Several months ago I had a dream about a little fox on the porch of my house. I looked out the window and called out for my husband to come look at it and then opened to door to shoo it away. My husband did not respond but the the fox ran off afraid. Within a week I had the same dream and in it I again called out for my husband to come see too. He responded from the other room. This time the fox was pacing, acting more erratic and barking at me. I opened the door, not thinking, and the fox tried to charge into my house. I quickly put my foot out to block entrance and I closed the door to keep it out. I think I understand this dream but wanted to get more confirmation.
Hi Sarah,
I hear Song of Solomon 2:15: “Catch the foxes for us, the little foxes that ruin vineyards”. I believe your dream represents the presence of an issue of concern in your life that on the surface seems to be small but actually has the potential for developing into a much larger problem. It seems that you are aware of this problem’s potential for becoming a much larger issue and have tried to make your husband aware of the risks involved in ignoring the problem but have been unsuccessful in your attempts at convincing him of the importance of handling the issue right away. I believe the Lord is warning you in your dream that you need to continue to work with your husband concerning coming to an agreement on the importance of handling this issue immediately while it is still relatively manageable and small before the issue becomes a much larger problem.
Thank you!
