Hi Myra, you are correct the text does mention both trees in Genesis 2:9 trees but this was BEFORE Adam entered the picture, then after when God spoke about the tree He only mentioned one to Adam, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17). If we are going to go straight scripture, these are the facts. How I see it, is how I wrote it based on the facts. But scripture sometimes can say different things to different people based on their perspective and personal revelation which as it turns out each person can receive a different revelation on the exact same scripture. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. It is like the image of a 9 on the ground (I don’t know if you’ve seen this before, one person is at the top and the other is at the bottom arguing whether it is a 6 or a 9. Hi Vitoria, that is a good question. First, you have to repent for the sin, and stop it completely. God is holy and righteous so that is what He responds to which is why the repentance is key. Once you have done this ask Him to restore what was lost and see where it goes from there. However, if you repent and your restoration is in process be sure to continue on the path of righteousness; otherwise, as soon as you fall away the enemy is coming right back to take it. He uses our sins to accuse us in the courts of heaven. He is like that kid from your childhood that couldn’t wait to run and tell your parents every time you mess up so that you get in trouble. Search the site for familiar spirits and monitoring spirits and pray those prayers so that you cut off the ones that are there watching your every move. If it is operating through a person it is easy to pick up on it because these are the ones that are very inquisitive they ask many questions about what you’re doing, where you’re going, who’s going with you and they get upset if you do anything and they don’t know about it. LOL, yep could be fiction Lijo. The bible doesn’t specifically say it but I found it in a few places when I was looking around. He lived 140 years so it is possible but for sure not completely verified. The Bible provides evidence that it is much longer than 7 days. Job 2:13 his friends mourned with him for 7 days so we know it is much longer than that. Then 7:1-5 he says that he had months of suffering where he couldn’t sleep and it dragged on after that as well. When you look at the back and forth between his friends and God plus the fact that he got sick and had sores on his body, that needs more time for all of the to happen. Then finally in Job 29:2, he says that he longs for years gone by when God took care of him. Years, so we know that this is in the years at this point. Hence, I believe given the length of his years that it is possible that he suffered for 60-80 years.
