Thanks for taking the time to pray for God’s perfect will in my life.
The word of God clearly states that reconciliation is his heart for a husband and wife. (1 Cor 7:10-11). This is what I am praying for God’s perfect will for a husband and wife to honor their wedding vows til death do they part. I don’t agree that I should give up on my husband.
The bible says to pray fervently, and I am praying according to His written word. Divorce is the enemy’s plan but according to the word of God and the heart of God, the will of God is for my husband to repent of lusting after another woman and for him to be a Man of God who keeps his marriage covenant with the wife of his youth. I may be divorced in man’s eyes but in the eyes of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my husband and I are still in covenant until death do we part according to scriptures (Luke 16:18 and Mathew 19:9).

I will continue to pray and fast that God’s perfect will be done in both my covenant spouse and I. I do believe that as long as my Covenant spouse is still alive and breathing that I am to pray that he will repent and turn his heart and life back to God.
I agree that I do not need to make an idol out of my husband but I should continue to pray for his soul to be saved and for him to be a godly man, godly husband, and father. I believe as his covenant wife that I am to pray for his deliverance from satan’s plan.

I would never stop or give up on my natural child and how much more should I never give up on God saving my covenant spouse for we are one flesh. We are no longer two but one flesh according to the word of God. I am all for God’s perfect will as it lines up with his word.

“Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. Luke 16:18
1 Corinthian 10:7, To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.…

Thank you for sharing about praying and fasting because that is a powerful tool against the enemy. I have a cousin who divorced his wife but ended up remarrying her because the Lord convicted him of keeping his vows. I know that what I am believing God for seems impossible to many but I want be the first nor the last that God will show up and show out in his omnipotent power to heal and restore covenant marriages!!! Hallelujah to our God who is able to do what man see as impossible, all things are possible through Christ Jesus!

Love you my Sister in Christ and i pray that my sharing will be a blessing and encouragement to someone else!!!!
