Prophetic Word for May 2025 – Enemies of Your Inheritance

This is the prophetic word for May 2025 this is titled Enemies of Your Inheritance.  This is part 2 in a series. Here is part 1 which is Transitioning into Your Inheritance.

Who is this word for?  Everyone.  You need to understand what is going to stop you from accessing your inheritance.

Quick recap, in part 1 you learnt that you cannot accesses your inheritance until you are dead, buried and resurrected in Christ.  If you don’t even understand this part this rest of this won’t make sense to you.

When you have truly died, you are no longer after your own agenda, you are after His.  When you have buried all the old things, they don’t matter to you anymore.  When you have been resurrected in Christ you have a new life, the old you is gone and now you start fresh living a life that is rooted and grounded in Christ.  Once you have completed this, you can now access what God has for you because you are no longer thinking about yourself.  When you ask for things you ask with purpose in Christ not to feed your flesh….because you and your old desires no longer exist.  This is all about Him.

So picking up where I left off, I saw these mountains of gold bars dropped off outside people’s houses.  Individuals.  Most didn’t even know it was there.  The piles were varied.  Some were smaller.  Others were so large and stacked on top of the other that it shot through the sky and up past the clouds.  I remember stopping in front of one pile with the Lord and I looked up and still couldn’t see the top of it.  Then the Lord pulled me into a vision where I was up in the air and I saw the top of the mountain of gold bars and out in the distance I saw that there were others even higher than that one.

Please understand that this is not in the earth realm.  I’m seeing this from 2 realms – what you are living now and what God has in store for you in the heavenly realms which you don’t even know about let alone know how to access.  As such, this cannot be stolen…so get that thought out of your mind.  The only person who can touch it…or not….is YOU.  Nobody can access this except you. It’s like a bank account with your name on it, and you are the only one who can access it.  I can’t touch it and I have no idea who owns these piles of gold bars.

Then the Lord says to me…

“Before I tell you how they can access this, we need to take care of this….”

Suddenly it is like I am transported in the midst of what looked like a corn field.  It wasn’t a corn field but I have no other words to explain the density and the height of what was around me.  There was no path.  I was just in the middle of this field.

The entire scene changed to black and white.  No color.  Due to the height and density of it, I couldn’t see in front of me.  I didn’t know if I was to turn left, right, back up.  Where was I going?  It was like I was lost in this black white scene forever because I CANNOT SEE WHAT IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and I didn’t know which way to walk to get out of it.

Then His hand comes from out of heaven and He starts pulling them up like weeds from the root.  As they were pulled out of the way, everything became clear and the picture turned full color when they were gone.  The brightest most vivid colors.

It was like they were weeds but they had just overgrown the entire area and turned everything into this black and white and sepia kind of tone.  So I said to Him “what is that?”

He said

“Doubt and Unbelief.  It’s like a weed and it grows fast and takes over many areas until it covers everything.  They will not be able to move forward until they get rid of it.  It is a spirit that needs to be uprooted.  As soon as you see one seed fall into the ground get rid of it because it spreads”

As He was talking a vision opened into the vision and I saw like one seed fall into the ground and then I see underground as the root spread and created another plant under ground that then multiply and shoot up out of the ground so high and just started taking over the land until you won’t be able to see a thing.  It was spreading under the ground.  Unseen.  This is why He said as soon as you see one seed fall into the ground get rid of it IMMEDIATELY because it will spread.

Brothers and sisters, I didn’t know this is how it works.

Then I understood what happened clearly to the Israelites in the wilderness.  Doubt and unbelief is contagious people. It is a super spreader.  Careful who you hang around and who you allow to speak into your life.  They’ll plant the seed and that thing will start growing and before you know it, you don’t even know what you believe anymore!  Especially when the vision is new, or you are doing something new.

Get real good as spotting the seed as it hits the ground.  It will sound like this “Are you sure?” “Hmmm, I don’t know about that” “well, I asked so and so and they said…”  “how is that going to happen?”  “I don’t know what you’re thinking”. <<<yep, like that and it will be contrary to what the Lord told you.   And if you left it there and didn’t deal with it, it grows roots underground (in your heart) and starts spreading to all areas of your life.  Before you know it, it moved from one aspect of your life to the next…not sure about your friendships, not sure about your job, not sure about your home life, not sure about your church, not sure where you should live.  You see what I mean.  That thing is going to spread.  It will not be contained in the place where the seed was dropped it spreads until you uproot it.  In the end you are confused about EVERYTHING!!!! You become unsure about everything.  Can you relate?

Next revelation is that this thing is a spirit <<<I didn’t know this.  But I knew immediately what to do.  Binding and Loosing!!!!

Prayer:  I bind up doubt and unbelief and I cast it out in the name of Jesus!  I loose faith to believe for every thing God has promised me in my life. I loose Faith larger than a mustard seed to overtake all areas in my life  that was dimmed due to the doubt and unbelief. I call forth into clarity my vision in the natural and the spiritual realm. Where there was darkness I speak Light, I call forth the brightest technicolor to my visions and dreams, Ultra High Definition, 8K resolution, in Jesus name, Amen!

Now, if that didn’t make you speak in tongues, I don’t know what will!  Shonda!  LOL

Look at what happened at the conception of John the Baptist

Luke 1:11-20

¹¹ Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. ¹² When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. ¹³ But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid,Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. ¹⁴ He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, ¹⁵ for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. ¹⁶ He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. ¹⁷ And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

¹⁸ Zechariah asked the angel, “How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years.”

¹⁹ The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.²⁰ And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their appointed time.”

You see what happened here? He got the word directly and stepped into unbelief instantly.  In this instance the seed of doubt was “How can I be sure of this?”…  the two of us are old people.  Then the angel made sure he did not have the ability to sow that same doubt and unbelief into his wife.  He was about to be a super spreader with the entire community because they were all waiting outside for him and Elizabeth was waiting at home.  He would’ve left the presence of the angel, went outside tell them what the angel said while sowing those seeds and then sow the same seeds into Elizabeth PRIOR to her conception!!

That one seed would’ve choked that promise to death.  I want you to see how dangerous this is to you accessing your inheritance!

Some of you are just getting started and there are people speaking into your life to kill your promise and you haven’t even left to house yet!  That spirit wants to kill it before you even start it.

²⁴ After this his wife Elizabeth became pregnant and for five months remained in seclusion. ²⁵ “The Lord has done this for me,” she said. “In these days he has shown his favor and taken away my disgrace among the people.”

Listen, when God starts to do this new thing in your life, you need to keep that thing to yourself.  You can’t go out there and start talking to people who have no concept of what you are doing. Otherwise, they will sow those seeds and it will for sure choke out what God is doing in your life.

²⁶ In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, ²⁷ to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. ²⁸ The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

²⁹ Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. ³⁰ But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid,Mary; you have found favor with God. ³¹ You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. ³² He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, ³³ and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”

³⁴ “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

³⁵ The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. ³⁶ Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. ³⁷ For no word from God will ever fail.”

³⁸ “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

Verse 34 is not to be perceived as doubt and unbelief, it was a valid question because she was an unmarried woman that was told she was going to have a baby and she just wanted to know how it would happen.  What she says in verse 38 is a clear sign that she has faith to believe this will happen.

The Word that the Lord gave you WILL NEVER FAIL!  Praise the Lord!

Notice that Elizabeth didn’t tell Mary that she was pregnant.  Elizabeth told NO ONE!  Mary was allowed to know this because the Angel wanted her to know that she wasn’t the only one in this position and that the two of them could now start talking to each other about this because they are in the same boat at this point.

Please, sometimes you can only tell the people who understand because they have walked in those shoes before.  The moment God wants this to happen He’s going to make it abundantly clear who you can share with.  You just need to know that you are to keep things to yourself until you allowed to speak about it.

³⁹ At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, ⁴⁰ where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth.⁴¹ When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. ⁴² In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! ⁴³ But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? ⁴⁴ As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ⁴⁵ Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”

Did Mary tell Elizabeth she was pregnant?  NO.  Both of them were in the same boat.  Like attracts like.  You won’t have to say much to the person who understands you.  You will both be speaking the same language.  Holy Spirit is going to make sure of it.

You need to remain in faith for what the Lord has promised.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

So how are you going to know if you have doubt and unbelief?  Lack of clarity (because of the weeds) and instability in your emotions, thoughts, decisions and actions. Because you can’t see which way to turn.

James 1:6-8

⁶ Whoever asks shouldn’t hesitate. They should ask in faith, without doubting. Whoever doubts is like the surf of the sea, tossed and turned by the wind. ⁷ People like that should never imagine that they will receive anything from the Lord. ⁸ They are double-minded, unstable in all their ways.

It will look like this, you read the word today and you got all excited about it….by tomorrow???  It’s another story, you are now officially in the pit and unsure.  You don’t know if you are coming or going!  But you were excited yesterday?  So what happened?

You’re unstable.  You cannot just zero in on one thing and believe it fully.  One day you’re excited, the next day you’re not, then the day after that when someone props you up you’re good again, then your boss looks at you bad and you’re not, then the next day you got a really good sermon and you’re good, then the next day you’re not, then you finally realized what you’re supposed to be doing and set out to do it, then your friend called you and told you that the tariffs have taken effect so you’re not sure, then you decide to try something else instead and now you’re excited so you head off in that direction but when you meet up on some people there that you don’t like you had to leave and now you’re sad again, but then you got a word so you moved into another area but you’re not sure because your Auntie had a dream about you and it says not to do it, so then you pray and God told you to do something else so you headed there, and now you’re very excited because you heard from God but when you got there you have no money so now you’re sad again and questioning if it was really God or the devil who spoke to you, so now you need to have these very anointed people pray for you because you’re confused.  Unstable.  Double minded.  Being tossed to and fro.  Directionless.  This is what doubt and unbelief looks like.

The Lord says that until you address this, you won’t be able to access your inheritance.  Or, you will and then you’ll waste it.

Apistia: Unbelief, faithlessness, lack of faith

Usage: The term “apistia” refers to a state of unbelief or lack of faith. It is used in the New Testament to describe a condition where trust or confidence in God, His promises, or His power is absent. This can manifest as doubt, skepticism, or outright rejection of divine truth. In a broader sense, it can also imply disobedience or a refusal to be persuaded by God’s revelation.

Cultural and Historical Background: In the Greco-Roman world, faith (pistis) was often associated with trustworthiness and reliability, both in personal relationships and in one’s relationship with the divine. The concept of “apistia” would have been understood as a serious deficiency, especially in a religious context where faith was seen as essential for pleasing the gods. In the Jewish context, faith was central to the covenant relationship with Yahweh, and unbelief was often equated with rebellion and disobedience.

Hebrews 3:7-19

⁷ That is why the Holy Spirit says,

¹² Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.¹³ You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. ¹⁴ For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. ¹⁵ Remember what it says:

¹⁶ And who was it who rebelled against God, even though they heard his voice? Wasn’t it the people Moses led out of Egypt? ¹⁷ And who made God angry for forty years? Wasn’t it the people who sinned, whose corpses lay in the wilderness? ¹⁸ And to whom was God speaking when he took an oath that they would never enter his rest? Wasn’t it the people who disobeyed him? ¹⁹ So we see that because of their unbelief they were not able to enter his rest.

The Lord says you cannot access your inheritance until this is completely gone from your heart.  Otherwise, I will share it with you today and by tomorrow you are lost again.

Accessing your inheritance is going to put you in a state of REST.  It’s like you sit side my side with the Lord in your Adirondack chairs and you are in the most comfortable position ruling and reigning over all He has given you to do with confidence and ease.  There is no doing in this place, there’re only being.

I also need to point out one of the greatest misconception Christians have, that the people who are at rest must not have any problems.  This is a lie.  All they have learnt how to do is be at rest in spite of what is going on around them.  That’s all!

What caused you to have a meltdown 10 years ago, should feel like nothing today!!!  A cakewalk, as they say.  So that if you are currently facing the same thing you did 10 years ago, your response to it should be different because you finally learnt how not to allow your circumstances to affect you.  This is what spiritual growth looks like.  It CANNOT stop you from moving forward.  Some of you are waiting for sunny days and perfectly blue skies when the fact is the devil is always going to make sure there is a rain cloud there every time you decide to make a move.  The Christians who appear to be at rest it’s only because they know how to walk in the rain, through the thunderstorm with no shelter until they are 5 minutes down the road and sky clears up!  There is no parting of the Red Sea until you put your foot out and step into it, this is why it is called faith.  You move forward in spite of your problems!

They didn’t enter the promise land because there was no problem there, they enter the promise land in spite of the GIANTS!!!!!!!!

The problem got bigger.  They just got bigger leg muscles and learnt how to move from walking in sand to running in it!!!

Doubt and unbelief is contagious!  The only people left untouched from the original group of Israelites was Moses, Joshua and Caleb!  My goodness gracious me!  It spread to everybody in the camp with exception of the younger ones because they had no frame of reference from Egypt.  Because they kept dredging up the old things which they should’ve buried when they left Egypt.

You cannot enter rest with doubt and unbelief.  Doubt and Unbelief are the enemies of your inheritance. What you need to do this week is begin to examine the areas in your life where you noticed this has crept in.  Completely eradicate it.  Pluck it up and cast it out. You will realize that what I said to you is 100% correct.  It is not just in one area, it spreads!  Pluck it up!  As you begin to speak to others start paying attention to the words of doubt that they speak over you so that you are well aware of how it got there in the first place.

After you’ve done this, start to reflect on all the promises God made to you in these areas.  And then you irradicate God’s word in your heart for these promises. Bring these to the forefront of your mind again so that you can get into a place where you’ll believe again for what God told you originally.
