, suffering, torment, even tyranny. It is not God’s heart for us. The houses with unkept yards and long grass are representative of people, or your community, influenced by oppression and not “walking” in the right identity that we have in Jesus Christ.
The wedding ring is representative of a covenant. The spirit of oppression influences and distort our understanding and actual covenant relationship with our Father.
Proverbs 14:31 (NIV)
He who oppresses the poor show contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.
2 Cor.10:4- “casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to pray against this spirit and to show you those areas/places that are under oppression. The Holy Spirit will give you a devine strategy to pull down every stronghold that Holy Spirit reveals to you and to be set free permanently.

M, Thank you so much for replying. I will continue to pray about this dream. Your interpretation has given me a different perspective , one that resonates with my spirit. It is a very difficult situation and one that i would ask you to please pray that the Lord gives me the words to speak in love, truth and freedom for all those involved.
