A short explanation of the situation – my son’s father committed adultery and a child was the result of it. In trying to figure himself he decided to go on a spiritual journey and in his journey, he came to tell me he got a vision from God. below is the vision

The vision – ‘he saw himself standing at an alter type setting facing out to the audience. he saw myself and our son sitting in the audience smiling at him, he looked down at my hands and saw a ring on my finger. Then he looked to his left and saw his other child and her mother standing next to him.’

He interpreted this to mean I had moved on and that the woman he committed adultery with is who he is supposed to be with and that they are his family, not myself, and our son.
this happened 4 months ago, I have suffered the pain and being focusing on my relationship with God. Nevertheless, I have been confused because his interpretation is nowhere close to my understanding of what the Lord was showing him and trying to tell him.
Can someone help me interpret this dream/vision for me, please?
