Now that the Supreme Court has ruled gay marriages to be legal in the US, Christian denominations and other religious groups have stated their positions on whether or not they will allow same sex marriages in their churches, mosques or temples.

Though this is not a complete list of all the churches, it is at least a start.

This is information that we all need to know to make decisions on where we should go to church and raise our families.

We will keep this information up to date so you can check back or leave your church information in the comments so that we can have a comprehensive place to find out this information.

We need to educate ourselves on this topic since it is now the law of the land.

Below is a chart from the Pew Research Center.  This information is as of July 2, 2015

churches and same sex marriage

We know that within some denominations there a different groups that have opposing views.  For example the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) allows same sex unions but the Presbyterian Church of America does not.  One group is called PCA and the other PCUSA.

If you are looking for scriptures in the bible related to homosexuality, we’ve put bible verses from the old and new testament. Christianity is based on the bible so we should always know what Jesus God says about every situation according to His word, please read these:

Romans 1:18-32

Genesis 19:1-29
