I’ve been having a series of dreams and visions surrounding this one person for the past two – three years. I’ve spent time praying about it when I encountered it. I reached out to him when I felt compelled. I’ve spent time jotting down my dreams immediately after I’ve had them and I’ve had signs around me that seemingly point back to him…like a car similar to the one he drives suddenly appearing in my line of sight, a street name that resembles his being highlighted when I’m not paying attention. I’ve gone back and forth making sure that these dreams and visions aren’t something I’ve conjured up, that they don’t stem from some unhealthy obsession or weird fallacy. I’ve searched my heart and have constantly pursued God about this. To date, I simply acknowledge what I see or dream and have chosen to not ‘feed it’.
Last night, I found this site when I was searching for a prayer of revelation. I read thoroughly, prayed and rested; however, the dream that I had wasn’t relevant to the concern I prayed for (at least not in the obvious sense anyway. For context, my prayer was about a custody battle I’m dealing with for my 5 year old son). Last night’s dream was of the man I previously spoke about. In the dream, we were in the pasture behind my parent’s house. The man, let’s call him Charles for the sake of privacy, was riding a wild, uncontrollable horse. I was standing on the inside of the pasture right where Charles was riding. The horse had an unusual face though. It was much wider than a horse’s face with human-like characteristics. I also remember the horse being brown in color. I remember that something else happened in the dream but in a different scene (I think it was just casual conversation between my family, myself and Charles in my parent’s living room but I don’t remember significant detail.) While I type this, I remember a former conversation where the two of us shared a mutual interest in horses. I’m not sure if it’s relevant but I wanted to add.
For further context, Charles & I do not communicate regularly. We met in college over 8 years, have followed each other on social media (with me unfollowing him a time or two in an effort to stop the dreams in they were a result of my own doing) and have had conversation this past summer about a nonprofit organization that he started. Other than that, we live very separate lives.

Sometimes when God reveals a person in a dream to us…. it’s for us to lift that person up in prayer.

Before I share what the Holy Spirit put on my heart in regards to your dreams/signs about this individual, let me share a little testimony surrounding your post.
I initially read it the week you posted it and immediately the Holy Spirit reminded me of revelation he had given me in regards to a similar situation in my life (currently walking through the fulfillment of this revelation). However i was so insecure in posting the revelation that I just prayed over the post, that someone else would give you the interpretation you needed because i wasnt sure if what He showed me was related to your post. Since then, on random occassions, the post would come to my mind, i would say a quick prayer and push it away. Fast forward to today, He led me to this website, (didnt even want to come on it) but the first post I saw was yours, got another confirmation and here I am.
For me this goes to show how God will go to all the ends of the earth to give you what you the information you need in order for you to step into what He has for you.Here it goes:
God has a role for “Charles” to play in your life and vice versa.God has been giving you triggers and highlighting certain things about him to you (similar car, road names etc). It’s like placing a neon sign with an arrow pointing to something (you can’t ignore what the sign is pointing to). And it will keep happening until you fully grasp what role God has him play in your life, it will probably continure to happen after you know as well, because God may continue to reveal aspects of the person/situation in layers. Just wanted to point out a dream you mentioned: you and your family, and Charles, were in a living room discussing something. A living room represents fellowship, and the people in the room were key-your family. Through the Holy Spirit, what do you discern from that? Not sure what the horse with the strange face means but you mentioned you were in a pasture, first thought that comes to mind is Psalm 23:2, a place God leads you in peace. Have you asked God why he keeps highligting this individual to you, and why he keeps reconnecting you to him? God will definately tell you why, keep doing what your doing (recording dreams and praying about Him, and not making the situation/person an idol). I will keep praying that God guides you and gives you the wisdom and discernment you need.

Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your dream. I concur with everything said by SM and Ann and would like to elaborate on Ann’s contribution. Before I proceed, I would like to say that, I have been very hesitant to provide interpretations publicly as we are indeed dealing with people’s lives and potentially, their destiny. Nevertheless, I commend Ann for stepping out and that emboldened me to speak out. This recent word for March 2020 on “What’s written in your scrolls” also encouraged me to respond to your dream and I am reminded from the article that prophecy is limited and we know in part as there can be many layers. So may the Holy Spirit guide my fingers as I type 🙂 In addition, the mention of triggers by Ann reminded me of the article here on “Understanding the timing of prophetic words and dreams: Series Part 5”.
I will focus on the image of the Horse.
Horse: The fact that the horse had human features caught my attention (as I have had similar dreams except that it pertains to dogs- but was positive). Could the Holy Spirit be telling you that Charles has characteristics similar to a horse? I say Charles because he was riding the horse and the horse had human features. Do you both have a mutual love/fondness for horses? Could the Holy Spirit be saying that Charles has a heightened sense of ambition that could be deemed “wild” by some? I just randomly looked up the biblical meaning of a brown horse online and I found “if you have seen a brown horse in your dream, it means that you are a very motivated person and your ambition is very high. Even though there may be many obstacles on your way, you are ready to overcome them.” A horse in biblical times was also used for war. Could Charles have a warring spirit? May the Holy Spirit give you the full interpretation and grace (5-# of grace of dealing with the custody battle) and usher in new beginnings for you (8- # put off something for new beginnings), in Jesus’ Almighty name, Amen!Shalom,
