Thank you for sharing anonymous. That was a very powerful dream. And I believe very much relevant to the prophetic word as well. Your interpretation also rings true to me. I want to talk about Scene 1 because think I may be able to add some insight to that portion. Black can mean creativity, it can also mean sin/demonic or elegance/sophistication (i.e a black tie event). Just as white can mean purity/holiness and it can also mean a religious spirit. How we find the correct interpretation is by layering the symbolism and looking at the context to see which one makes the most sense. So in using the principle of layering symbolism, I believe the watch is the root of all the problems presented in the dream. The watch color is black – sin. It is plastic/rubber – artificial/not real. It is on the left hand – not “right”. It is borrowed – it’s not yours/you don’t own it. Think of it as Saul telling David to wear his armor. It wasn’t going to work because David would be operating out of someone else’s anointing and gifting. The watch tells times and season and makes us move in or out of things. If we are following someone else’s timeline instead of going off what God is telling us Himself, we could be wrong. Wrong timing. This totally lines up with what was shared in the word. Autopilot set to someone else’s revelation is sin, basically. (read that last sentence again). We need our own word, a now word. In the dream, you knew what was the right thing to do. I don’t think this is you, I actually believe you represent the body of Christ and what we are living right now. We KNOW what to do, by the Spirit, by revelation (Blue dress) but if we are tied to the timing of the old season, it’s wrong. Artificial man made methods that don’t flow with the spirit of God. You’re changing soiled linens from the old season (nursing home) change of the guards, changing in to the new. That is VERY powerful. It’s honoring the old system but realizing that we have to move into the new. Change the clothes, cleaning it. Can only be done by going through the operating room – by the GREAT PHYSICIAN. The Master Surgeon. A lot of the pain we are feeling now is the operating room because we don’t like the change. But if you notice you couldn’t get to the next place until you went through the operating room/change. You see we can still honor our elders but we need to know when it is time to move into the new. We have to change the watch and and put on the one God is giving us, not the one Saul is lending us. Otherwise, we miss the timing. Many times what we call “honoring others” in the church is just plain ole Idolatry and we need to discern the difference. Now notice that when you get to the next Scene you are still tied to the old system because you’re wearing the watch. So you proceed to operate in the old way by calling her a name that you thought was correct but it wasn’t. Now because you are still operating under the revelation of the Holy Spirit (blue dress) you recognized that the old way is not working so you start to look around for the new way (coming off the autopilot) and this is where you get the breakthrough. Very powerful dream. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you for sharing! I got the same scripture after He gave me the first one that I outlined in the post. And, He is faithful because those seasons do thankfully come to an end. We don’t live in that place forever.

Don’t be in despair. He’s going to pick up right where you are now. It’s just daily obedience. Put one foot infront of the other. You’ll get back on track just by doing the simple things He tells you everyday.

A very timely word for me. And it just showed in my Gmail when I was feeling hopeless. We started our business on faith during these times because of a word from God. While everything is going strong, there are delays for no reason at all, and I was losing hope and all the wrong thoughts going in my head. Thank God for this word.

Wow! That is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it. Amazing! He knew you would need it so He gave it to you ahead of time and then He used this word to remind you that you already have it. Remember the staff is used to guide a flock so this is not just for you and your family. You are the shepherd of hope. You have the authority to speak it over other people’s lives as well. Hi Annie, I don’t believe we can ever love anyone to the extent that God requires of us until we first experience the love of God to the point of overflow. If we doubt God’s love for us or we don’t feel complete in His love for us, it will feel like a chore to love anyone else. Because we would be coming from a place of lack. You cannot give what you don’t have. So the first step would be to ask the Lord to fill you with His love until it overflows. This would require you to be in constant prayer asking God to fill you with His love and to give you reassurance that it is there by showing you tangible signs that demonstrate how much He loves you. Once you get to the point where you are completely overwhelmed with His love you will find that you become very secure in who you are. You fear nothing because that perfected love casts out fear. And, you will freely be able to give love to others because you have an abundance of it. Spend time daily meditating on scriptures that talk about the love of God. This will help you greatly.
