Father God, I present to you this day my husband and ask that you put the hedge of thorns, according to Hosea 2:6, around him to keep them from falling into sin. Cause him to not find the way of unfaithfulness. Cause all ungodly desires, desires to strange women, side chicks to not be fulfilled. May he return to a covenant relationship first and foremost with you, God, and secondly to the covenant relationship that You have ordained from the foundations of the earth. I pray for grace, patience and peace to guard my heart as I wait on You Lord to bring this prayer to fulfillment. I pray that You would send away all these ungodly desires, ungodly people, inordinate relationships and associations. May my husband lose the desire to go that way, reveal to him that this way is destruction and against your will. Give him dreams and visions to see that the end is of no good. I pray that You will season my speech with grace so that I will know what to say and when to say it. I pray that you will cleanse my heart and root out any seed of bitterness. Give me grace to forgive. Put a guard over my mouth and show me how I can accommodate the reconciliation and restoration of this covenant relationship. If I have any responsibility in driving my husband away from you God and from this covenant relationship, please reveal it to me. Forgive me God and prepare me for his return. Guide him and me with your Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Holy and Righteous Father, I pray Ade’s husband repents and that the fear of the Lord overwhelms him. I pray he chooses godly sorrow over worldly sorrow and that he turns to his role as head of his household and wife. You say in 2 Cor 7:10 (VOICE): 10 Now this type of deep sorrow, godly sorrow, is not so much about regret; but it is about producing a change of mind and behavior[b] that ultimately leads to salvation. But the other type of sorrow, worldly sorrow, often is fleeting and only brings death. 11 Look at what is happening among you! Notice how authentic and diligent you have become because this godly sorrow has been at work in your community. But there’s more: your desire to clear your name, your righteous anger, your respect, your longing, your zeal, and your concern for justice. All these demonstrate how you have been made clean.
I pray you comfort, console, and strengthen Ade and that you grant her the ability to keep a pure and tender heart despite her pain and the reality of her situation. I pray Holy Spirit that you would realign her thoughts, mindset, and desires to your will and your way in this situation. I pray your will be done and your kingdom come in this marriage. I pray for healing, repentance, and brokenness that leads to restoration. I pray you preserve Ade’s mental and emotional well-being and that you enable her to be surrounded by godly and gracious counsel that reflects your mind and heart for her. In Jesus name, Amen.
