I would like to make a confession. 3 years ago (I was 40. I’m a single woman) a man who I dated at age 18 randomly called me. I’ve always been a Christian, served in church, and cut off anyone who had ‘impure’ intentions.
He called saying he was now born again and married with kids and wanted to see me. Was really happy because I knew he was in the past.
Meeting started out well and we talked into the night and lodged in his hotel. My heart was so pure. (I feel foolish saying this.) He had business to do so he had to be in a hotel.
We were praying, worshipping, studying the word as he revealed things God showed him. I fell asleep and woke up to find his hands all over me. I was horrified and angry. Also afraid. It was midnight. I couldn’t go home. I was so ashamed.
He apologized and moved away. I couldn’t sleep for a while. I drifted off and same scenario happened. I let him.
A week later he asked to see me apologising profusely. We met and I willingly slept with him again. A part of me I realise was bitter and angry. About my life … Waiting and waiting for marriage.
After that day I relocated to another city and cut him off. He’s tried to reconnect but I couldn’t because that’s never been who I am.
It’s been over 3 years. I know God has forgiven me. It’s just been like a big secret over my head that the enemy uses to stall me when I feel great about my calling and all.
I’ve no close friends. Always kept a private life (upbringing – pastors kid – and work – writing.) Also in a somewhat new place.
I’m confessing here…. 🤦
Please pray for me. I want that part to be healed and I can silence the enemy.

Father in Heaven, I pray for forgiveness. We sin knowingly and unknowingly, Father forgive us our sins. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.

Heavenly Father
I come to you in the name of your awesome son Jesus. I thank you for this women. As it is hard for me to pray for a women who slept with a married man. I am here standing in the gap for her healing from her sin. My husband has had an affair on me. It has broken me to the core for years. This women is still in love with my husband. God, I am not sure how this women is feeling on the inside, but I know you are a forgiving God, a healing God, and all powerful God. You have sent your son Jesus for those of us who need saved. All of us have sined. Crying 😭 out to you oh God bc I wanted nothing but pain for these women who sleep with married men. But God I am here to pray for this women as I feel she is honestly sorry for her wrong and needs your help to show her who she is in Christ. To hold her when she is lonely and to love her when she is alone. To strengthen her when she feels like she is missing out. To protect her from the evil of satan. Most of all I pray that you bring a person in her life that is just for her. Where she knows only God has sent them for just her. I ask that you restore her and her heart and her mind. That she can see your great works and glorify you. And one day be able to share how you brought her out of the walls in her mind. As I hug her God allow my amazing heart ❤️ to touch hers so that she knows she has friend that she has never met praying for her on her behalf.
I ask all these things in Jesus name and I count it done.

Heavenly Father, I thank you for this confession. I believe the enemy uses secrets to detain us and make us feel captive to them. I thank you Father that you forgive, and you love, and there is nothing that we can do to earn either of those. Your grace and mercy makes us whole. I have been on a similar journey (9 years ago), and Jesus took me on a very hard and beautiful journey to personal restoration. I thank you Jesus that you dot leave us where you find us, I pray you take this woman and lead her to the path of restoration and healing. Thank you God that you have forgiven her, help her to forgive herself and silence the enemy. When I was processing this for myself I looked up verses on “who I am in Christ” and wrote them on post-it’s and posted them all over my bathroom mirror. Every time I went in there I read them out loud and memorized them. Every time the enemy would speak to me, I’d answer back with as many verses as I could remember. “NO, God says that I am…” After some time those attacks became fewer and further between. They still come, albeit seldom now, but I know how to fight them off. Blessings to you!

Jesus loves you. He is for you and will never let you go. Please, look to Him for who He is and that there is nothing to hard for him to heal, to restore and to bring back to life in Jesus name. I thank you Father God that this daughter of God has released and confessed this sin to you in Jesus name. I thank you Lord that now she is and will be free for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. “). Amen! Thank you Jesus! Gid give you peace.
