This prophetic word for February 2026 and it is titled A Bewitching Spirit.
Who is this word for? Everyone. Let me qualify this by saying not everyone is battling a bewitching spirit but it is good for you to know how to identify it. And what you should do if you come across it.

To get the full context Paul confronts Peter, yes one believe in Christ confronting another believer in Christ. Galatians 2:11-21.
Then in Galatians 3 we see that Paul goes to confront the church about it and admonish them. You can read Galatians 3
So when he goes to them this is how he starts out is conversation with them:
Galatians 3:1-3
You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. 2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?
To quickly tell you what he was referring to, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was already preached to them. They already knew that you get saved by grace, through faith and it a gift of God, not of works so that no one cast boast that they somehow earned salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9). You can’t earn salvation, it is a free gift. So that there is nothing for you to do except receive Christ as your Savior and put your full trust and faith in Him to be saved. That is it. Nothing more.
Well, these were Christians and they received the message and got saved and were going along just fine until one day they started treating the gentile believers a little differently because they were uncircumcised and treated the Jewish Christians better (circumcised) as if they would need to be circumcised to be fully accepted by Christ.
In other words receiving Christ wasn’t enough now they have to follow through on all the Jewish laws in order to be “fully” saved. The truth is, all of them knew this is not true but for some reason they were still acting like that.
Hence, Paul said “You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you”. Other versions say it like this “who has cast an evil spell on you?”
That is pretty strong language don’t you think? In “You guys know better what is wrong with you?” This is in essence what he is saying but instead he is saying that this was some kind of witchcraft, you’re under a spell and this is why you are believing this thing that you already know is not true.
That is the bewitching spirit. You believe something and if you were to look at it from the outside looking in, you would realize that this cannot be true because you know better. You already know the truth. So why would you believe that other than you are under a evil spell.

Now you understand how it shows up, please know that while it is happening to you, you have no idea that it is happening until someone points it out to you. At that moment, you kind of snap out of it and realize that there is no way what you are believing is true. But it has to take someone else sometimes to counter it with the truth for you to snap out of the spell.
There are times when you will even realize it when God starts to remind you of His Truth. His word, the Bible.
I’m bringing this up because I’ve seen this before and I wrote about it in details in this post which was for Christian Singles. We just concluded our fast and one of the participants wrote me a note with how much the fast helped her but she said this one statement in her email that jumped out at me and I had to ask more questions.
By the way, I have her permission to share this with you.
Here is what she said the Lord showed her…
He also showed me in a dream and the part I remembered was that I was living with this man and I wake up in shock and He told me that’s your husband. I was in perfect peace about it. He said I will confirm it to you twice and next day He did exactly that. He told me begin to declare this marriage and all and funny thing I had an encounter in the throne room where myself and this man got married and Jesus is the one who was joining us. He said as it is in heaven so shall it be on earth. It’s a done deal! No powers of hell can do anything! This kingdom marriage has a huge assignment. Next few months I see on YouTube the guy is engaged to other woman! I was at peace funny thing but you know what I did, I dropped that ball, locked that promise in a closet and threw away the key. I stopped declaring and all. This was part of the affirmations I had to make and realign myself back with God’s promise. I had to ask if this marriage was still valid and He said yes but I delayed it….🤦
I read that part and I thought, wait she’s affirming that she is going to marry someone else who just announced that they are engaged to someone else. What am I missing here?
So I proceeded to ask questions just about this portion of the email. She is married. She’s been watching this man on YouTube, they are not even living in the same country. He has never spoken to her so I asked her to tell me how this all came about. Here is how it happened…
So I don’t know him and he doesn’t know me.
Now, if you read this and you are thinking to yourself this will never happen to me, I want to say this to you. This woman is saved, she reads her bible, she has a relationship with the Lord, she is A STRONG CHRISTIAN. When I saw this spirit attack others in the past they were strong Christians. So, if you think this can’t happen to you, think again!
She believed this. This is a bewitching spirit. Because we just finished the fast on strongholds and the strongman God made sure that I saw it!!!!
Everything else in her email was perfectly fine, except for this one piece.
It looks like this, you already know the truth but for some reason you are drawn into something and you are not able to see that what you are believing doesn’t even line up with the scriptures.
Then I had to slowly and gently pull her out of it (Jude 1:23) covering myself before I even attempted to help her, I said to her, you do know that the bible says the Lord hates divorce, right? (Malachi 2:16). And, you’ve never spoken to this man so he doesn’t know that you exist. If he marries the woman he is engaged to, the one he chose to be with, God would have to cause all 4 of you to go through a divorce so that the 2 of you could be together, does that sound like something God would do?
That’s when she jerked out of the spell. It is when it opposes the word of God that you realize it cannot be God.
Then, I prayed for her and told her to bind and cast out the bewitching spirit, a spirit of deception and a lying spirit. I just went after all of them…just in case.
She immediately saw that it couldn’t be God.
Let me say this, you can’t enter into a war of words with people over things. Your best option in these scenarios is just to show it by the scriptures to be incorrect. Because it is only God’s word that does this…
2 Timothy 3:16
Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action),
Stop arguing with people. Use the word.
Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Isaiah 55:10-11
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
So we don’t argue we share the scripture and gently correct. Because she was a strong Christian who reads her bible she immediately saw that it couldn’t be God.
Even if they were in the same country. Even if these are two single people, he has never contacted her by phone, email, text, to say that he even has an any interest in her. It can only go on for so long before you have to acknowledge that some kind of bewitching is happening.
Then we go into the next question from her which I knew was coming before she even asked it.
What about all the other promises that “God” made to me? Are those wrong too?
Based on past experience, I’ve only seen this thing attach itself to “one thing”. It chooses something that will send you completely off track and outside to the will of God for your life. Imagine if she followed through what would get destroyed, her marriage, her children, she’s into witchcraft because she’s praying for something outside of the will of God, and sending witchcraft to that man and his fiancé, she becomes obsessed and cannot focus on the Lord or enter into His rest, she could possibly pick up herself and move to where this man is. And now she would be locationally off track, out of the territory assigned to her by the Lord. All of the other promises of God would be put on hold because of this one thing.
All of that from one thing.
So no, it doesn’t mean the bewitching spirit is attached to everything you’re believing for, just that one thing. In the past when I have seen this it is not affecting only one person, but and entire group of people. In other words, she is not the only one experiencing this. There are many many other people that think exactly as she is thinking about that same man. All of them are now practicing witches directing the witchcraft to that one man.
She is not the only one. The scripture didn’t say oh you foolish Galatian man/woman, it says Galatians…more than one.
I don’t believe this is affecting the other promises God made her or that all the other promises are now “fake”. I told her, just pay attention to see if they all line up with scriptures. If they align with the word of God, which she knows, then there is nothing to worry about. If they are not off shoots of that one promise that was bewitchment, then they are fine. In other words, if God gave you children through marriage with this man obviously those children don’t exist because it was connected to the bewitchment.
Other people that I’ve helped by pulling them out of the spell, once they separate themselves from the situation, their life goes right back on track. Of course, much like the scripture said they feel “foolish” because they know better. But a witchcraft spell, is a witchcraft spell, it is like someone hypnotize you.
The question now is, who cast the spell?
It could be the person on the video, yes, this is possible. But I can also tell you from the two instances where I saw this, it was not the person… there were witches involved. Actual witches that entered the congregation and put the people under a spell. To destroy the church, cause it to shut down, destroy people’s lives. So they all go off track, obsessed over this one thing that is not true, start operating in witchcraft because they are now all preying for this one thing centered around this one object. Imagine having 50 people preying towards you something that is completely FALSE. And, they don’t even know it! There lives are now off track, the will of God for them is on hold until they come into alignment with God and repent. You may be thinking why do they need to repent since something was done to them, because they prayed witchcraft prayers that was destructive to someone else’s life.
The Galatians started treating gentiles like they were 2nd class citizens! Of course you have to repent for it.
But not only that, what happens to the one person who they are now all directing their witchcraft towards? If that man or woman of God is not aware this is happening and they don’t repent often, put on the Armor of God, break spells and witchcraft off themselves and their ministries often, they are now in a state of confusion. God tells them go right, and because they never wrote down the instructions, they go left. Open a church in New York, but there they are in Chicago, amnesia! Marry this person, but there they are confused, I think it’s this person, no scratch that, it has to be this one, oh perhaps it is him because everybody like him. Complete confusion. When God already clearly said what was supposed to happen. There is no confusion on what the Lord says. They know better, but they still go against what God said. Witchcraft. Now they enter delay. God tells them move ahead with this, but they start coming up with all kinds of reasoning as to why they can’t do it. Let me finish this first, I’ll do it after this is happens, I’m just waiting for this so that I can move forward.
The bewitching spirit causes delays. While you are battling it, the clock is ticking and you are not realizing how much time is passing while you’re sitting there trying to “figure it out” or “waiting on God”. When God already told you what to do.
Some of the promises of God work with timing, the door opens you seize the opportunity, the door closes the opportunity has passed. You can lose things as a result of missing the timing.
Again, all other areas under the promises of God are moving along just fine. So it becomes very difficult for you to detect that it is in this one thing where you are so off track. Bewitching spirit.
I’m going to give you the prayer to break it however, I need you to keep this in mind, once that witches realize the spell is off, they will try to cast another one. God sent me into a congregation once and I saw it in the spirit as the witch was doing it. I immediately destroyed the snakes she released to bewitch the people. The witch immediately got up and left the room because it was a failed mission. Now she has to regroup because she realizes she was fighting one intercessor she has to make sure she has more from her coven when she returns. Then I saw her in the spirit gather the other witches and they were coming back and now they have to make sure I am not there when they return. So now they start casting spell putting obstacles to keep me out of the building. So more of them came the 2nd time around but the issue is that this is not my church, I was visiting so I had to tell the church leadership. But did they listen? …more spell work.
Of course when I warned them about it, this is what they heard…
If you ever see a pattern repeating itself, stop and ask yourself what am I missing? Why is this happening again?
You can see growth in many areas of your life but still stagnation and delay regarding this one thing. Because that is what the witches are after.
This is why I know it doesn’t affect all areas of you life, just one area. You fix it, it’s gone. If you have a church and you see this happening, break the bewitching spirit and just make sure you have a strong intercession team breaking all the spells, curses, hex, incantations, sorcery, witchcraft, dark arts, diabolical spirits, evil altars erected against your ministry, your marriage, your finances, your kids, your spiritual life, your future, your destiny…..keep going…..list them all. DAILY. Don’t give them place to land.
You can’t just keep getting rid of people when they get out of line. You have to look at the pattern, what do all these people have in common? That will show you the area the spell is targeting. Then you have to break the spell. If you break it, everything seems to be fine and you notice it started again, the witch came back! Or, they are a part of your congregation and you need the Lord to show you who it is. Because until you shut this down, it is rinse and repeat for you. You keep growing, losing people, grow again, lose more people, grow again, lose more people….and it is always for the same reason. Pay attention.
Prayer to break the bewitching spirit (read it, once you agree pray it aloud)
I bind up and cast out the bewitching spirit in the name of Jesus. I bind up and cast out a spirit of deception in the name of Jesus. I bind up and cast out a lying spirit in the name of Jesus. I repent, Lord, for coming to agreement with the things that are against Your word. I repent for coming into agreement with the things that are contrary to what You have clearly told me. I repent for coming into agreement with my action and my speech with the things that are not in alignment with Your will. I ask today that Your Holy Spirit guide and lead me back into Your truth, back into alignment with the Holy Scriptures, back into alignment with the destiny and purpose the You have laid out for my life and written in the scrolls of heaven. I ask for my mind to come into alignment with the mind of Christ and that I have clarity today to move forward in the direction that You’ve asked me to, I ask for Your grace to follow through with the difficult things that You will ask me to do. I bind and cast out pride and fear and loose humility, obedience to Your word, both the rhema and logos word, I loose power, love and a sound mind. I pray that I am perfected in Your love so that I will move without fear in the direction where You are leading me. Holy Spirit, give me grace and self control never to follow after my own fleshly desires. I cast down any idols that exalted themselves in my heart above Your word. I cast out the lie that everything You give me to do with be easy, and recognize that just as You asked Joshua to be strong and courageous there are things that will require strength and courage to enter in to that promise. I cast down the lie that I am able to enter the Kingdom of heaven without pain, suffering and persecution and recognize that it may be necessary before entering my Eternal home that I will have to go through some suffering, pain and persecution. I thank you Lord for Grace to walk through each and every day with Your Truth and I thank You for the abundance of blessings that come to me when I obey Your word. Lord give me a desire to read the Bible and an obedient heart to start reading it , in Jesus name. Jehovah Rohi the One who sees and knows all. The Omniscient One who knows every heart You are the only one who knows where these attacks came from. You know every witch and every warlock I am asking You to do is to bring them into repentance. Bring them to their knees so that they will declare that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. Lord do the one thing that You know will bring them to their knees. The one thing that will make them lose hope in their sorcery. The one thing that will cause the entire coven to crumble. The one thing that will tear down the pride and humble them. The one thing that will cause them to crumble to their knees in prayer and cry out to You for mercy. The one thing that was fashioned specifically, individually targeted for each of them to bring about to repentance. The one thing that will cause them to change course quickly, making a U-Turn into Your presence. The one thing that they will know for sure YOU did it! The one thing. And if they attempt to regroup and try it again, do it again Lord! Bring them to their knees with the one thing. For every and all new witch and warlock that raise up after each group falls away, give them the same response from heaven. Give them the same cup to drink until they come to repentance. Let them ponder the consequences of coming against Your children until they drop to their knees in repentance. Lord for the lost time, I ask you to restore those years to me and accelerate Your promises in my life to make up for the delays, in Jesus name, Amen!
Listen, for those of you who feel like you need to “pet and powder” a witch, go ahead. Pet and powder is slang for you seeing a very dangerous situation and instead of addressing it as a danger, you are ready to treat if like a poor abandoned dog, you wash it, trim its nails, brush the teeth, pet it, apply powder to it, let it cuddle up with you because after all if just a poor little dog. Until after all the pet and powdering you realize that dog wasn’t looking for you to do all of that, it has rabies and it bit you and now you’re sick!
There is one thing for you to be around a witch, know it is a witch and show her love hoping to reach her for Christ. It is a whole other story when you see a witch that is in action, casting spells to destroy lives and you are just passive, going to pet and powder her with love. NO SIR, NO MA’AM. Immediately Neutralize the danger!!
Yes, you can pray this over others as well but keep in mind that if you are praying this over someone else, you need to take it a step further and gently and slowly correct them. If you don’t point it out, they’ll go right back there and the whole cycle repeats itself.
The lady who sent the email said that she realized after prayer that she could no longer watch videos on YouTube without covering herself under the blood of Jesus before doing so. That is how she will in the future protect herself from the bewitching spirit.

After reading your email this morning on the spirit of bewitching I want to share something that I observed with a friend that got me puzzled.
About two years ago my friend who is a servant of the most high got a dream about a guy in her church that she said the Lord showed her that he is her husband , she told her Pastor of what the Lord showed her.The Pastor told her the Lord had showed her also that this young man is her husband. The Young man never got that revelation.
The Pastor and the young man’s mother , my friend’s mother decided that they should get married . The young man agreed and also my friend.
They did a small wedding about nine persons were there. After they got married and went on their honeymoon together she told me her husband cried and told her he was forced and that he doesn’t feel that intimacy with her. She was heartbroken because she really loved this person and that the Lord told her this was her husband and got confirmation from her Pastor.
Months in their relationship it was just chaotic , the guy wouldn’t sleep in the same bed with her , he would hide is wedding band when going out, no romance no intimacy. Her husband kept on telling her he does not have the same feelings she has for him. She got tired and left his house and returned to her mother’s home.
She told the pastor time to time what was happening but she encouraged her to stay eventually she left.
The husband had moved on with different woman and stopped going to the church. My friend on the other hand moved on with someone else.
About a year now she is single and more rooted in the Lord. She keeps telling me the Lord shows her in the realm of the spirit this man is still her husband, sometimes I wonder though because the guy is out there living his life with other women and they are not in any form of communication . She told me she heard he is always in an out of relationships it’s like he can’t settle.
I must add that their marriage was not registered and they don’t have a marriage certificate as in the process of getting those they parted ways.
My friend today keeps saying he is her husband and time to time tells me she sees visions of herself and him together. she is waiting for the young man to return to her. She deeply still in-love with this person. She wants a family but is waiting for his return .
My question were they even married in the first place?
I do love my friend but I am worried for her, after reading your post this morning it’s all confirming what I have been thinking for a while now was this from God Almighty. But here is what puzzles me the most she told me she saw it, her Pastor saw it in the realms but the young man never told her he got that revelation that she is his wife.I would love if you could add something to this story. Amen, thank for this word, and such beautiful and wise prayer: that they crumble to their knees and repent. Your wisdom, Father, is beyond human comprehension, and Your weapons, mighty, in Jesus name. “Lord for the lost time, I ask you to restore those years to me and accelerate Your promises in my life to make up for the delays, in Jesus name, Amen!”
