The Psalm 91 Prayer for a Hedge of Protection

Hi Erika, while you might disagree with the “idea” that Psalm 91 is not for unbelievers this is a fact. Not ever scripture in the bible is for everyone. You also need to know that an unsaved person cannot pray the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:6-10 for protection) because that is for believers only too. If everything in the bible was for everyone, why be saved? What would be the incentive? Jesus did die for the world but guess what? The world won’t be saved! It’s all about free will. We get to choose. Life or death, the choice is ours but not everyone will choose Jesus. Here are some other facts that people generally hate hearing… Some people will actually go to hell. Revelation 20:15 Fact. Jesus is the only way to heaven, this not a suggestion. There are not several paths to salvation, only Jesus. John 14:6 Fact. There is a devil. Revelation 20:2 Fact. There is a hell. Revelation 20:14 Fact. NO, these facts are not warm and fuzzy. They are just facts! Why would God do that? You should read Romans 11:11. Even Jewish people have to be saved by Jesus. Yes, not even the chosen get a free pass. God set it up this way to spark JEALOUSY!
Imagine you can cast out demons, heal the sick, work miracles, open the heavens and blessings pour out to people EVERYONE would say “how do you do that? I want to do that too!” Your response should be… Well, you need to come to Jesus, accept Him as your Lord and Savior and you get the benefits package – eternal life first and the rest of it to boot! We don’t hand out the blessings and benefits while watching people go to hell. There are benefits here on earth to being saved. Not everything in the bible is for unbelievers. Why? To make them realize they need Jesus to enjoy the benefits! If someone asks you why can’t you pray Psalm 91 over me? You simply tell them this is for those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, I can pray for you to receive Christ right now and then you too can pray this Psalm. Would you like to do that now? It’s that simple Erika. Guess what? At the end of the day it will be their choice. Free will. If you have further questions, talk to your pastor about this. Here’s an article on salvation https://www.missionariesofprayer.org/2016/05/way-to-salvation-how-to-get-saved/ -
Good question Ken, imagine the cross of Christ being in the middle.
Here is a picture —Old Testament—>> T <<——New Testament—— When we read Hebrews 11 we see that all in the Old Testament died in faith looking towards the promised Messiah. The New Testament and until today look back at the cross because it has already happened. So, yes it refers to those who have died in faith looking to the Messiah who we now know is Jesus Christ. Psalm 22 talks about Christ, Isaiah 53 talks about Christ, Micah 5:2 talks about Christ and He had not yet walked the earth. These are all prophetic scriptures that we have now seen fulfilled. -
Hi Jaqueline, sorry to hear about your daughter. You need to take her into a church that does deliverance or visit the church yourself and have the team come to your house and administer the deliverance. This is what you need to do. Praying for you here is not enough you need someone there with you. Blessings

Hi Kristin, no one is saying God doesn’t love your family and loved ones who are unsaved. But it is clear this Psalm is not for them. Just read the words and you can see that right away. You are saved so you can pray for them. That’s it. This is not complicated. Ask God to cover them in protection. But more importantly it is best for you to pray fervently for their salvation. Blessings

You said the operative word – Believers – Salvation was accredited to Abraham based on his faith and belief in the coming Messiah. This is pointing to the cross because our Lord and Savior had not yet entered the world in the flesh. So yes, everyone prior to the Risen King were able to partake in it. Now that we already know that the King is Jesus, that is what a believer is. These are what I am referring to as Christians. So, yes Messianic Jews are also welcome. There is only One name by which we are saved and that is Jesus. Blessings

Vilma, dreams are symbolic most of the time. Very few people have literal dreams. So you seeing satan shooting Jesus is not literal this is symbolic. We have a section on the site for dream interpretation and you can put the dreams there and we will help you to interpret them. You should continue to pray and ask God for Him to give you clear direction on your purpose.
