This prophetic word is for September 2024 – Recover from the Thief 7×7=49
Who is this word for? Those who feel like you’ve had things stolen from you, repeatedly. You are going to LOVE this word! The thief can show up in dreams in many ways – you can’t find your car keys, your can’t find where you parked your car, your car is missing, other items are missing, you can’t find your purse, people breaking into your house, things being stolen in dreams, you lost your wallet, lost your purse, people moving your furniture out of your house.
Please know that if you have these types of dreams, you need to cancel them as soon as you wake up. Do not just brush it off. God is merely warning you of what is about to happen in your life. If you cancel it after you dream it, then it doesn’t happen. If you didn’t cancel it, shortly you will start to notice it manifesting in the natural. You will just start to lose things. You can’t seem to hold on to money. You are always overpaying for stuff. Everything is broken at the same time and you need to pay to repair it. You lose your job and on and on. All of this usually comes after dreams where God was already warning you that a thief is lurking.
Simple prayer: I cancel every and all assignments of the thief and the robber against my life in the name of Jesus and demand a 7 fold repayment in Jesus name, Amen.
Ok, but I prayed it and I dreamt it again the following night..cancel it again. And, then I dreamt it a week later…cancel it again! At the bottom of this post I will share the permanent solution if you are willing to do the work, it will stop PERMANENTLY! If you don’t want to do the work, get used to canceling.
Kingdom Mathematics to be used against the thief and the robbing spirits
I’ve already told you about the thief from Part 1 and Part 2 in the word on Transitions. We already prayed the prayer to get what was stolen returned which is at the bottom of Transitions Part 2.
But there was something within me that felt like the enemy might try to double back on some of those things and steal them again. Have you ever felt that? You prayed for something to be returned but in your spirit you feel like the enemy came back for that same thing again?
That, is what this post is about. I’m about to share some strategies with you about this very thing.
I was sitting with the Lord and I said to Him, what happens when the enemy tries to come back and resteal (if there is such a word) what he already stole that you got back? You know, he had to give back seven times what he stole and then he comes and he steals that again?
I said to him why would he be able to do it again, in the first place? And how do I stop that from happening? I have to get my seven fold back, right?
The Lord said to me “You’re not getting back 7 fold, you’re getting back 49. 7 multiplied by 7….49”
Let me explain how this works, if you have ONE thing and the thief steals its you’re getting back SEVEN, according to Proverbs 6:30-31
Men do not despise a thief, if he steal To satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house.
However, if he resteal the 7 from you that you just got restored, you’re not getting back 7, now he owes you 7×7, FORTY NINE!!! Because he has to give you seven fold return on the seven he took!
Kingdom Mathematics associated with the thief
If he retakes the 49, it is now 49×7= 343, if he takes 343 then he now owes you 343×7= 2,401. And we could keep going all day long until WE BANKRUPT THE THIEF!!! The more he keeps coming is the more we demand and we keep multiplying the numbers if he took the same thing, he’s got to repay it for however many times he tried to steal it.
PRAY THAT!!!
This is the Kingdom Mathematics that is associated with the thief and the robber! LOL. Eventually he’s going to learn that he can’t mess with you because it will mean total bankruptcy and he’ll go find another victim.
YEP! That is how it works according to the Lord. So, now you know how you ought to pray. Pray right! You get what you asked for in prayer! Now make sure you ask for 49!
I said to the Lord, you’re going to have to give me some scripture to back this up! Immediately I was told to read the story of David being robbed at Ziklag. I’m sharing it below in The Message and I will interject and break it down for you so you can follow the story as there are some strategies that we can glean from this as well.
To begin with I need to give you a little bit of a background story so you can understand what was happening before we read the scripture. David was not yet king. He was still on the run from King Saul and he made a pact with the Phillistines and they gave him Ziklag which is on the border of the Phillistine territory. On this map, the Kingdom of Judah is to the right of Ziklag between the Dead Sea and Phillistine territory.
The Phillistines were getting ready to march and attack King Saul, David left Ziklag with all of this men to go with the Phillistines to fight King Saul. When he got there the Phillistine army officer said he didn’t want David and his men fighting with them because he thought it was some kind of plot and perhaps David might switch sides in the middle of the war and attack them. Seems like a sound assessment, right? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer is the saying but I can understand why the Phillistines thought they didn’t want David and his men fighting alongside them.
All of this was God’s doing and you’ll find out why shortly. All of this happened in the previous chapter 1 Samuel 29. Since David was no longer needed to fight, he and his men returned home to Ziklag and here is where were pick up the scriptures…
1 Samuel 30
1-3 Three days later, David and his men arrived back in Ziklag. Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They tore Ziklag to pieces and then burned it down. They captured all the women, young and old. They didn’t kill anyone, but drove them like a herd of cattle. By the time David and his men entered the village, it had been burned to the ground, and their wives, sons, and daughters all taken prisoner.
4-6 David and his men burst out in loud wails—wept and wept until they were exhausted with weeping. David’s two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail widow of Nabal of Carmel, had been taken prisoner along with the rest. And suddenly David was in even worse trouble. There was talk among the men, bitter over the loss of their families, of stoning him.
~~~~~~
Mistake #1 – He took his entire army off to fight the war and left no one behind to watch the camp. As a result the enemy came, plundered and burnt their camp to the ground. When things are valuable to you, you can’t just leave it sitting out in the open. You need to have that thing under lock and key. Guarded. You can’t just be shooting off your mouth telling everybody your business. Some things you have to keep it guarded. Otherwise, you will invite the thief.
~~~~~~~
6-7 David strengthened himself with trust in his God. He ordered Abiathar the priest, son of Ahimelech, “Bring me the Ephod so I can consult God.” Abiathar brought it to David.
8 Then David prayed to God, “Shall I go after these raiders? Can I catch them?”
The answer came, “Go after them! Yes, you’ll catch them! Yes, you’ll make the rescue!”
~~~~~~~
Strategy #1 – Before you decide to go after the enemy make sure you consult with God. Imagine if the Phillistine officer did allow David to go fight with them? He wouldn’t have found out about the theft until after he returned from the war and by then who knows what would’ve happened to the women, the children and the elderly. It happened three days before he arrived home.
~~~~~~~~
9-10 David went, he and the six hundred men with him. They arrived at the Brook Besor, where some of them dropped out. David and four hundred men kept up the pursuit, but two hundred of them were too fatigued to cross the Brook Besor, and stayed there.
~~~~~~~
Strategy #2 – You have to determine who you have on your team. Not everybody can fight with you. That doesn’t mean these people are useless. You can find something for everyone to do. They were just exhausted and needed to rest. David actually gave them a job to do which you’ll see what their job was later.
~~~~~~~
11-12 Some who went on came across an Egyptian in a field and took him to David. They gave him bread and he ate. And he drank some water. They gave him a piece of fig cake and a couple of raisin muffins. Life began to revive in him. He hadn’t eaten or drunk a thing for three days and nights!
13-14 David said to him, “Who do you belong to? Where are you from?”
“I’m an Egyptian slave of an Amalekite,” he said. “My master walked off and left me when I got sick—that was three days ago. We had raided the Negev of the Kerethites, of Judah, and of Caleb. Ziklag we burned.”
15 David asked him, “Can you take us to the raiders?”
“Promise me by God,” he said, “that you won’t kill me or turn me over to my old master, and I’ll take you straight to the raiders.”
~~~~~~~~
Strategy #3 – You must be kind to everyone that you meet. Even if at first they appear to be “the devil himself”, you MUST be KIND. Because you never know why God put that person in your path. The enemy will open his mouth and give you strategies. If David and his men decided to kill this man and discard him (like his Amalekite boss did) then they wouldn’t have gathered really good information that they needed. What was the information they got from him?
1. The exact location of the enemy who robbed them because at this point David had no idea who did it!!! And, he doesn’t need to roam around the land looking for them. A direct path to the enemy.
2. He tells them how far ahead in the journey they were, three days away. Now they have a timeline.
3. He told them how much stolen property they have Negev (1), Judah (2), Caleb (3), Ziklag (4). So now David knows they have stolen property from 4 different regions. I mean, talk about getting the lay of the land.
All because of what? He was KIND to the man. It pays to be kind to people. I don’t care who it is, saints, you should be kind to everyone because you have no clue where that will leave. Even your enemies!!!! The Bible tells us that sometimes we could be entertaining angels unaware! (Hebrews 13:2)
4. Notice how he said they looted everyone but Ziklag they burnt! It was like some kind of personal vendetta against David. That was the only place they burnt. Even that is intel that David needed.
~~~~~~~
16 He led David to them. They were scattered all over the place, eating and drinking, gorging themselves on all the loot they had plundered from Philistia and Judah.
17-20 David pounced. He fought them from before sunrise until evening of the next day. None got away except for four hundred of the younger men who escaped by riding off on camels. David rescued everything the Amalekites had taken. And he rescued his two wives! Nothing and no one was missing—young or old, son or daughter, plunder or whatever. David recovered the whole lot. He herded the sheep and cattle before them, and they all shouted, “David’s plunder!”
21 Then David came to the two hundred who had been too tired to continue with him and had dropped out at the Brook Besor. They came out to welcome David and his band. As he came near he called out, “Success!”
22 But all the mean-spirited men who had marched with David, the rabble element, objected: “They didn’t help in the rescue, they don’t get any of the plunder we recovered. Each man can have his wife and children, but that’s it. Take them and go!”
23-25 “Families don’t do this sort of thing! Oh no, my brothers!” said David as he broke up the argument. “You can’t act this way with what God gave us! God kept us safe. He handed over the raiders who attacked us. Who would ever listen to this kind of talk? The share of the one who stays with the gear is the share of the one who fights—equal shares. Share and share alike!” From that day on, David made that the rule in Israel—and it still is.
~~~~~~~
Strategy #4 – They fought from sunrise until evening the next day. How could those exhausted men handle this? They couldn’t! They would’ve died! This is why they needed to stay behind. David would’ve lost men if they went with him. Hence, you need to assess your team. It is not everyone you take into battle with you.
I’m speaking to the intercessors – it’s not everybody you take into battle with you. Once you recognize someone can’t handle it, you need to leave them behind. It’s dangerous for them, and possibly for you.
If they can’t handle it, what happens is not only are you fighting the enemy but now you’re having to protect them while you’re in battle. Your job has officially become HARDER. Now you can’t focus because you have them there. Access the team before you take them with you. Once you realize they’re compromised, you have to leave them behind. Compromised doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing. They’re compromised because they are now a doorway for the enemy to attack you….they can’t watch your back because they are tired. Work smarter, not harder!
But they had a job to do as well….
Watch the gear!! You see, this ONE statement (1 Samuel 30:25) tells you that David learnt his lesson from Mistake #1, you NEVER leave your stuff behind unprotected!
You know, it is one thing to cry over the mistakes we made in the past. It is a whole other thing to learn from them and ensure they never happen again. David learnt and as such implemented a new strategy
Strategy #5 – Never leave the home front unprotected. He left the tired men with the gear because he realized that while they didn’t have much left he was not about to leave the gear unprotected so someone else can come and rob them again while they were off at war. Therefore, for all future wars this was a strategy he employed.
You do not want a resteal happening so what do you have to do? Make sure all open doors are guarded. Your stuff is under LOCK & KEY in the realm of the spirit. You’re not giving the enemy access to your life. CLOSE THE DOORS he’s using to steal from you and to resteal your stuff every. single. time!
Did you know the enemy is using the same door to resteal from you?? YES! This is what the Lord showed me and I’ll share more at the end of the post.
So, since these 200 men were a part of David’s plan to watch the gear, then they do deserve a part of the plunder. They were not useless sitting around doing nothing. They had a job and should be rewarded for doing their part!
~~~~~~~~
26-31 “On returning to Ziklag, David sent portions of the plunder to the elders of Judah, his neighbors, with a note saying, “A gift from the plunder of God’s enemies!” He sent them to the elders in Bethel, Ramoth Negev, Jattir, Aroer, Siphmoth, Eshtemoa, Racal, Jerahmeelite cities, Kenite cities, Hormah, Bor Ashan, Athach, and Hebron, along with a number of other places David and his men went to from time to time.
~~~~~~~~~
Strategy #6 – David is a master strategist no wonder he was so successful in his exploits. Look at what he did. First, let’s circle back to the point of the post 7×7=49. That is a lot of stuff!!!!! I’ll show you some maps so you can see what it looks like to understand the vastness of the land and also the significance of David’s final move.
You can see the Kingdom of Judah is in Orange and you already know the Ziklag was on the border of Judah and the Phillistine Territory. Remember that the Amelakites stole from 4 territories in the Negev.
The Negev is a large territory. It is not just one city it is an entire area that starts at the top of the Kingdom of Judah and stretched to the bottom and beyond that.
So when it says in the beginning of the scripture that the Amelekites stole from the 4 areas, David’s Ziklag was the smallest. The others were vast regions of land. Also notice that it appears they only took the women and children from Ziklag but property from the other regions. I’m saying this because it doesn’t say that David returned the women and children to the territory, No, it says he send them “portions of the plunder”. That means that they didn’t capture the people only the property. Which is why this feels like such a vendetta against David.
Now let’s look at all the plunder.
1 He gave to his 600 men
2 I’m sure he kept a large portion for himself
Here are the other places that received, I’ve inserted the numbers next to each location…
“On returning to Ziklag, David sent portions of the plunder to the elders of Judah, his neighbors, with a note saying, “A gift from the plunder of God’s enemies!” He sent them to the elders in Bethel (1), Ramoth Negev(2), Jattir(3), Aroer(4), Siphmoth(5), Eshtemoa(6), Racal(7), Jerahmeelite cities(8), Kenite cities(9), Hormah(10), Bor Ashan(11), Athach(12), and Hebron(13), along with a number of other places David and his men went to from time to time.
Notice some of these said CITIES, so there were more than one cities within some of these and then he sent to a number of other cities!!! That’s over 13 pus cities! INCREDIBLE!!!
Just imagine how much he recovered that he would be able to be sending this much to all these places! Now, I’m sure he wasn’t there saying “this cow looks like it belongs to Schlomo”, LOL. He would have no way of knowing who it belonged to so he was just packaging stuff and sending it off.
What can we learn from this?
Strategy #7 – What you get back from the thief is not just for you. It is good to share what you have with others besides you have an over abundance with 7×7=49! He could have kept it for himself and his men but he didn’t he decided to bless all these other people and territories. He knew that they were robbed and so he decided to send them all some of what he recovered. He didn’t have to do this. It showed how KIND he was.
But even in his giving there was a strategy, let me show you…
Strategy #8 – David, SOWED into his future! He gave into the very place where he was destined to rule. You can see the cities on the map. Not only did he give to the Kingdom of Judah which was the first place to make him king. He also sowed into the kingdom of Israel. That is a strategy.
He didn’t give all of it, he gave some of it into the places where he knew he was destined to go. If you go back and read verse 16, it said that they robbed from Phillistia and Judah…but David did not give anything to Phillistia because this was his enemy! He also not only gave to Judah but he gave to Israel as well!
Now, we already know that God would not allow him to go with the Phillistines when they went to war with king Saul. Because,
1. If he went he wouldn’t have been able to recover what was stolen
2 This was the battle where Saul lost his life and God didn’t want David anywhere near that! You have to know that some of your enemies, God isn’t going to want you anywhere near them when He takes them down. Your name will never be called because you were not there! David’s hands were CLEAN.
The very next chapter, 1 Samuel 31, is where Saul dies. What happens in 2 Samuel 1?
2 Samuel 1
After the death of Saul, David returned from striking down the Amalekites and stayed in Ziklag two days. 2 On the third day a man arrived from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dust on his head.
So imagine it like this, David goes to get his stuff back that was stolen. While he is gone, Phillistines go to battle with Saul. David returns to Ziklag and then 3 days later someone comes to tell him Saul is dead. He’s already sent off what is to be sowed into his future.
Then he asks God since Saul is gone if he should go to Hebron (one of the cities where he sowed), God says yes. He goes to Hebron and becomes King! BOOM!
I love this story and God gave me new eyes to look at this because He’s clearly showing us what to do with the massive recovery from the thief. Can you see it? It is so clear!
~~~~~~~
For those of you thinking “but this was only one instance of them robbing David, I thought this was about the resteal?”. Well, let’s just say the Amelikites had it coming to them a LONG time! This battle goes back years, long before David and God was mad with them. He just used David to exact the punishment.
None of the 3 regions that they robbed went after them, it was David. They robbed those other places and got to Ziklag last. They were stealing all along,
One thing you have to remember about our Lord, He is a God of GENERATIONS! So when you go after a thief, it is not just about you. It is about all the other people he stole from BEFORE you! Your ancestors. Your great great grandfather, your great grandmother, your mother…Which is why you can’t keep all you retrieved just for you. It is to be SHARED.
This is not tithes and offerings. This is about recovering generationally!!! The theft was happening for YEARS. All the way back in the book of Exodus you will read about the Amelekites and you’ll see what they had been doing for years. This recovery was more than just David and Ziklag!
Likewise, when you go to recover it is not just about you and the 10 x 14 box that you are living in! No, it’s more than that!!!
1 Samuel 15
2 This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt.
They had it coming! God used David to do it. Because he’s a man after God’s own heart. He’s kind and he knew what was recovered wasn’t just for him it was for generations. Praise God!
In the natural if you have thieves what is in their possession is not just from one person’s house or store, no, it’s from different homes. Same in the spiritual realm. When you recover what was stolen, especially this 49 fold, it is going to include things that were destined for other people but God releases it to you.
Therefore, you can’t be selfish with this. It’s not just for “you, your four and no more”, it’s for others as well. So, ask God who you should be sharing with.
We’re in the wealth transfer and these are things you need to know so that you manage what the Lord will give you properly.
~~~~~~~
I shared with you earlier that the Lord told me exactly why these thieves keep coming back. They are using a door that you have left open in the realm of the spirit. What you need to do is close the door. The door is formed through the sins of the flesh and sins of the heart. All you need to do is read through these scriptures, identify the things that you keep doing, repent of them and STOP doing it! That’s all. If you can’t stop, you will forever be battling the thief. Here is the list.
Yes, I know it is intense. I never said it was easy but, at least now you know why they keep coming back and when you’re sick of canceling the thief, now you know how to get rid of them permanently. This is the word of the Lord. Thanks be to God!
Blessings!
Amen God never fails and we getting back in sevens
Dear Sister, really loved the timing, the essence and the word straight from the Lord’s heart. Last 4 weeks the message is on Ziklag from across the body of Christ and these numbers testify to what has been happening in 2024 to many in God’s s church. Blessings and believing there is total recovery of what has been stolen for the whole body of Christ..this is what God does 🙂
This is so timely. I have been jobless since 2022 and every business I have invested in has come down crashing. The most painful one was getting into day trading and as I was learning the ropes, I left some money deposited in an account that I was not live trading with. Imagine my shock when I found the account empty! The broker gave me endless stories of how there was hidden charges of keeping the deposited amount idle. Nobody told me about the policy neither did I sign up with it in place. This money was given to me by my parents to invest and get something going so that I can provide for my family. To this day I don’t know what to tell them. I also invested in another business and I went down the drain, I assumed it was because of COVID yet other businesses in the same industry thrived during COVID. Don’t get me started on the interviews that I was qualified just not materializing into jobs. The most recent one was after Easter and it felt like an answered prayer after the Lenten season, we had even agreed on the starting date and then the devil stole it. This word has renewed my strength in this transition period that the operative multiplier is 49. Just this morning I stopped everything and prayed that God gives me direction as is written in Isaiah 30, I want to hear his voice behind my ear telling me to go right or left because all I have tried I have failed or hit a wall
Thank you Jehovah.
I believe I will come back with a testimony.
Hello Mbatha.
I have a similar story but not exactly the same circumstances. I lost money in business with partners, lost jobs, and missed out on interviews.
This is a timely word from Nicole through the Lord.
The Body of Yeshua needs to know this and we repent as directed on scripture.
O thou Mist High have mercy upon us.
Wow, timely word! Sis Nicole please help me with the breakdown. I invested in many businesses but went to nothing. I felt it was stolen from me, some of them were Christian friends. Feeling betrayed but with the help of God, I forgave and asked God for forgiveness too, for not asking his permission if the business was right to join. How to claim? For instance 12 times I joined a business and went nothing. How is the computation 12x? When I claim or demand in my prayer, I want to have the right word or computation. Thank you so much, dear Nicole. You’re a blessing!
Hi Faith, I gave you the formula above already. You keep multiplying the total by 7 until you’ve done it 12 times. Here is the first 3, If he retakes the 49, it is now 49×7= 343, if he takes 343 then he now owes you 343×7= 2,401. keep going until you’ve done it 12 times. Then you pray & ask for that number back. Since this is a recurring issue for you then you need to close the door to the enemy that he’s using to access your life. The link is also in the post at the end, click on it and any sin you know you repeatedly commit you need to repent for that. Otherwise, this will not stop. Hope this helps. Blessings
Prepare me to receive and to distribute according to God will. In Jesus name I ask. Amen.
“is going to include things that were destined for other people but God releases it to you.” This thing is GENERATIONAL!! Praise God!! I believe God is releasing it to me, because He knows my heart (and I’m the oldest of my mother’s womb so I get double portion!)
Thank you for this POWERFUL and ON TIME word!!
