Beginning of this year I had high fever my body temperature was high my body was hot at first I thought it was bcos we were in the middle of summer even at night I was sweating like crazy and asked my mom if she too was sweating also during the night and she said yes, but as the seasons changed my situation didn’t change and weeks went by I was still sweating at night finally I went to the doctor and was put on antibiotics but nothing changed by this time I was convinced that I had TB and started panicking bcos this would mean the fourth time having to deal with TB and floods of negative thoughts of me being sick all over again started to dominate my mind and all of the sudden I remembered the post about fasting by Missionaries of prayer 1st day of fasting to be exact where Nicole emphasizes the importance of repentance so as to clear everything that could block our prayers from being answered, and so I started repenting before God and the scriptures that came to my mind were James 4:7-10 1John 1:9 and Psalm 103:3 as I continue to repent the Holy Spirit reminded me of things I had done in my past that I had not confessed as sin in God’s sight and I confessed pride,hatred,bitterness,self- righteousness, selfishness, jealousy,greediness and also the fact that I am easily offended and judgemental, as I confessed my sins to Him I was shocked how black and twisted my heart was. I did this maybe for a week or two and I also renounced all these sins, I asked Jesus to cleanse my heart and to close all the doors that I have opened to the devil the more I did this the more free and light I felt and I asked God to heal all my diseases according to His Word Psalm 103:3 and I stood on His promise and I am extremely excited to inform everyone that I am now free from high fever my body temperature is back to normal. I never thought that repentance is this powerful thank Jesus
