This is a one week fast for 2024. The fast begins 5 Days after you sign up.
Here’s how this will work.
- When you sign up you will receive a welcome email, please check your spam folder to be sure you receive all the emails.
- The Fast begins 5 Days after you sign up. This will give you the time you need to gather the items for the fast.
- During the fast, every day you will receive the email for that day which will have a prayer focus and scripture meditation.
- Each day will be different, and the prayer and scriptures need to be done in the order you receive them for greater results. We also give you the opportunity to submit your dreams on the dreams forum for interpretation. God speaks to us so much through dreams and there are times when we need help knowing exactly what He is saying.
- By the end of the fast you should notice:
- Clarity
- A sense of freedom and peace in your mind, body, spirit and soul. It is a complete detox.
- Direction on how to move forward in 2024, not from us but from God since the whole purpose of the fast is to get you more focused on Him.
- And the best past, answered prayers! You will learn some prayer strategies on how to get answers and this will result in massive breakthroughs to your prayers.
- Cost: Being willing and obedient to follow what the Lord will reveal to you during this process. Showing up every day to do the exercise and read the Bible verses. Shutting off the social media, TV and any other outlets that will bring the evening news, fear or distraction into your atmosphere. This one week break from the media will allow you to hear clearly. Other than that, it’s free.

A few things to have on hand to start the fast:
- Your bible (physical & digital copy, if you have it)
- Notebook & pen for journaling
- An audio recording device (most phones have one just be sure you know how to use it)
- Anointing oil
- Communion elements We take communion every day during the fast. The type of fast recommended:
Most people do a Daniel Fast reference Daniel 1:12. You can find more information about this type if fast by clicking here. If you more experienced at doing a Daniel Fast, perhaps consider doing a juice fast.
Please do what is best for you and your health, consult your doctor. If you know you cannot do this, then do your best.

Unless you must, please consider shutting it all down for the week.

Such a blessing for me to be a part of this Daniel prayer and fasting. When I pray the corporate prayer, I feel like I’m in a room full of brothers and sisters. Our Father loves us so much! Even though I have not met any of you in person, I have met my spiritual family! I Love all of you!

This was my first long fast and it was amazing the daily emails with the to do lists for each day really helped I got closer to the Lord I have no fear anymore there’s so much clarity now on the love of the Lord and who He is so thank you it wasn’t easy but it was sooooo worth it, looking forward to more!!! Thanks to the missionaries website I started fasting but I only fast two days I find the job I was fasting for thanks for the words of encouragement in Jesus Christ name amen.
This fast was amazing. I really felt HIS presence every time I read or listened to the songs!! I can’t wait for 2022!!

Hi, first l will like to apologize for not doing the full 7 days fast, I did 5 days. It was a fulfilling 5 days, I have learned to be obedience to god will, example: one morning I woke up with a song, I prayed but I was unable to anything all day, not until I played the song and pray with it that’s how I was released to go through the day. I was at peace, I have other experience that will me know God,Jesus, Holy Spirit and my special Angel was with me, I felt the presence, and because of my faith I know that everything will work out according to his will.

This fast has honestly been the best thing i’ve ever done. I’ve achieved new depths in my relationship with God, as well as started the healing process to things ive become blind and numb to. I was reminding of the power and significance of the God I serve and I am forever grateful. This is only the beginning.

When I found the Missionaries of prayer website, only God could have lead me to encounter a place where his presence dwells. 7 days of fasting, praying and communion has bought me closer to God and putting him first. The Communion has remind me how much he loves me and Jesus to make a sacrifice of his son. I realize how powerful love is to God because Jesus must have loves us a lot and the Father to lay his life down so that we can have a relationship with Father God. I am blessed to have come across this opportunity to fast! I was looking for fasting guides and thankfully I found this. I was actually a little late for the schedule, but better late than never right? Through this fast, my world was turned upside down. It directed my life by realizing what my priorities should really be. It reminded me once again that God should come first. And by prioritizing God, that means that you have to care and be generous for others as well. Do not just think about yourself.
