Hi Tamara, this is a really good question. In the story I referenced above with the snake you’ll notice that I was battling it by myself. I was working and thinking from a 1st heaven perspective – doing it in my own strength and fighting the best I know. Once I accessed the 3rd heaven, I learnt how to work with the angels. Because I could see what God was doing and knew what needed to be in place in order for HIS will to be done. So when I send them, it’s not for me, it’s for Him. They will not do anything that is outside of God’s will so even if you command them, they won’t do it. Here are the scriptures that govern when an angels will step in (Ephesians 6:12) because an angel will never come against a human being. The angels will go after the spirit that is influencing the person and not the person. That’s why God told you to stop. When our mouths are anointed (prophet or intercessor) demons will come and not angels to do the bidding of hurting another human being. So, the request would have to entail fighting a spiritual force, demon, evil spirit, principality, no human entities. Yes, they will come for that. The next thing is what are the commands? (Psalm 103:20) It has to be biblical. It doesn’t matter whose voice speaks the Word (bible), it is the word that sends them out. Because they operate in order and not disobedience, timing of a things is also important. If I’m going to a meeting or need to catch a flight and there is a traffic jam, for sure I ask them to clear the traffic and they do it. Is that in the bible? No, that’s just everyday life but I’m not coming against another human being and I need to get to my appointment (which is the will of God); therefore, they clear the traffic for me. I do not go to places where God has not sent me, so while I am there I am under the authority of God to do what I need to do, as long as I am in God’s will and doing what God told me to do, the angels obey everything that I tell them because it is part of the mission that God sent me on. As a new Christian, I would also be baffled by a verse like (John 14:14) because I would do it and it never happened. Again, if it’s not in God’s will and it’s not God’s timing, it’s not going to happen. And when we ask sometimes it is a totally selfish request. Like I said in the post, from the 3rd heaven the first thing God works on is your love walk. When you start to love people the way God loves them you become more mindful of what you ask because you think about the consequences of what you’re asking and how it will affect others. Once we go through the processing of the love walk, we can command angels because they are asked from a place of love. And love would never wish or ask for evil to be done against another human being regardless of what they did or are currently doing. When you look down at your hands in the spirit realm and see the same scars on your hands that Jesus has on His, you’re ready. Now you can command them and also when John 14:14 becomes real for you. Hi FE, I believe I know what is happening with you. Do a Google search for “tree of life” and see what comes up. Read each one of them. Because you are wearing that pendant you’re calling them in to you. You know it to mean one thing but for them it means something else. It would be like me going out of my house wearing rainbow earrings today, and then tomorrow I am wearing a t-shirt with a rainbow on it, then the next day a rainbow baseball cap. At some point during that week there are going to be women coming up to me asking me on a date because they are going to assume I am gay. The rainbow means one thing to me but another to them. And it calls them in. Further, I would have to consider who was the artist that made the rainbow earrings, what was the person’s intention when they made it? Because that spiritual energy will be connected to the earrings and to that lifestyle. It then becomes a beacon in the spiritual realm for that. Who made your tree of life pendant? This is what I think is happening to you. You can either use it as an evangelism piece or reserve yourself to the fact that as long as you have that piece of jewelry in your possession (not just around your neck but in your house) you are calling them in. Yes, I have been there James. This is why I can write about it. Some people have to go through it so that they can teach others what to do and what not to do. The beautiful hope now for you is knowing that there is a place where you can wage war in a safe environment free of demonic things. Your life will change when you tap into this because you’ll see how all the striving (warfare) you used to do before this was totally unnecessary and that God really wants us to war from a place of rest. Hi Thembela, the difference between your animals and the one I referenced here is that this is not my bird, it belongs to the one who sent it. And it showed up to disrupt the prayer not to sit there quietly and join in. Animals are very sensitive to the realm of the spirit and they also worship God. I wrote a post about that here. It is possible your dogs just love getting into the presence of God which is a beautiful thing to hear. Just to be on the safe side, why don’t you lay your hands on the dog’s head and pray a simple prayer – you need to be gentle when you’re doing this and not aggressive – Just say “Jesus loves you, you were created by Elohim to be a part of this family; therefore let your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, feet be used to Glorify Yahweh, the One true and living God in this home. May you be used for His glory and no other entity or spirit will have the right to access your gates and use you for evil, in Jesus name, Amen” Be gentle. If there is anything there it will leave.
