I hope you don’t mind, I have listen in on your hearing God speak class and I am having a hard time. I believe that I am right on the edge of experience the Father in such a way that my life will be forever change. However, it feels like something is blocking me, is it sin (I need to know), is it a process that the Father is taking me (sometimes it is hard to know what direction I should be going). I need understanding so that I can be at peace. Thank you.

Hi Towanna, if it is sin you need to ask the Lord and He will reveal that to you. Once you have repented of that then nothing is standing in the way of what God is saying to you. At that point you need to be obedient to Him, as was taught in the class. Sometimes God will stop speaking when we haven’t done the last thing He told us to do. Remember what you learnt in the class about stewardship. If you don’t properly steward what He’s shown you then He won’t really take the next step with you.

Thank you for your prayers. When I read your response I immediately repented of any pride and jealously that was lingering in my heart and though processes. Once I did that I heard God say “Trust.” It was confirmed by a friend who texted me “Trust Me – God.” Thank you for steering me in the direction I needed to go to be able to get back on track and hear from my Father. Grateful.
