GuestHi!
I’ve recently had two dreams and am reaching out for interpretation pls.1. The first one was about 2 weeks ago, I was climbing a ladder and fell backwards but I never hit the ground.
2. The second was one last night – I was in an office building with other people and the entire floor dropped a level (as if we were on a carnival drop ride) and we never hit the ground.
Both of these dreams were so surreal that it scared me enough to wake me up. The only difference is last night, after I was awake, I begin saying “I am not afraid” & I began singing “You’re the Almighty God” by Niko Politis.
Will you please interpret these dreams?

GuestHi Tina,
Isn’t it such a delight that your Lord and Savior is calling to you in your sleep? I don’t believe these are “fall” dreams; rather, I believe they are a call to surrender and allow the Almighty to fight your battles on your behalf. When you surrender (let go of control), you usher in God’s power, and you’ll suddenly see solutions and strategies being provided for circumstances that you can’t change and that are out of your control. Please read the prophetic Invisible Books if you haven’t already, or it will help: [Invisible Books Prophetic Word](https://www.missionariesofprayer.org/prophetic-word-for-april-2025-the-invisible-books-and-change/).
He’s speaking to you in a way that you’ll understand. Your dreams bypass the subconscious and are meant to be understood symbolically. Both dreams have the same meaning. Dreams that are repeated mean you’re being told the same thing twice, which indicates that you need to pay attention and listen.
Using the **Names of God NOG Bible version** in the app, I recommend you look up scripture where the Lord reveals Himself as “El Shadday,” the “Almighty God.”
### Your First Dream:
The ladder reminded me of Jacob in **Genesis 28**, and the falling but not hitting the ground reminded me of **Genesis 32** when Jacob wrestles with God. Ultimately, he surrenders after he is blessed.### Dream 2:
In **2 Samuel 22 NLT**, David sings a song of praise to the Lord because He rescued him from his enemies. Please read the entire chapter and see what resonates with you. Verses 30–37 mention:
> “I can scale a wall, surefooted,
> God makes a wide path to keep your feet from slipping.”David overcame his enemies through his praises—let this encourage you, as you woke up praising the Lord.
The floor dropping symbolizes a sudden change or shift in your circumstances—something unexpected or out of your control. However, not hitting the ground means you’re protected from falling into a worse situation, and there’s a soft landing or transition instead.
Please pray and reflect on what the Lord leads.
1.What emotions or thoughts did you experience during the dream and upon waking up?
2.Is there any area of your life where you feel like you’re ‘climbing’ but also experiencing a loss of control?
3.What recent changes in your life feel sudden or outside of your control?
4.Do you feel a call to surrender something to God in this season?
5.What scripture or promise from God has spoken to you lately? How do you see it relating to your dreams? -

GuestHi Sheridan!
Yes, it’s such a blessing that our Lord & Savior calls me while I’m sleeping. Thanks so much for the interpretation. I now understand why both happens between 2am – 3 am and I’m awaken during those times. I will follow you instructions and pray and reflect on all.
Many thanks & God bless.
Tina
