Prophetic Word – New Levels of Power, Authority and Strength

This prophetic word is titled New Levels of Power, Authority and Strength.

Who is this word for?  Everyone.

As you are reading this post, as a matter of fact before you start reading, ask the Holy Spirit to give you the ability to see what you are lacking so that you can ASK correctly for what you need.  I’m not going to spell everything out for you, you need to be aware of where you are in the Lord so that you know what to ask for based on what you need.  Only you can do that.

The gems will be dropping hard and fast so you need to pick them up as you spot them.

This is such a powerful word from the Lord for us.  He pointed out to me that in this season He is moving many of you to into New Levels of Power, Authority and Strength.

***Please note that you can be given one, or two or all three of them.  These are all different and I am going to point out the differences.  There’s a possibility you may have one of these already and He may give you another or the two remaining.

When the Lord told me that He was giving this to us in this season I asked Him to outline to me how it works, how do we get this and how would we even I know if we have it.

I saw a book, one of the invisible books, on one page I saw POWER, then on the opposite page I saw AUTHORITY and then in the binding (the center of the book) I saw STRENGTH.  What was funny is He showed it to me right to left which is how you read Hebrew, I’m just now realizing this.  These will appear to overlap in some areas but that is because they work together.  They are 3 separate things. He wants you to have all of these but the truth is that we generally get them at different levels and in varying degrees at different stages in our walk.

Power

Power –  Greek Strong’s 1411 – Dunamis: Power, strength, ability, might, miracle. 

1. You need power to operate in the gift of miracles.

2. It is an endowment of the Holy Spirit that comes over you to perform a task and to have particular abilities for what you are facing or what you need in that moment.

Deuteronomy 8:17-18

¹⁷ You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” ¹⁸ But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms His covenant, which He swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Some versions say power instead of ability, but notice it clearly says do not for one second think that it is you that is doing it.

Then I asked the Lord how do we get this Power?

He said to me..  “Pray for it, Ask for it, Wait for it.”

This is the power to get wealth, prosperity, perform miracles and have supernatural might like Samson.

Same instructions He gave the disciples before He left them Acts 1:4-5

And, as they listened and followed the instructions, HE, the Holy Spirit came and gave them what they were waiting for…the Power they needed to get the job done.

This Power has Purpose …to fulfill His purpose in your life on the earth.

Then I saw in the spirit a crown, made of fire. It was at this moment that I realized that this crown is a crown of Power.  I don’t think I knew this before.

Then I understood that in the upper-room when the Holy Spirit came and rested upon their heads with the flames those were actually crowns of power made from fire that they received.

Oh Glory!

Acts 2:2-4

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. ³ They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. ⁴ All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Then they went out and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ winning many to the Lord.  They didn’t go home and sit on their sofas and wondered why nothing was happening, NO!  They went out and worked.

You will never know that you have it until you USE it!  This Power is activated through service.

The Lord says…“This Power works by submission to the Holy Spirit”

Yes! You don’t have access to this power without submission to the Holy Spirit.  Then He reminded me of Simon the sorcerer who wanted the power without submission. (Acts 8:9-14). He wanted the Power but he wanted it for his own glory not for the Lord, this is why it was never given to him.

Koach – Hebrew Strong’s 3581 Strength, power, might, ability, force

In ancient Israelite culture, strength and power were highly valued attributes, often associated with leadership and divine favor. Physical strength was essential for survival, warfare, and labor. The concept of “koach” also extended to the spiritual realm, where it was seen as a gift from God enabling individuals to fulfill their divine calling. The Israelites recognized that true strength came from God, who empowered them to overcome their enemies and achieve victory.

So, the Lord is saying in this season He is giving some of you POWER.  Pray for it, ask for it, wait for it.

Authority

Authority  – Greek Strong’s 1849 – Exousia: Authority, power, right, jurisdiction.

The Greek word “exousia” primarily denotes the concept of authority or power. It is used in the New Testament to describe the power or right to act, command, or control. This authority can be inherent, as in the divine authority of God, or delegated, as in the authority given to individuals or institutions. “Exousia” encompasses both the right to exercise power and the power itself.

In the Greco-Roman world, authority was a significant concept, often associated with political and social structures. Authority was exercised by rulers, military leaders, and religious figures. In Jewish thought, authority was closely linked to divine mandate and the law. The New Testament reflects these cultural understandings, emphasizing the ultimate authority of God and the delegated authority given to Jesus Christ and His followers.

Matthew 28:16-20

¹⁶ Then the eleven disciples left for Galilee, going to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. ¹⁷ When they saw Him, they worshiped Him—but some of them doubted!

¹⁸ Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. ²⁰ Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

So Christ has all authority in the heavens and in the earth and He gave authority to us here on earth to make disciples of men.

Notice that one of higher authority can delegate authority to those under them.  Think of this as the President that can use his authority (not power) to delegate authority to others such as his cabinet members and appointees.  Thereby giving them the authority to act on his behalf.

Jesus is the only One with the authority to grant eternal life to anyone

John 17:2

² For You have given Him authority over everyone. He gives eternal life to each one you have given Him.

In the Old Testament the word authority is Dominion  – Hebrew Strong’s 3533 – kabash: To subdue, bring into bondage, subject, force, keep under, bring into subjection, to tread down, negatively, to disregard, positively, to conquer, subjugate, violate

 

Matthew 10:1

10 Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness.

 

Luke 10:19-20

¹⁹ Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. ²⁰ But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven.”

In the realm of the spirit, authority is understood.  In the unseen realm they are well aware of the authority of each person or entity.  And, much like in the natural those in higher authority in the realm of the spirit are under subjection of those at a lower level.

When we put on the armor of God it stands as a defense against all levels of spiritual authority of darkness.

Ephesians 6:12-13

¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

It says that the armor is for us to stand, not charge forward and defeat because you have to keep in mind that some of these entities may be at a higher level of authority that you are able to handle.  Yes, that is what I said.  Jesus gave you authority over the ones here on earth, but there are some that you cannot defeat because you are not at that level.  And if you try to take them on, you will run into some problems. I highlighted all the different levels in the text so that you know they are not all the same.

The angels understand this concept because in Daniel 10:13 the messenger angel couldn’t get through because he was being detained by the Prince of Persia.  So Michael, a Chief Prince, had to come to remove the Prince of Persia.

However, this same Michael when he was in dispute with the devil himself, he had to use the name of the One with a higher authority, Jesus!

There are levels to this thing.  Hence…

Authority is granted in stages because there are different levels of authority.

You’ve heard the saying different level, different devil.

Then I asked the Lord how do we get authority?

He said…

“Your process unlocks your authority”

Come on somebody!  Then David came to mind, even though he was anointed king as teenager he did not step into the authority of this position for 17 more years after he had gone through his PROCESS.

It is not something you ask for but something that is being delegated to you by One in higher authority after you have completed your process.

Hence, it is granted in levels.

Joseph had a dream but he had to go through a PROCESS before he was able to step into the authority that he saw in that dream.

You cannot fake a process, it is something you go through.  Being stubborn and not wanting to go through the process only delays the authority that God has already ordained for you to have!

You see, He already knows the authority that has been designated to you but you are the one that has no idea what it is.  I am convinced!!!!

The most peculiar thing about the process is that you have no idea when it ends BUT at the end, you officially unlock authority over that level.

The Lord was also showing me that there needs to be a level of discipline of SPEECH…Your words! and also a respect for authority!  Whew!  You can’t be disrespecting the person who is at a higher level authority than you are!  My goodness!  Just think about Saul and David.  Think about Moses and Joshua.   Think about Elijah and Elisha.  How are you going to disrespect the shoes that you may someday walk in?  We lead by example.  You disrespect them, you are the one to be disrespected next.

I asked the Lord how we would know and then He reminded me of 2 dreams that I had the clearly showed that I was at another level of authority.  Without all the details, years ago I dreamt that I went to visit someone’s house and when I opened the gate to enter their yard it was like I could see through the house and all the demons jumped over the back fence and immediately ran away.

They were running from me.  I knew this but it wasn’t until I was preparing this word that I realized that this was how the Lord chose to tell me.  Pity, I’m just now getting the message. LOL

Deuteronomy 28:7

“The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.”

You won’t even have to tell them to go, they’ll just go because you arrived there.

I’m talking about the ones who you have authority over <<<<this part.

But also keep in mind that authority is also tied to location.  The Israelites had ZERO authority in Egypt but as soon as they arrived at the Promised Land, lo and behold…they have authority!

Sometimes you can have NO authority in an area and GOD Himself can grant it TO JUST YOU.

I know, it makes no sense…..just you!  Case in point, Joseph.  He was the only one with authority in Egypt, none of his other family members, just him.  This authority was delegated to him by GOD.  Yes, our Lord ordained it years before the Pharaoh.  The Pharaoh was only following through with what God had already ordained.

Hence, you cannot step into someone else’s territory and think that you have any authority there, UNLESS God told you to do it.

The next dream was over a decade later I entered a house and there I was hiding behind a sofa because I knew enemies were in the house and I didn’t want them to see me.  But they saw me and one of them said something to the effect of “Oh,  Hi Nicole, we’re here because you took out our leader (strongman)” and they were basically trying to reestablish with another type of a leader.  They didn’t attack me, they respected me and knew that they couldn’t touch me.  Why?  Because I have authority over them.  It wasn’t until I was preparing for this post that I realized that at that moment I could’ve told them, you’re not reestablishing anything pack up and leave this house.  But I didn’t, because I didn’t realize that this was a sign from the Lord for me to know that I had gained another level of authority.

They KNOW who is above them in the realm of the spirit.  You do not need to speak louder, or scream and yell, they know!  I didn’t even know in the dream which is why I was HIDING, LOL. Hey!  Don’t forget that Gideon was also hiding behind the winepress when the Angel came to him and said “What’s up mighty man of valor?” paraphrasing here (Judges 6:12)

I guess you don’t know until God gives you a clue.  Of course, after that dream I did cancel the new leader and that was the end of that!  But I didn’t do it in the dream.

Now for those of you thinking, you talked to the demons???  Well, we weren’t having tea!

Matthew 8:28-32

²⁸ When Jesus arrived on the other side of the lake, in the region of the Gadarenes, two men who were possessed by demons met him. They came out of the tombs and were so violent that no one could go through that area.

²⁹ They began screaming at him, “Why are you interfering with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torture us before God’s appointed time?”

³⁰ There happened to be a large herd of pigs feeding in the distance. ³¹ So the demons begged, “If you cast us out, send us into that herd of pigs.”

³² “All right, go!” Jesus commanded them. So the demons came out of the men and entered the pigs, and the whole herd plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water.

 

They knew Him, they spoke to Him, He spoke to them and they have to do exactly what He says because He has authority over them and they KNOW this.

Acts 19:14-16

Say it… they KNOW, the spiritual realm KNOWS!  You cannot fake spiritual authority!

But again, this thing is in levels so if you attempt to do something and it doesn’t work, don’t despair it’s possible you’re just not at that level yet.  And, only God knows when you are ready for it.

The Lord will show you through dreams and visions when you’ve entered this new level of authority.  I believe if you go back in your dreams over the years you may notice several times when people were running away from you, or they turned their back to you and walked in the opposite direction.  All of this is a sign of them fleeing because of the level of authority that you are at.<<<<this part.

Strength

Strength in the Greek Strong’s 1743 is Endunamoó: To empower, to strengthen, to make strong

The verb ἐνδυναμόω conveys the idea of being infused with strength or power. It is often used in the New Testament to describe the spiritual empowerment that believers receive from God. This empowerment enables them to endure trials, perform their duties, and live out their faith effectively. The term emphasizes the source of strength as being external, coming from God, rather than from human effort.

In the Greco-Roman world, strength and power were highly valued, often associated with physical prowess or political influence. However, the New Testament redefines true strength as spiritual empowerment from God. This divine empowerment was crucial for early Christians who faced persecution and needed inner strength to remain faithful. The concept of being empowered by a divine source would have been countercultural, as it shifted the focus from human ability to divine enablement.

Chazaq – Hebrew Strong’s 2388 – To be strong, to strengthen, to harden, to prevail, to take hold of

The Hebrew verb “chazaq” primarily conveys the idea of strength and power. It is used to describe physical strength, emotional fortitude, and spiritual resilience. The term can imply the act of strengthening oneself or others, prevailing in battle or conflict, and taking firm hold of something. It is often used in contexts where encouragement, support, or reinforcement is needed.

In ancient Israelite culture, strength was a highly valued trait, both physically and spiritually. The concept of “chazaq” was integral to the Israelites’ understanding of their relationship with God, who was seen as the ultimate source of strength. This term is frequently used in the context of military endeavors, personal trials, and spiritual exhortations, reflecting the importance of resilience and divine support in the face of adversity.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

This is a supernatural enablement of strength that comes from the Lord.

I asked Him how do we get this?

He said “Ask, ask, ask!’

It is a simple as that, just ask Him and He’ll give it to you.  This strength is what you need to go through the rough seasons of life. The things you cannot go over, around, under, but you have to go through.  I’ve had seasons of going through.  They are not easy but God says that He’s giving strength to those of you who need it if you will just ask Him.

Last year was a year when many needed this strength and I believe this year many of us are going to be needing this as well. Ask.

Remember you won’t know if you have any of this until you use it.

In closing, the Lord is giving new levels of power, authority and strength. And, I don’t know about you but I am going to receive it in Jesus’ name, Amen!
