Hi! I’m a bit worried of what this dream could mean.
So, in the dream, I think I started off thinking of this guy I liked and I was probably half awake and half sleeping, but I dreamt of being intimate with him, like extremely sexual (borderline intercourse), and then my fantasies in the dream included positions like ones I would see on adult websites. I haven’t watched those ever since I got saved around four years ago and I don’t mastubate, nor am I in a relationship with anyone. The dream switched to other people and I saw myself on top a guy (dont know who he was) who seemed to be sleeping and I was trying to fornicate with him and do those things that I saw on the adult websites. I woke up and tried to shake the feelings off, but I don’t know what this dream means. I do at times struggle with sexual fantasies toward the guy I like (and I feel like he might be the one I am to marry) but they aren’t like that dream that I had. It’s very weird… -
First let me say it’s natural to have a sexual desire. The sin comes in when we fornicate, or have sex outside of marriage. If you’ve struggled with pornography and now you’re saved, it’s easy to fall back into that habit/sin, and it takes continual prayer, fasting and reading of God’s word to be delivered. Additionally, it takes you saying no to the flesh and being intentional to help in deliverance.
I don’t have an interpretation for your dream other than to say your soulish/fleshly desires are coming up to the surface. Also, there is such a thing as an incubus and succubus spirit that can show up in our dreams, and be disguised as people we know/familiar with. These spirits are sexual in nature and can cause us to sin (tied to sexual fantasies and masturbation). Do your research on these spirits, as the story is fascinating. I would suggest your covering yourself in prayer before bed.
