I was part of some sort of game show on a beach. I just knew. Can’t remember cameras, or a host. I started to dig, most likely with my hands, which went very easy. The hole I dug was shallow. No more than 2ft deep I think. I found two binoculars of which one certainly wasn’t packed in anything. One of them was still half buried in the yellow beach sand. That one was black for sure. The other one likely too.

The other one wasn’t buried anymore; I can’t remember digging it up, but I must have because it was like digging up a pirate* treasure in a movie for kids.

*= The binoculars where the type with two lenses, not the one lens pirate type.

I also found something wrapped in black plastic. All things made of paper were in it. Maybe more, but I simply don’t remember. An envelope with a stamp on it. The year on the stamp was 90% sure ’69. 10% sure ’61. My first impression was it was a pre-stamped return envelope. Not so sure anymore because the stamp was possibly stamped. There was another paper in the black plastic wrapping. A letter, or a form. There was a date on it to but I couldn’t read that one. It started with a 6. A treasure map. A separate good luck note/card, or just good luck at the end of the letter. While I didn’t read the letter/form I thought “That’s almost as old as I am. I wonder the people who wrote it are still alive/will respond.” I had the feeling if I would return the letter/form I would get some sort of price.
