One night recently I had a sequence of about 5 dreams. The odd thing is that I rarely remember any of my dreams and this time I remembered all of them and wrote them down.Through prayer I have been able to decipher the first one pretty well, which I believe was definitely from the Lord. ( I think they probably all were.)However, the second one is needling me.I dreamed that I had arrived at a house that was new to me. I am not sure whether I was there for a vacation or I was moving there permanently, but I believe it was the latter. I walked through the house and through an enclosed porch, and out to the backyard. There was a tree (I believe it was an oak) in full leaf, with new light green growth near the top, that had not attained it’s full height. It was alive and young but well on it’s way to being very tall. But on it were carefully placed Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls alternating in neat rows encircling the tree, from the lowest limbs to the highest. I noticed that they were all brand new, crisp, fresh dolls seated neatly on the branches. I stood there looking, curious about what was going on and not sure what to make of it. I saw a man who was either a handy man of some sort or a neighbor (I wasn’t certain). I asked him, ” Do you know anything about this? Were they supposed to be decorations or is something else going on.” He replied that he didn’t know. So carefully I began to take the dolls off of the tree, partly because they didn’t belong there and partly because I didn’t want them to get damaged by weather. I gathered them up in my arms one by one, reaching up as far into the tree as I could. But my arms were full and I couldn’t carry them all. Further I was too short to reach up to get all the ones above me. I thought, “I guess someone taller will have to get those.” I took the ones that I could carry into the house and laid them down inside the porch. Then the dream changed.

      Hi Lisa,

I believe the house that you arrived to represents your body, which is the temple and dwelling of the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 6:19) The newness of the house symbolizes that, in Christ, you are a new creation.(2 Corinthians 5:17) I believe the uncertainty of whether you were dwelling in the house temporarily as a vacation dwelling or permanently, represents the uncertainty of our knowledge at the present moment concerning what our bodies will be at the resurrection in our glorified state; whether we will receive new glorified bodies or maintain the same bodies but in a glorified state. (1 John 3:2) We will go from glory to glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18) You entered the Tabernacle [house] (Hebrews 3:3-4) and directly proceeded to the throne of grace/ mercy seat [enclosed porch] (Hebrew 4:16; Exodus 26:34) of the Holy of Holies to the Garden of Eden [backyard]. (Genesis 2:9) I believe you saw the Tree of Life (Revelations 22:14), an Oak of Righteousness (Isaiah 61:3) in the midst of the garden. The healthy, new, green leaves of the growing tree represents the healing of the Nations (Gentiles) from this Tree of Righteousness. (Revelations 22:2) The Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls represent our attempts at righteousness, which are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). The placement of the Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls onto the Tree of Righteousness represent us placing our attempts at righteousness on the Cross (tree), upon which Jesus Christ, the Oak of Righteousness, was slain. I believe the attempts at removing the Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls from the Tree of Righteousness represent attempting to attain righteousness through works. However, you weren’t tall enough to attain this and fell short of this righteousness, as all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). I believe the Lord is reminding you that it is only when we recognize that we can never be righteous based on our own works and deeds (Romans 3:10) and place our raggedy attempts at attaining righteousness at the foot of the Cross in exchange for His righteousness, can we truly become healed, whole, righteous through right standing with God. (1 Pete 2:24)

I also meant to mention that I believe the backyard symbolizes the entrance to the Outer Courtyard of the Tabernacle of the Tent of Meetings, where Jesus Christ was slain upon the Cross/Tree and offered up as the ultimate sacrificial Lamb of God.
