This prophetic word is titled The Rapture. It actually covers 2 groups of people.
Who is this word for? Those who are awaiting the rapture and those who are waiting on the Lord for His promises. And in these 2 groups this may still not be for you but you will know as soon as you read it.

I’m in the courts of heaven and I see these people waiting on the benches before the Judge.
Now, normal posture when you are in a courtroom people are alert. They are there listening and observing what is happening and then they leave. This is like an active style of waiting. The people are engaged.
This was not what I was looking at. They were about 5-6 people that were sitting there with various postures in the courtroom. I could tell they were not together because they weren’t sitting together but they were sprinkled throughout the courtroom.
One of them was even stretched out on their back on the bench like they are getting ready to take a nap except the phone was in their hand and it looked like they were scrolling on the internet.
I am sure if you walked into a courtroom and you saw people like this in front of the judge you would for sure be asking “what is going on here??” Because not only did it look disrespectful but it was odd.
So after I looked at all of them sitting in those various postures that basically read…I’m tired of waiting here, when is this going to be over, why is this taking so long, when is this happening. Or the posture that says “I have officially checked out!” You only start slumping and laying down when you are tired.
I said to the Lord, “What is this?” Because the posture was throwing me off.
Then the Lord said to me, tell them “Occupy until I come!”
It was at that moment that I thought to myself, this must be the group of people waiting on the rapture to happen. I am not saying that there are only 5-6 people waiting on the rapture, what I am saying is that of that group there are some people this is their posture in the spirit as they wait for the Lord’s return. I thought perhaps it’s the people waiting on the promises of God but then I reflected on the time of year and I felt for sure this is the group waiting for the rapture.
For those of you who don’t know, there is speculation that it is this time of year, Rosh Hashanah and the 3 weeks following that is the season when the Lord will return. You know, Feast of Trumpets, Tabernacles, Yom Kippur, this time of year many Christians believe this is when God will return to us.
This post is not to dispute that or debate whether or not Jesus will come back at this time of year. The post is to deliver a message to you from the Lord if you fall into this category.
First, what does it mean to “occupy until I come”
Luke 19:11-23
11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’
14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’
15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it.
16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’
17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’
18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’
19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’
20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’
22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’
Luke 19:13 in the King James Version says “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.”
Other versions say, do business until I come.
Now you may be saying what is the business? It was the last thing Jesus told the disciples before He left..
Matthew 28:19-20
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
This is the business that you should be doing till He comes. In the Luke 19 scriptures everyone got one mina. Some didn’t get more than the others it was equal across the board. So that no one can say this person got more than I did. We are all on equal footing. The other thing is that we didn’t need to go looking for the mina it was given to us by Him.
What is the mina? Your salvation.
You are saved. I am saved. I don’t think there is an unsaved person waiting for the Lord’s return. You are to multiply souls saved. He deposited one mina in you and now you need to share Christ with others so that souls are saved and thereby multiplying salvation throughout the earth.
You have work to do, so occupy until He comes.
Matthew 24:30-51
30 And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world—from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.
32 “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. 33 In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation[j] will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
36 “However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
37 “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. 38 In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. 39 People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes.
40 “Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left.41 Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left.
42 “So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. 43 Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. 44 You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
45 “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. 46 If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward. 47 I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns. 48 But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ 49 and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk?50 The master will return unannounced and unexpected, 51 and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
I highlighted verse 40 – 41 you will notice what the people are doing when the Lord returns, working. The kingdom business doesn’t end until we go up. There’s no retirement in Christianity when it comes to the things of the spirit and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for others and taking care of the needs of others. THERE’S NO RETIREMENT.
We have eternity for that!!
The next point I want to highlight is in verse 31 it says that the angels will gather the chosen ones.
Mark 13:27 AMP it says this
And then He will send out the angels, and will gather together His elect [those He has chosen for Himself] from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.
The reason I am pointing this out to you is that whether we believe in the rapture or not ALL of us will be caught up. He’s not coming to rapture only the ones who believe in the rapture. IF there is a rapture, all of us are going up because He is coming for His church, that means those who believe there is a rapture and those who don’t.
Who wouldn’t want to get out of here? Come one now, ALL of us!! Who in the world would say….naw go on without me, I been waiting for my whole life to go through the tribulation, NOBODY! LOL
But likewise, IF there Is no rapture ALL of us will be here. So it doesn’t matter either way because ALL of us will experience the same thing whether you believe in the rapture or not.
This is exactly why I don’t discuss this with people because there’s no extra prize for believing it, or not! Regardless my mansion is still going to be “tricked out” exactly the way I want it. I don’t get the “upgraded model” because I believed in the rapture! No! I’m getting the cappuccino espresso fancy coffee maker in my mansion either way! LOL
What scripture does say is that we are to keep watch,…not for 3 weeks during the Hebraic New Year! You are to be watchful 24/7, 365 days per year!!!! NOT just for 3 weeks during September and October.
Mark 13
34 “The coming of the Son of Man can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. When he left home, he gave each of his slaves instructions about the work they were to do, and he told the gatekeeper to watch for his return.35 You, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know when the master of the household will return—in the evening, at midnight, before dawn, or at daybreak.36 Don’t let him find you sleeping when he arrives without warning. 37 I say to you what I say to everyone: Watch for him!”
Based on this you won’t know the time of day. If you were to take this literally you are not to sleep but that is not what it means. Because Luke 17:34 says I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
So even if you are physically asleep you are STILL going! It is an alert state in how you live your life. He gave each of his servants work to do. We are to be mindful of what HE has called us to do. Continue to do the work of the Lord, Occupy until He comes.
Continue to go from Glory to Glory becoming more like Christ. It is not about 3 weeks!
Matthew 25:
“Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps,4 but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. 5 When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight they were roused by the shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’
7 “All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. 8 Then the five foolish ones asked the others, ‘Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.’
9 “But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked.
Take note of verse 5, ALL of us are tired, it’s not just you. But when Christ comes at the unexpected hour (midnight) and we all get up and go to meet Him those with only 3 weeks worth of oil will be in trouble!!! The ones with the extra oil realize that it might happen waaaaaaayyyyyy past the 3 week window and not necessarily in the 3 week window! So we are ready!!!! 24/7 365 days per year. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
And we wait by keeping ourselves busy with the Father’s work.
Let’s say we get to the end of this season and Christ doesn’t come back, there is a simple explanation for this and here it is in the last scripture I will share with you. Jesus says,
John 6:38-40
8 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. 40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.”
How incredibly comforting and reassuring it is the NOT ONE will be lost. This is the will of God.
If the 3 weeks end, or the rapture season ends, and we are still here that is because not everyone that is to be saved, is saved. Because He is not coming back until all of us are saved who are supposed to be saved. I hope you understand this. So while you might be tired, don’t be upset but rejoice that not one will be lost! and think about how merciful and gracious God is to make sure we’re all making it in.
Therefore, OCCUPY until He comes. Do the work of the kingdom. Which is? Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, pray for the salvation of the people you know and don’t know personally. Just pray for people’s salvation in general, can you do that? That is the work!
I think about August 26th when a flash flood caused by a falling glacier washed away 7500+, and counting, people in Tibet and Nepal, 1450 dead and the rest missing. In the blink of an eye 7500+ people were gone! We NEED to be praying for the souls of men to be saved.
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few! We need you! You have a Job to do so get to it so that hopefully next year you won’t be reading a repost of this same message! LOL
