Prophetic Word – Rein, Rain, Reign
I heard the Lord says Rein, Rain, Reign. Of course, all of these words are pronounced exactly the same way but when He said it I knew in my spirit that it was actually 3 different words.
This prophetic word concerns these three words
REIN

2. The instrument of curbing, restraining or governing; government.
To give the reins, to give license; to leave without restraint.
To take the reins, to take the guidance or government.
REIN, v.t.
1. To govern by a bridle.
2. To restrain; to control.

1. Check your Reins.
What is driving you from your inner most being? What is governing your heart? What is giving direction to your life?
(Jeremiah 17:10) I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings
Understand that what is controlling your heart, will provide instructions to you that will then determine your steps.
(Psalms 16:7) I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
2. It is going to Rain.
Rain is a sign of blessing. It brings refreshing to the soul. It waters the ground fills our lakes and ponds and makes things grow.
We also know that rain can be destructive. Therefore God can use the one thing to bring blessing and destruction at the same time.
(2 Chronicles 7:13-14) “At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you. Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.”
So the Lord is saying that if we realize we are not being blessed then we need to humble ourselves in prayer and repent. This is the solution to have the rain of His blessings upon our lives.
You should also know that God can have it rain on some people and not others (Amos 4:7). So He’s looking at our individual lives to determine where He rains his blessings.
3. You are about to Reign.
(Eccleciastes 4:14a) For out of prison he cometh to reign;
How many times have we seen it in the bible? Many, many, many times and far too many to count. Joseph from the prison to the palace. David, the red headed, half brother shepherd boy who used to get the lunch is now king. Esther, Ruth, Moses, Gideon it goes on and on. God loves to take people from lowly places (humility) into positions of prominence. This is one of His specialties!! When you humble yourself and do what the Lord says eventually He causes you to REIGN!
It must happen! There are too many examples that point to Him doing this. And not one example that says He won’t! It is inevitable! If you walk in obedience and humility and use wisdom in your dealings. It is IMPOSSIBLE for you not to succeed. There is not one example in the bible where someone is humble and obeyed the Lord and they didn’t win.
(Proverbs 30:21) There are three things that make the earth tremble—no, four it cannot stand: A slave who becomes a king…… Wow!
I’m laughing with some of you right now. Your enemies are about to see you reign and they will have no idea how you got there. I can hear it now….Wait a second, what did I miss? What just happened? LOL They will not be able to stand it.
The reigning is going to happen so quickly. From one day to the next, everything changes.

Check the reins of your heart. It has already started raining but there is about to be a deluge. This rain is going to bring destruction but also many blessings to the body of Christ. What happens in the midst of it will be chaos. If the reins of your heart is not rooted in God, you’re going to run into many problems. Keep your eyes on Jesus. Humble yourself. Obey His voice. Ask Him for wisdom. Everyone will be running around like a chicken with their head cut off. But, here you come… Reigning!
Rein, Rain, Reign.
