Jeremiah 29:11-13 Prayer

jeremiah 29:11-13

Jeremiah 29: 11 is one of the more popular scriptures in the bible and so we decided to write this prayer based on Jeremiah 29:11-13.

We’ve included different versions of the bible below.  Please read each one and meditate on them as each version reveals an even deeper meaning into this scripture.  It will also cause your faith to rise as you speak this word out loud.

This prayer is perfect for you when you are feeling discouraged or if you are in a season of waiting with expectation on the Lord for those dreams, visions and prophetic words to come to pass.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 New International Version (NIV) ~ “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 New Living Translation (NLT) ~ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 King James Version (KJV) ~ “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 Amplified Bible (AMP) ~ “For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your
heart.”

Jeremiah 29:11-13 Prayer

Abba Father, thank you for your word that breathes life into us.  Your word revives the dry bones in our lives.  As we go through any season of discouragement,  we need to be reassured that your plan is a good plan.  Your plan for our lives is to bring prosperity and peace.  There is no evil in You so anything that you bring to us is not for evil but for good!  Thank you that even when the enemy sends the bad things our way we know that you are going to turn it all to our good.  The adversity strengthens and builds character in us so that we can walk into our purpose with readiness because we have been tried by the fire.  God we look to you for direction in areas where we are uncertain.  Make your will clear to us, show us the path.  We earnestly seek you with our whole heart knowing that your word says that when we seek you we will find you if we seek you with our wholejeremiah 29:11-13 heart.  Today God we come to you wholeheartedly.  We come with our mind, body, soul and spirit seeking your guidance, seeking direction, seeking wisdom, seeking understanding into the things that concern us.  We humble ourselves at your feet and ask you to not only hear this prayer but respond God.  Respond Lord so that we know the next step to take.  Speak Lord, speak. Hear from heaven and answer our prayer.  We will wait patiently to hear your answer knowing that you will indeed answer.  Give us grace to receive what it is that you are speaking into our lives – our health, our family, our finances, our relationships, our ministry, our government, our world.  Grant us willing hearts to obey everything that you will speak.  Bind the hand of the enemy from bringing confusion and loose clarity to walk in the prosperous purposes and plans that you have for us, in Jesus Name, Amen!

Jeremiah 29:11-13 The Message (MSG) ~ “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.” God’s Decree.”

Thank you Lord!
