GuestLet me start off by saying by no means did we do everything right in this situation or was in no way qualified to receive such favor of blessings and miracles from the Lord by being perfect. But the Lord who is rich in mercy and grace as he says in his word is a GOOD, Good Father! God’s truth, grace and mercy is truly powerful and available for us all, despite flaws, mistakes, and set backs he shows up every time. So trust and know that this blessings can happen to you too if you find yourself in a similar situation. My family and I went through a very tough season during the summer of homelessness. We didn’t know what we were going to do. But we looked to God and trusted that despite how bad it had got, we would get through this and that trouble wouldn’t last forever. After our lease ended on May 15th, me, my husband and two children had no where to go because renewal wasn’t an option. There was a lot of things going on between us and our landlords and the court system had to get involved. Our landlords had been using this property as an Air B&B and had decided to move into their own property after their marriage. We put all our little things in storage and left the resident. We found a hotel we could afford close to my husband’s hometown which was about 1hr away from our previous place and now would be much closer to family and friends which was needed during this time. Me and my husband both continued to work and pay hotels fees from week to week until a door opened up for us to find a place. We chose a hotel close to the area we heard the Lord tell us would be our next residence, although we had nothing set up here. We were moving on faith and things begin to move quickly. A friend of my husband told him about a private owned property that wasn’t on the market but vacant and the Lady was looking for the right tenants. The place was in the exact city God had revealed to us in prayer would be our next move. Shortly after, a co-worker of mines who knew my situation informed me of a program that was going on in the area paying 1st and last month rent as well as deposit to move in for families moving to the area. We had just moved to this area so we qualified. I told my husband and he told me he had found a place also. We met with the landlord and she liked us and agreed to let us rent out the property. We went to apply for the assistance and got approved. They sent the check directly to the landlord and We moved into the new place without paying a dime exactly 3months later to the date. We moved out of our last property on May 15th when our lease ended and moved into our new home on Aug 15th. God showed up and showed out. He provided for us and the place was better than our previous shared home with other tenants. This was a single family home with 3beds, 2baths and a nice yard and garage with a basement. But wait, it gets better since the last place was an Air B&B it was fully furnished so we didn’t have furniture but small miscellaneous items from our storage unit. Someone also informed us of a Christian organization who comes out and furnish your entire place for free as acts of mission. We applied and got approved. Within 2months our entire home was fully furnished with beds, dressers, tv, dishes, living room set, and everything else you could think of for decors, to bedding, rugs and all at no cost to us. God is so faithful and will take care of you! He does not promise a life without hardship but he does promise to never leave us or forsake us and if God is with you just know he is working things out for you. Be encouraged and ask him to do it for someone else who may be in same situation. Be blessed.
