Prophetic Word – Love in Restoration

prophetic word love in restoration

This prophetic word is titled Love in Restoration.  I had a whole other message planned but, as I always do before I post anything I go consult with the Boss, the Lord gave me something else that I needed to publish today.

There have been times when the Lord will ask me to post a message and I cannot connect with BUT I then start to see it play out for so many people after I post it.

This one is like that.  I feel it is going to speak to many people

Who is this word for?  Everyone.

Again, I asked the Lord what He wanted me to talk about this week and He said “Love in Restoration“. I said OK, what is the message and He told me to post Psalm 42.  You may read this now and it may not apply to you but don’t be surprised if before the end of this month you need it.  When I got out of prayer in my spirit I felt heavily impressed upon me Isaiah 42.  So then I was saying to myself is it Psalm 42 or is it Isaiah 42?  I read them both and I’ve decided to post both of them I believe when you read it you can decide which one is speaking to you.  Or perhaps they will both speak to you. Somehow I believe they will loop one into the other. It feels like Psalm 42 could be a continuation of Isaiah 42, I don’t know why I think. that but it feels that way to me.

Psalm 42 NLT

As the deer longs for streams of water,
    so I long for you, O God.
I thirst for God, the living God.
    When can I go and stand before him?
Day and night I have only tears for food,
    while my enemies continually taunt me, saying,
    “Where is this God of yours?”

My heart is breaking
    as I remember how it used to be:
I walked among the crowds of worshipers,
    leading a great procession to the house of God,
singing for joy and giving thanks
    amid the sound of a great celebration!

Why am I discouraged?
    Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!

Now I am deeply discouraged,
    but I will remember you—
even from distant Mount Hermon, the source of the Jordan,
    from the land of Mount Mizar.
I hear the tumult of the raging seas
    as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.
But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me,
    and through each night I sing his songs,
    praying to God who gives me life.

“O God my rock,” I cry,
    “Why have you forgotten me?
Why must I wander around in grief,
    oppressed by my enemies?”
10 Their taunts break my bones.
    They scoff, “Where is this God of yours?”

11 Why am I discouraged?
    Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!

Isaiah 42 NLT

“Look at my servant, whom I strengthen.
    He is my chosen one, who pleases me.
I have put my Spirit upon him.
    He will bring justice to the nations.
He will not shout
    or raise his voice in public.
He will not crush the weakest reed
    or put out a flickering candle.
    He will bring justice to all who have been wronged.
He will not falter or lose heart
    until justice prevails throughout the earth.
    Even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction.[a]

God, the Lord, created the heavens and stretched them out.
    He created the earth and everything in it.
He gives breath to everyone,
    life to everyone who walks the earth.
And it is he who says,
“I, the Lord, have called you to demonstrate my righteousness.
    I will take you by the hand and guard you,
and I will give you to my people, Israel,
    as a symbol of my covenant with them.
And you will be a light to guide the nations.
    You will open the eyes of the blind.
You will free the captives from prison,
    releasing those who sit in dark dungeons.

“I am the Lord; that is my name!
    I will not give my glory to anyone else,
    nor share my praise with carved idols.
Everything I prophesied has come true,
    and now I will prophesy again.
I will tell you the future before it happens.”

10 Sing a new song to the Lord!
    Sing his praises from the ends of the earth!
Sing, all you who sail the seas,
    all you who live in distant coastlands.
11 Join in the chorus, you desert towns;
    let the villages of Kedar rejoice!
Let the people of Sela sing for joy;
    shout praises from the mountaintops!
12 Let the whole world glorify the Lord;
    let it sing his praise.
13 The Lord will march forth like a mighty hero;
    he will come out like a warrior, full of fury.
He will shout his battle cry
    and crush all his enemies.

14 He will say, “I have long been silent;
    yes, I have restrained myself.
But now, like a woman in labor,
    I will cry and groan and pant.
15 I will level the mountains and hills
    and blight all their greenery.
I will turn the rivers into dry land
    and will dry up all the pools.
16 I will lead blind Israel down a new path,
    guiding them along an unfamiliar way.
I will brighten the darkness before them
    and smooth out the road ahead of them.
Yes, I will indeed do these things;
    I will not forsake them.
17 But those who trust in idols,
    who say, ‘You are our gods,’
    will be turned away in shame.

18 “Listen, you who are deaf!
    Look and see, you blind!
19 Who is as blind as my own people, my servant?
    Who is as deaf as my messenger?
Who is as blind as my chosen people,
    the servant of the Lord?
20 You see and recognize what is right
    but refuse to act on it.
You hear with your ears,
    but you don’t really listen.”

21 Because he is righteous,
    the Lord has exalted his glorious law.
22 But his own people have been robbed and plundered,
    enslaved, imprisoned, and trapped.
They are fair game for anyone
    and have no one to protect them,
    no one to take them back home.

23 Who will hear these lessons from the past
and see the ruin that awaits you in the future?
24 Who allowed Israel to be robbed and hurt?
It was the Lord, against whom we sinned,
for the people would not walk in his path,
nor would they obey his law.
25 Therefore, he poured out his fury on them
and destroyed them in battle.
They were enveloped in flames,
but they still refused to understand.
They were consumed by fire,
but they did not learn their lesson.

My prayer for you is that you can see and feel His love in the restoration.  I did not come up with the title or the scriptures but somehow I feel like they loop because you can get to the end of one and start reading the other and it fits.  What is speaking to you in this?  Share it in the comments.

Blessings

  1. I feel like in psalm 42 the servant speaks (in relation to our “feelings”). Despondent, underseverving and to some extent alienated thirsting for a revival, a fire to love and serve God as we did in our earlier days. And in Isaiah 42 God responds to us, declaring His truth. It reminds of the verse “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20
    Its not in our strength but His. To Him be the honor and glory forever, Amen.

  2. I feel like God is speaking to us in this passage some people feel abandoned by God because there are Christians on both sides but God chose who his chose and is reminding us it has to be this way he has always throughout the history of the Bible chosen certain people that others would not have chosen but My God knows what he is doing and I continue to pray that more leaders will rise up and defend not only our country but our religious freedoms.

  3. I was singing “As the deer panteth” hymn as it pierced my heart and made me bawl out in tears. Then I see psalm 42:1
    Then verse 4 reminded me of a longing I had to serve Him again in ministry, being part of the celebrations of Jesus Christ’s goodness and mercies. I miss that a lot

  4. For me, I just feel like the Lord is going to make things right for his people! It may not feel like it, seem like it, or look like it, but He is going to make every crooked path straight and give us the expected end He promised! He will not fall short of His promises for us! The turnaround is here!

  5. Psalms 42,1:5 My heart felt so full reading this.I am at work so I had to try my best to keep it together. For a long time now this is exactly how I feel, I pray and cry to God telling Him how much I need Him.

  6. Only in this darkness can I see the stars and only because of this storm will I value the calm! Water is not tasty unless I’m thirsty!

    I tasted his goodness in good times and I taste his greatness in his silence. Yet he is here with me in this valley as I walk in faith.
    His silence is fierce.
    Woe to those who allowed themselves to be used ! Praise God for them because we know now more clearly whom we serve !
    Forgiveness we release and move on! There is a light at the end of this dark tunnel. Tread on hand in hand with him who who has not and will never desert me.

    My purpose in my heart more stronger. His purpose is my purpose. Everything else is part of this journey. No desire and Nothing else matters now but the closeness of the Lord!

    I walk boldly on, step by step, one day at a time!

    Why am I discouraged?
    Why is my heart so sad?
    I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!

    Love you all!

  7. I can sense the longing and the waiting and the such big love that God Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, has for his own people Israel. For his Jewish people. God wants them to find healing, forgiveness and help in HIM ALONE. HE still loves them sooo much, – HE is the only solution for them. And HE is longs to see them not only reconciled with Jesus, their Messiah, but also reconciliation among themselves, and with the sons of Ismael.
    I feel that God calls us to pray for His people, Israel, and their cousins, and to bless them ! Because its Gods heart cry. It should become our heart cry, too.
    ” I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way. I will brighten the darkness before them and smooth out the road ahead of them. Yes, I will indeed do these things; I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42, 16

    The encouraging thing is that right now so many Jews and Moslems find Jesus and start believing in HIM, lets pray for them, that they stay strong and be a light for everyone around them… Their strong testimony of reconciliation will lead other nations home to God 🙂

  8. Yesterday was the 8th of November and I kept on declaring over myself that because it’s the 8th day of the month it marked a new beginning in my life as the number 8 means new beginning . I woke up yesterday morning at 8:08am also , while declaring over myself i was led to read 2 peter 8 in verse 5 I saw the number 8 mention regarding to Noah and his family.
    2 Peter 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
    6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;
    7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
    8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
    9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
    Everything is connecting with last weeks word and today’s word, Remember in your post last week titled transition part (5) you mentioned God himself will take away the load from us and that the devil will move out all his possessions .”paraphrasing “. God delivered Lot from the flit that he was around and destroy sodom and Gomorrah, In order for the new to come God has to wipe away the old and today’s word is Love and restoration. I Strongly believe this message connects with the number eight for me , I live in the UK so i am five hours ahead , when i received this email it was after 12 am. This is a confirmation for me that God will begin something new in my life , I haven’t seen it but I received it in Jesus Name!!!
    Psalm 42 stands out for me because sometimes I have to comfort myself and remind my soul God is with us .

  9. I’m living Psalm 42 in this season.
    The enemy taunts me daily, but I will trust in the Lord. He will restore my body and I will be a living testimony for His kingdom. God gives me unfailingly love and has answered one of my prayer requests from years ago. Hallelujah! God shows up and answers us at the most unexpected times. Hallelujah! While I’m waiting on the Lord for complete restoration I will put my faith and trust in Him. Lord forgive me for being frustrated and impatient. My pain is gone thank you Jesus! Although I still suffer in other ways. God is with me and will restore me to the fullness.
    Amen.

  10. Wow, I cried when I saw Isaiah 42. I received the very same scripture a few days ago,
    and another similar scripture in one day. I think some of us have been so bruised by the tests we’ve lost our confidence and spark to the point that we just don’t feel worthy. We feel like we’ve failed God and we beat ourselves up for it. May we heal.
