I’m not sure when (recent or period of life) you had this dream but strictly from this dream alone the scripture that came to me was “I am the Light of the world” (John 8:12) and John 1:5. You can look up more scriptures of light and the darkness/world. The clothing suggest that you are walking in righteousness (remember that when it is all said and done, The Lord Jesus Christ is our Righteousness). As for your friend it may not be apparent from “externally” onlookers of his walk but he is a light in the darkness. This was a play-on-words. The colours (white and silver) are positive in the context of your dream.

Thank you! This friend of mine is in a dark place right now. I got the feeling that God was telling me that he was in the process of being redeemed, but that process might require him to walk through the dark. I have been trying to help him get on the path of righteousness, but he keeps isolating and falling.

Thank you for elaborating. I thought of redemption as it pertained to the silver pants and felt I was missing something. Your explanation ties it all together about the darkness being a play-on-words of him being in a “dark” place. Continue to walk side by side with him as that is what God has called you to do. May He give you grace and your friend to see the Light in the midst of the darkness.

Hello Dan,

One last thing. Isaiah 58 came up in my devotions this morning and I thought of yourself and friend. Each of you will know EXACTLY and SPECIFICALLY the portion that applies to you individually and collectively. Isaiah 58:10 caught my eyes specifically but I sense the Lord is also providing specific guidance for both of you for potential work/ministry in the latter portion as well. I’ll let you take it back the Lord.
