I had a dream that I was trying to get my home prepped for Christmas. I remember I had stockings hung on the wall and was getting everything ready. When I would come back, my ex-husbands mother (who I do still have contact with in the natural) would put her stocking on the wall and change the things I was trying to do in my home. I would take it down and walk away and when I would come back, it was there. I didn’t see her in the dream but she was still there. I was getting my tree ready and noticed that some of the lights were not working and I remember taking the tree and moving it so that I could change the lights. It was a white tree with silver lights, which I remember thinking was odd to me since I like the green Christmas trees but I kept it.

After this one, I had a dream that I was working in a salon and this woman came to me to cut and color her hair. But I didn’t know how to cut hair and was worried I would mess it up but she trusted me to cut her hair the way she wanted.

The last dream I had, it was myself and my best friend. We had a wooden box that we were supposed to put butterflies in. The butterflies were in a bag and we had to take them from the bag and put them in the box. She told me to open the bag and then try to put them in the box. But when we did, the flew away. And then another bag appeared. We did this twice and the third time, I looked at her and said, “look–see how that butterfly is staying on the box instead of flying away (It was one that did not fly away but stuck to the box)? Lets put the bag in the box and then open it because it seems they stay attached to the box”. So we did that and they didn’t fly away–they stayed in the box.

      Hello,
When reading your dreams I kept thinking TRANSFORMATION and CHANGE. Your ex mother in law represents your past and how you are changing things up and around about yourself but the past wants to hold on and remain a part of your life. With the salon, I think about a quote made famous by Coco Chanel, a designer. She said, “when a woman cuts her hair, she’s changing her life.” A simple act of cutting hair, represents a change, a new attitude like the song by Patti LaBelle states, and a metamorphosis so to speak. You may have some trepidation or reservation about change coming into your life. Lastly, the butterflies, which represent change, flew away the first couple of tries but the last butterfly remained in the box. I wonder if this is a call to you to not be afraid of change and to “think outside of the box”? Get out of your comfort zone and go forth and do some of the things you’ve been wanting to do but have had reservations about. Don’t worry about failed attempts in times past. As the Man in the Mirror song by Michael Jackson states, “Make that change.”
      Blessings
