This is a one week fast for 2025. The fast begins 5 days after you sign up.
Here’s how this will work.
- When you sign up you will receive a welcome email, please check your spam folder to be sure you receive all the emails.
- The Fast begins 5 days after you sign up. This will give you the time you need to gather the items for the fast.
- During the fast, every day you will receive the email for that day which will have a prayer focus and scripture meditation.
- Each day will be different, and the prayer and scriptures need to be done in the order you receive them for greater results. We also give you the opportunity to submit your dreams on our dreams forum for interpretation. God speaks to us so much through dreams and there are times when we need help knowing exactly what He is saying.
- By the end of the fast you should notice:
- Clarity
- A sense of freedom and peace in your mind, body, spirit and soul. It is a complete detox.
- Direction on how to move forward in 2025, not from us but from God since the whole purpose of the fast is to get you more focused on Him.
- And the best part, answered prayers! You will learn some prayer strategies on how to get answers and this will result in massive breakthroughs to your prayers.
- Cost: Being willing and obedient to follow what the Lord will reveal to you during this process. Showing up every day to do the exercise and read the Bible verses. Shutting off the social media, TV and any other outlets that will bring the evening news, fear or distraction into your atmosphere. This one week break from the media will allow you to hear clearly. Other than that, it’s free.

A few things to have on hand to start the fast:
- Your bible (physical & digital copy, if you have it)
- Notebook & pen for journaling
- An audio recording device (most phones have one just be sure you know how to use it)
- Anointing oil
- Communion elements We take communion every day during the fast. The type of fast recommended:
Most people do a Daniel Fast reference Daniel 1:12. You can find more information about this type if fast by clicking here. If you more experienced at doing a Daniel Fast, perhaps consider doing a juice fast.
Please do what is best for you and your health, consult your doctor. If you know you cannot do this, then do your best.

- Radio
- News/Media
Unless you must, please consider shutting it all down for the week.

After participating in the 7 days of prayer and fasting, it helped me to discipline myself to finish prayer and fasting I’ve scheduled myself to do since then. Prayer and fasting, it is no longer a struggle for me as before. Thanks Missionaries of Prayer!
I learned I can break up a big project and complete it in a day, sometimes it may take longer. I had embedded thorns that I did not realize; some people may have many and I may not see their inside suffering. The boomerang effect of prayers and why we pray blessings over our enemies. My husband has been cursing me for years and the children, were it not for God’s grace we would be a lot worse off; with His grace,mercy,love and Jesus bearing our curses on the tree we are free. Praise God! I can also pray more effectively for my family. I did the first and last weeks and picked up new learning the second time.
I recently started fasting for the first time and this 7 day fast was an awesome experience and blessing for me. Thank you for taking the time for making this fast possible. God bless!
The prophetic word for 2019 was so very accurate for where I’ve been at. This fast has been mainly an act of obedience of joining with God and the plans/ promises that He has for my life. It’s been a great tool to center me back into wanting Jesus more than anything and in that, giving Him my everything. It’s been such a sweet time!
I am so glad i participated in this time of fasting and prayer. I see God doing a new work in my life and that of my family’s. I was praying for my son and husband and i do see some change in both of them since the day i started. I also find that my faith has risen and i have learned to be still before the Lord in the midst of trials. I am quite excited to continue to look to the Lord for our total breakthru and transformation..thank You Jesus!

I am grateful a friend told me about this fast. At first, when I read the general information on the website, I felt overwhelmed. So many things to read and digest. I called my friend. She told me to take it one at a time.
When I actually started, it was very manageable. I was relieved. Each day was not packed till it became tedious. Somedays the prayers and the process were longer, but still manageable. The most tedious was Day 6 but it was necessary.
I times I woke up in the night, the passages I looked up addressed my issues. I am so blessed.

gloria – Thank God for this fast and thank you for sharing it. It was exactly what I needed and a summary of what God has been doing in my life for the last 6 years or so. Day 6 was so powerful (it took me 3 days to complete it) but I feel like a brand new person. I am lighter, my home is lighter, I just feel Jesus precious light all around me and especially in my home. Praise God! I just cannot say Praise God enough. God is on the move and in many mighty ways and avenues. Praise him for his power and that we as followers of Jesus Christ have the power to do the same things Jesus did. I cannot wait to see what God will do next with me and with all his people. Praise God! AMEN.

I stand in Awe of what Abba Father has done in the first week the 7th Januarie with the start of the fast For my Adhd son God do n great thing We experience a Open portal in Heaven doors that was close suddenly open He was suffering mainstream school a lot of issues We has a household do the fast together and what seems impossible for us was possible with God We shout out very loud Elohim Elshaddai Victorious Jesus Jesus He has done Great Things I Praise His Holy Name Im joining again the last week fast trust Abba for receiving praying in tongues and to receive healing Thanks For your obedience Missionary Prayer Team Im defenitly receive new wine and kingdom breakthrough May the Lord keep on blessing you Shalom Num 6v24
ITS VERY INTERESTING I HAD A DREAM AND IN THE DREAM , MY AUNT TOLD ME . GOD SAID I SHOULD FAST FOR 7 DAYS WITHOUT FOOD AND I WAS LIKE WHAT THAT DOES MEAN .THIS IS AMAZING , AT LEAST I WILL KNOW WHAT IM DOING ,WITHT THE HELP . I KNOW GOD DIRECTED ME HERE ON THIS PAGE. I have this site saved in my archives due to reference on my dreams and visions. I am already doing the Daniel fast however this time the Lord has been switching it up on me with different instructions. I came here looking for a meaning in my dream last night but instead came across this 7 day corporate fast and prayer outline. The prophetic word I read fits me very much. I believe Jesus led me to this site for a reason to specifically join the 7 day fasting and prayer movement. I am glad and honored to do this with the body of Christ!
Wow! This fast was powerful. I had no idea I’d come out of it with such revelation and clarity on many areas of my life. My first Daniel fast, and I’m glad I took part.
God revealed so many things in my life, some areas I hadn’t paid particular attention to, he opened my eyes that even now I’m still in shock. I keep referring back to my notes of dreams and visions and I’m just amazed by how the Father himself was speaking to me (directly!!!).

I thank God for all of you at MOP and all folks who went down on their knees for me during the fast. Its been a blessing, and to see my list being answered even before getting to it has been very humbling. Our God is always loving towards us. We just need a push and a reminder to seek his presence. May the Lord Jesus be with you all in 2019.
