GuestDear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please continue to pray for Maya Gebala (12), a hero shot (neck/head) while protecting friends in the shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia. Miracles continue to happen as she recovers. She just completed a surgery to place a prosthetic skull cap in the area that was damaged from the shooting. The surgery was very successful. PRAISE THE LORD!!! Surgeons and all healthcare professionals were certainly guided by God’s Hands. Pray that this continues.
There was some development of hydrocephalus again before the surgery, but they remain hopeful that the cranioplasty will restore normal brain pressures, allowing the hydrocephalus to resolve on its own. To support this, Maya has an EVD (external ventricular drain) in place to manage any pressure changes and protect the incision site while it heals. It will be about 5 days for initial healing, followed by another 5 days of gradually challenging the EVD. Everyone is hopeful that over the next 10 days and beyond, her hydrocephalus will subside naturally so she can avoid another surgery for a shunt. Please pray that they will not need another surgery.
Right after surgery, the family was amazed to see Maya open her eye and lift her head to look around, showing incredible strength so soon after such a major procedure. Throughout the day, she continued to regain her pre-surgery spark, moving her hand and leg, squeezing our fingers, and looking around with curiosity.
Please keep praying for Supernatural Divine Miracle Healing and complete recovery in all of this. Pray that there are no complications from the surgery and that the recovery is smooth and quick, guided by God’s Hands. Also, please continue praying for Maya’s parents (Cia Edmonds and David Gebala), her sister (Dahlia), her closest cousin (Krysta), and all their loved ones.
Please keep all victims, anyone traumatized by the tragedy, families, loved ones, and the individual responsible for the tragedy (our Loving, Merciful, and Forgiving God will judge them righteously) in your thoughts and prayers, as well as this individual’s family.
Let us continue to pray that mass shootings like this, which happen far too often, come to an end worldwide. Finally, please pray for all those in my prayer book.
We pray this in the PRECIOUS and MIGHTY NAME of JESUS CHRIST. AMEN and AMEN. Thank you.
Love your brother in Christ, Christopher
