Prophetic Word – Do You Believe Me?

This prophetic word is titled Do You Believe Me?

There are two separate messages here.  One can be for you, both can be for you or none of them are for you.  This is one of those that you need to read to see if it resonates with you and then pray about it.

It is not for everyone but you will know if it is for you after you read it.

First one, you are getting ready to embark upon something and the Lord has shown me that you need to have 2 people in place for this to happen. Whoever you are, I’ve already prayed for those 2 people to find you or you to find them.

Pray about this.  You may already know this as well as perhaps you haven’t even considered that you are missing 2 people on your team.

Second Message, I specifically asked the Lord to give me a prophetic word for all of you today and He told me Read Isaiah 7.  Please open your bible and read it before you continue reading the rest of this in case there is something in that scripture that speaks directly to you.  I read it in NLT, you can choose whatever version you like…

7 When Ahaz, son of Jotham and grandson of Uzziah, was king of Judah, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah, the king of Israel, set out to attack Jerusalem. However, they were unable to carry out their plan.

² The news had come to the royal court of Judah: “Syria is allied with Israel against us!” So the hearts of the king and his people trembled with fear, like trees shaking in a storm.

³ Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Take your son Shear-jashub and go out to meet King Ahaz. You will find him at the end of the aqueduct that feeds water into the upper pool, near the road leading to the field where cloth is washed. ⁴ Tell him to stop worrying. Tell him he doesn’t need to fear the fierce anger of those two burned-out embers, King Rezin of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah. ⁵ Yes, the kings of Syria and Israel are plotting against him, saying, ⁶ ‘We will attack Judah and capture it for ourselves. Then we will install the son of Tabeel as Judah’s king.’ ⁷ But this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

The Sign of Immanuel

¹⁰ Later, the Lord sent this message to King Ahaz: ¹¹ “Ask the Lord your God for a sign of confirmation, Ahaz. Make it as difficult as you want—as high as heaven or as deep as the place of the dead.”

¹² But the king refused. “No,” he said, “I will not test the Lord like that.”

¹³ Then Isaiah said, “Listen well, you royal family of David! Isn’t it enough to exhaust human patience? Must you exhaust the patience of my God as well? ¹⁴ All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).¹⁵ By the time this child is old enough to choose what is right and reject what is wrong, he will be eating yogurt and honey. ¹⁶ For before the child is that old, the lands of the two kings you fear so much will both be deserted.

¹⁷ “Then the Lord will bring things on you, your nation, and your family unlike anything since Israel broke away from Judah. He will bring the king of Assyria upon you!”

¹⁸ In that day the Lord will whistle for the army of southern Egypt and for the army of Assyria. They will swarm around you like flies and bees. ¹⁹ They will come in vast hordes and settle in the fertile areas and also in the desolate valleys, caves, and thorny places.²⁰ In that day the Lord will hire a “razor” from beyond the Euphrates River—the king of Assyria—and use it to shave off everything: your land, your crops, and your people.

²¹ In that day a farmer will be fortunate to have a cow and two sheep or goats left. ²² Nevertheless, there will be enough milk for everyone because so few people will be left in the land. They will eat their fill of yogurt and honey. ²³ In that day the lush vineyards, now worth 1,000 pieces of silver, will become patches of briers and thorns. ²⁴ The entire land will become a vast expanse of briers and thorns, a hunting ground overrun by wildlife. ²⁵ No one will go to the fertile hillsides where the gardens once grew, for briers and thorns will cover them. Cattle, sheep, and goats will graze there.

As soon as I read it, I said to the Lord “what does this mean?” because truly folks I couldn’t see what the message was, then He said to me, this is the message

“Do you believe Me?”

I was like “Wow” and so I had to reflect on the scripture again to understand why He’s asking you that question.

God made a promise.

God saw that they were afraid and wavering even though they had a promise.

God sent a prophet to a very specific spot to speak to Ahaz. (He may very well do the same thing with you.) It was so specific. He knew exactly the spot where Ahaz would be.  That means God knows exactly the place you are right now – physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, financially, socially…..every kind of lly.  LOL

He’s telling you to stop paying attention to what you are seeing around you, things are going to change.  Regardless of what it looks like to you right now, He said what He said.

Do you believe Me?

He’s saying to you  ask Me for a sign that is so impossible that you know the only person that could make that happen is Me.

Whew!  You know, we know about Gideon putting out the fleece (Judges 6), but I didn’t realize that there was a second instance where God was saying ask Me for a sign…but not just a little sign a GIANT BIG OLE SIGN that NO ONE ELSE COULD DO EXCEPT GOD.

Ahaz was so shaken by the message that he started backing up quickly.

So, then God gives him the sign – the virgin will give birth to a Son.  By the way, if anyone ever tells you Jesus was never mentioned in the Old Testament, here’s one of many scriptures.  This was the prophecy of His birth.  Now, why would He share this at this time?  A virgin giving birth to a child. It had never been done before or since then!  The immaculate conception.  This is a miracle that absolutely no one can do but God.  So while Ahaz was embarrassed to ask for the impossible sign, God gave Ahaz the impossible sign.

Then the Lord goes into exactly what will happen letting him know that it is God himself that was orchestrating everything that ensues.

Do not be surprised, if you don’t ask for the sign, God gives you one anyway!

The Lord has told you something and deep down, you don’t believe it.  He wants you to ask Him for a sign, something no one else can do but Him.  You need to take this into prayer and you need to speak to Him about this specifically and tell Him what the sign is that you need Him to show you.  Because once He does it, you can no longer question whether or not what He told you is true.

I think sometimes it is hard for us to believe for the impossible thing, and we’re afraid to say that to God so we say one thing with our mouth but in our hearts, we have doubts.  He wants you to ask for the impossible sign.  Once you see the sign, you can no longer doubt it.  Make sure it is something that no one else can do BUT GOD.

That’s the message.
