Prophetic Word for January 2025 – Battle to Victory

This prophetic word for January 2025 is titled Battle to Victory.

Who is this word for?  Everyone.  Some of you will see this within the first two months of the year, if you haven’t already seen it; while others will see it later on in the year.

This may be a theme throughout the year.

First, Happy Happy Happy New Year!!

This year will be a fruitful year for those of you that are walking with the Lord in obedience.  Key word, obedience.  If you’re doing what He says then there is no way you won’t see the fruit for all the seeds you’ve sown this year.

Now, because the enemy knows he’s losing, the warfare has ramped up.  I mean he’s throwing everything but the kitchen sink at it.  This is going to lead to some major exposures. The exposure is coming primarily because of this frantic attitude from the enemy to do you in before you step into your victory.

You’re about to see who is really for you and who is not.  I don’t want you to react in any way out of sorts.  Keep calm.

What I saw in a vision, without going into the details, is that some of the old devils/demonic forces/principalities that you’ve fought in the past will make a comeback.  And, for sure you will say to yourself “this again? I thought I was done with this one why is it back?”

Know that you haven’t done anything wrong to bring it back, this devil knows that you barely made it out the last time and so it’s coming back to try to pull you back into a past season of warfare.

What you are to do is this?

1. Don’t freak out.  Regardless of how uncomfortable to whole scenario is making you feel.

2. Make sure if you have any doors open in the realm of the spirit that is calling that in, you close them.  Ask God to show you.

3. You need to go back in your mind and think about what happened the last time you faced off with it, what were the mistakes you made, what did you do to overcome.

4. Immediately consult the Lord on how you should handle this.  It is not the time for you to run around telling everyone, no, you are to go directly to the Lord and calmly receive instructions on how to handle it.  Otherwise your friends may give you bad advice.

Proverbs 18:24

“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Jesus is the friend that sticks closer than a brother so He is the One you should go to on how to deal with this.

Those of you who did the fast with us where you learnt about using the crown, if what is coming at you was associated with those past events, then you need to use your crown.  You already have the victory in this.

If you’ve been following this ministry for awhile, I always tell you to sit and process your past losses, your past years of struggle and figure out what you did to get out of it…where you made mistakes.  Running away from bad experiences without gleaning the lessons can be to your detriment because if you are faced with the same situation again, you will lose because you didn’t learn from your past mistakes.

When you sit and acknowledge where you messed up, process with the Lord what you should’ve done differently, then you set yourself up to succeed the next time you are faced with that same issue.

You are about to come face to face with the same issue.

And you know how it is, different scenario, same devil!  Some of you may face off with the exact same person again, except this time you are wiser, you have grown spiritually, mentally and emotionally, and this person doesn’t even realize they are not dealing with the same person from years ago.

You’ve matured!  That means you are better and will handle things differently.  This is why you will WIN.

You should not be making the same mistake twice!

Imagine if Job had to go through the same thing he went through before, the minute the problems start and the frenemies start accusing him what should he do?

Well, if I was Job, I would skip to the end of the story where I prayed for my friends and God delivered me instantly.  So as soon as the first accusation came, I would immediately respond “Hey Bob, I hear you come let me pray for you”.  Because I would not be going through it twice!  I’ve been there, I got the T-Shirt and I have no desire to go back there!

Job 42:10

And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

When I said to the Lord, “this again?”  Because quite frankly I had no idea we were all going to hit up against the same demons that we had in past seasons…but it makes sense since we are accessing the double doors – old and new doors, that means those same demons that opposed you will try again.

The Lord’s reaction was simply this “This is your Battle to Victory”

He said it like a proud coach!  Like He knew this was coming and it was something that was a necessary step.  Like it needed to be done.  Like a rite of passage for your next level.

Like He was the best coach anyone could have in an Olympic sporting event and we had trained long and hard and He knew that we are going to come home with the GOLD.

He was proud, and excited about this battle because He knows you are going to win.  You’re prepared.  You know exactly how to stick the landing and now it’s time for the big event and all you have to do is go out there and do what you were trained for.

This was His attitude.

I would liken this to when David went up against Goliath.  He was already anointed to be the next king but he went through years of training, he defeated the lion and the bear, when no one had eyes on him.  But then one battle needed to take place as a rite of passage to put him “on the map” so to speak and make Saul and the world aware of him.

1 Samuel 17:34-37 The Message

David said, “I’ve been a shepherd, tending sheep for my father. Whenever a lion or bear came and took a lamb from the flock, I’d go after it, knock it down, and rescue the lamb. If it turned on me, I’d grab it by the throat, wring its neck, and kill it. Lion or bear, it made no difference—I killed it. And I’ll do the same to this Philistine pig who is taunting the troops of God-Alive. God, who delivered me from the teeth of the lion and the claws of the bear, will deliver me from this Philistine.”

This battle needed to happen.  It was a necessary step for David’s ascension to the throne.

Therefore, God is not removing this battle for you saints!  You’re going to need to remove it yourself, because you already know how.

When I realized this was His attitude towards it, I went through a whole shift in posture in the spirit of my mind. Something shifted inside of me and I was like “ok, let’s go!”

I knew when He said this was my battle to victory that it was going to happen very quickly.  This is not some long drawn out battle.  No!  If you handle it the way I just laid it out above, you will be past this very quickly. If you have no idea what I am talking about, you will see it right before you step into your fruitfulness.

You will get everything God told you after you deal with this.

Hence, if you are in a situation that makes you very uncomfortable while at the same time it feels familiar like you’ve gone through it before.  You need to find a place of calm and peace within you, think it through carefully before you respond.   Consult The Head Coach, calmly, and not your friends.

Nothing is coming that you cannot handle, remember this.
