I’ve recently realised a reoccurring element in some of my dreams. As far as I can recall, it’s happened twice this week (including last night) and the initial instance was at the end of August 2020.

Instance 1:
At work, trying to pack up at the end of the day (for some reason I had my rucksack and carry on suitcase with my resources including a change of clothes incase I had to conduct outdoor activities). I never seemed to be able to leave at the end of the day as my workspace always needed tidying (I’m generally quite an organised and tidy person so this isn’t a real life bad habit), I’d be looking at the clock 5:45pm, 5:50pm, 6pm… everyone else would have left by 6pm and eventually my boss would come kick me out as it was time to close the premises.

Eventually my husband came to meet me after work one day, we managed to get the suitcase packed and out of the building (it was raining that evening). We had to leave via a secret exit after locking up as there was a particular way of doing things at my work place.

Instance 2: Again kind of work environment. I’m trying to pack at the end of, what appeared to be, a retreat trip away and I’m really struggling to finish packing my suitcase, like everytime I turn there’s more stuff that needs packing. Some acquaintances waited for me to finish packing (albeit they waited impatiently). Still I couldn’t seem to pack everything as my belongings kept multiplying! I considered just leaving the rest of stuff as the bus to take us home would be leaving soon (or something like that). The dream switched then to being outside leaving the premises in the rain.

Instance 3: My husband and I were staying away at a hotel. The hotel managers name was Clive (???don’t ask me why, I don’t know a Clive). On departure day, check out time was 12pm (I was always thinking about this as didn’t want to be late and pay an additional fee). At the end of our stay we left on time and while we were out (it’s almost like the dream looped at this point) I remembered I needed to pack our things up to check out on time. So we go back to the room…we pack up and are leaving the room to get to the elevator and something happened where I realised we hadn’t packed everything!! My husband went to the reception to get more time (they were cool and casual about everything). During this 3rd event of packing I think we even had an afternoon nap, delaying the process further.
Anyway, some maids knocked while we were still trying to pack up the clothes and belongings (which AGAIN seemed to be multiplying). There were 3-5 maids checking and helping us to pack (we’re not rich or wealthy by the way and have never had maids or anything like that, in fact we’re currently surviving on God’s grace as I’ve not had work for sometime so seeking God in this area). I felt like everytime I thought we were nearly done someone would open a draw or a cupboard that I was certain I’d already emptied of it’s contents and the space would be full of clothes again…sometimes things that I’d thought I’d already packed.

These are all parts of full length dreams but this is the element that keeps recurring, I’ve tried to be as succinct but detailed as possible.

It’s really bothered me all day. I’ve prayed and asked on it but nothing. I feel like God is trying to tell me something but I literally do not understand the message. Is it good or a warning for example?
