In 2024 I participated in the January fast and some requests I made known by listing others I didn’t but they were my hearts desire for a long time though I did not list it.fast forward I discovered that I was unexpectedly pregnant in June of that year with a boy.in January 2025 I was not able to fast due to the advanced pregnancy but I joined the prayers.during delivery on February 13th something unexpected happened and the situation during labor turned catastrophic before i even begun to push, blood and clots were gushing out like a river and i almost bled to death I remember the cleaning lady telling me to call on my God to intervene because they had never seen such a situation as I had entered with an hb of 13 pints but was wheeled out with an hb of just 5 pints and all within the spun of half an hour. I was wheeled straight to the theatre for an emergency ceaserian session,the doctors and nurses had already determined that the baby in the womb was no more and they were fighting to save my life but I held on and declared the word of God that both of us would live and not die(psalms 118:17) and I begun to pray in tongues.when I woke up I found myself in the ward surrounded by my family who had also been praying relentlessly after I was wheeled out of theatre but was not waking up despite All efforts.i heard them talking about my baby boy who had been taken to the nursery and after trying to put oxygen on him he kept pulling off the tubes, untill finally, the doctor discharged him giving him a clean bill of health.and I met him.The doctors,nurses and cleaners who attended to me in the labor and theatre room all came together as a group to confirm that the baby and I were actually alive and one of them a muslim retorted and said that, surely they now believed that there was a God above because, there was no way under the circumstances that any of us would still be alive.They told me that as soon as I was discharged from hospital, I should call for a big thanksgiving to just say thank you to the lord.
