I saw myself in the 3rd person standing in a hallway with a bald child. She/he was about 6-7 years old, we were smiling together and holding hands. When we took a step forward towards me the child started to get smaller until it turned into a baby and then the dream ended.

      Hello Dan,

Thank you for sharing your dream with us. Please take everything that I share back to the Holy Spirit as He Alone gives the accurate interpretation.

I’m not sure when (recent or period of life) you had this dream but strictly from this dream alone two possible interpretations come to mind:
      1) The child represents a business/project/ministry/habit/addiction/self. Reflect on “what” is “6-7 years old” in the context of the options I have presented and that you enjoyed. You are in transition and that “thing” is in regression mode (resorting back to a baby).
      2) You need to nurture the “6-7 years old” thing to prevent it from regressing.

You will know which of the two interpretations is accurate but the key is you need to “take a step forward,” (a play-on-words) again depending on what option is accurate.

      Shalom!

Thank you for that! I feel like you are spot on with the transition part. Hallways are transition points, and I was happy in the hallway. I feel like if I take a step forward too fast in this transition period, it may regress? I believe the child is my ministry, due to the fact that I am learning heavily about performing deliverance, freedom, spiritual warfare, spiritual discernment and helping others.

Also, I have one quick question. Can symbols and colors (signs from God) be interpreted the same in the natural as they can in dreams? Ever since I have started walking with intent to write down my dreams and interpret them, people have started bringing up their dreams and signs from God. Almost as God was guiding me to teach them how to write them down or seek answers as to how God was trying to talk to them. One of the topics was a sign from God while they were at a stop light thinking about a decision on buying a house, and a butterfly purposefully stopped in front of their windshield at the stop light, stared directly at both people in the car (enough to where it got both of their attention – and they thought, this is weird), and then immediately afterwards they got a call from the realtor saying their loan is approved. It was a yellow butterfly, which I know can mean hope. But can we translate these signs the same way as in our dreams?

      Hello Dan,

Thank you for the thought provoking question. I’ve heard a school of thought say “yes” that we should interpret things in the natural similar to dreams. I’m not opposed to this but believe that we should always seek the wisdom of God when certain instances “catch” our eyes just in case. The enemy may play tricks as well. I try to pray Isaiah 11:2 before I start interpreting dreams and always use the written disclaimer about ” …please take everything I share back to the Holy Spirit because…”that you see me use in this forum. I do this to remember my place (may He increase and I decrease), that I’m a vessel and in keeping with the fear of the Lord as per the 7 spirit in Isaiah 11:2.

God has definitely spoken to me using a butterfly in the natural and it had to do with renewal.

      I hope that helps.

      Shalom!

You are welcome and may Yahweh Alone be praised! It is a powerful scripture, indeed!
