I been taking psych medication for five years. I am not happy that I have to take them. Yesterday a minister told me that people who take psychiatric meds are going to hell and won’t make it to Heaven. She said those meds are controlled by Satan and you open up yourself to him when you take them. I feel so alone. She didn’t offer me any hope. All she said was throw them meds away. It is like she didn’t care whether I lived or died. My heart is heavy and I don’t understand. I don’t want to go to hell. I want to live with Jesus Christ!
Oh my goodness Nicky, I am so sorry to hear this, please don’t listen to that voice; it’s the devil. The devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy. The devil is trying to take your meds away, in Order to attack your mind for good. Remember God is in everything and no, you won’t go to hell for taking medication. Please forgive your pastor for saying this and ask the Lord what you must do about this church, and if he wants you to move to another church. This shows that whatever you are doing it is working against the devil and he want to steal that away from you. Don’t believe that lie, just trust God in his timing for your healing and nobody goes to hell for taking medication. Then we should all stop taking vitamins or stop going to see doctors. I will keep you in my prayers and I hope he will give me a scripture to share with you in order to give you hope and peace I his word.
Here are the The Beatitudes in Mathew 5
2And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
6“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
7“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
8“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
9“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sonsa of God.
10“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. 12Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
And in Ephesians 6 put on The Whole Armor of God
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
