Thanksgiving Prayer
Father God, first we want to thank you for all that you have done in sending your Son, Jesus, to die for the sins of the world. For you so loved the world that you gave your only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish but shall have everlasting life.  Thank you for the gift of salvation and for saving us from eternal damnation. Thank you for family and friends.  Thank you for provisions.  Thank you for our health.  Thank you for a roof over our head.  Thank you for the bed we sleep in.  Thank you for water and for food.  Thank you for sight to see the beauty that you have created around us.  Thank you for our sense of taste.  Thank you for the gift of hearing so that we can hear everything in nature around us.  God we choose to focus on all the little things that you’ve given us.  We choose to be content this day with what we have. We are grateful whether we are abase or abounding.  We thank you for life.  We thank you for freedom. Thank you that you shower your favor upon us.  Thank you for your mercy that is renewed every morning.  Thank you for your grace which is sufficient to guide us through our darkest hour.  Thank you that we shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from your mouth.  Thank you, in Jesus name, Amen.
