I had a dream where I was with a guy who used to be my colleague. We’ve since become friends and still communicate almost every week.
In the dream, the two of us were traveling to another province to attend a church service. The journey was about five hours from where we live. As we were preparing to go, someone from a bank approached us and said we needed permission from the bank in order to proceed — otherwise, we wouldn’t be allowed to go.
Naturally, because it was a bank, I assumed it had something to do with money. But the woman wasn’t referring to money at all — and I couldn’t quite understand what she meant. She then spoke to someone who appeared to be a manager or someone in authority at the bank, and he gave us permission to continue the journey.
That’s where the dream ended.

Seems odd that a bank would need to give you permission to proceed, in this case, to a church service. Not even the right person.I would say be careful with certain authority, or in a position of authority but not your supervisor ,maybe related to your job, trying to give you directives. Or someone trying to put themselves in an “authoritative role or position” and give you directives or instructions because he/she thinks he/she can. Example, someone in another department in another area of expertise, trying to tell you how to do your assignment or tasks (unrelated) in another area they know nothing about.
