Last night I dreamt that I was looking out on the top of a hill and I looked over the balcony area down the hillside I saw birds on the ground over a brown snake but the snake did not bite them, also there were little animals that came running to me and behind them I saw their mother fox. So I turned to look behind me and when I again looked at the hillside all the animals were gone and the field was now smooth and clean all the way downward… My interpretation/understanding is that the Lord will remove all the little foxes and the snakes that are in my life – the future is clear and good.

Here is what I’m getting…
When you come up higher I believe you will have perspective on the sins, even the little ones that seem harmless to you, and places where the enemy is working in your life. The brown snake does not bother the birds because they are essentially the same thing and out to do the same work — to steal. The snake is brown because it is earthly. In the parable of the sower (Matthew 13), the farmer scattered the seeds and the birds came to take the seed. The fox is here to do the same work, to steal and to attack God’s people, but I think it may have to do specifically with sins. The mother fox might represent something bigger than just a “little” sin. Foxes, snakes, birds or other little animals are all potential threats to steal your relationship and they must be removed. Often it’s the little things, the things overlooked, that often spoil things of value.
The field is the world, and when you are in it is not as apparent or visible to you. That’s why it is important to get God’s higher perspective so you can readily deal with whatever comes your way! While I do think God can remove our little foxes and snakes, I am reminded that he’s given us the authority to overcome them!
In essence, I believe this is a dream to caution you to take preventative measures to protect this love between you and the Lord from anything that could harm it and more specifically, the sins which separate us from God.
My encouragement to you, dear brother, is to continue to come up higher with the Lord where God will show you things as they really are so you can see clearly and your way forward is smooth!
