I had a dream I was walking with my cousin while she was holding her new pet snake. It was a small, black, non-venomous snake so I wasn’t threatened by it or afraid. As I was casually walked next to her I started to pet the snake and that’s when I was bitten. Because I didn’t really react, I assumed it wasn’t that bad until I looked down. Half of my index finger was bitten off and it was much more severe that I had thought. I began to panic after seeing the after math. My cousin was also very cool, calm and collected as if it was no big deal. A medic soon arrived and cleaned me up. Can someone please help me understand the biblical meaning of this? Thank you in advance!
Note: we also got into a huge argument and fight after the situation because I was upset with her for acting as if what happened to me was no big deal

Well your thoughts could actually be the interpretation. I hate to say this, but I wonder if either your cousin or someone close to you is really a threat to you? This person is holding a snake and it is no big deal. Snakes are clever and also very manipulative. Think about Satan speaking to Eve in the Garden of Eden in Genesis. Your index finger in the dream was bitten off. The index finger points to clarity, guidance and vision, often associated with the prophetic/prophecy. I say this to say that you need to watch your connections and use discernment. What is okay with someone is not necessarily OK for you. You cannot do what everyone else is doing, as it will be detriment and danger to you! Ask God to heighten your discernment regarding your connections – who is trying to be your friend in your face/nice, but is really a snake or has ulterior motives, or has a hidden/secret agenda and really doesn’t have your best interest at heart. This could be family or no family.
