GuestMy husbands dream
We entered a jewelry shop, we wanted to buy jewelry. But a conveyor belt was putting all the jewelry away. We were sitting around a green booth. The shop owner, a Jewish man, told my husband that we could come back later for jewelry, but for now he would give him a lamb and he would tell my husband how to cook it, he also told my husband to repeat the instructions on how to cook the lamb. -

GuestThis is a beautiful dream rich with symbols. Here are some that spoke to me right away.
Please take this to the Lord prayer
Please consider date you had this dream and what you’re experiencing in your life right now for contextSymbolism:
Entering store: options, freedom to choose to buy or leave with nothing
Jewelry: worldly riches, status, temporary wealth
Lamb: lamb of God, Sacrifice, forgiveness, atonement, purity
Jew shop owner: Jesus ( Rabbi)
Green: growth, prosperity, forward movement
Booth: mentioned in the Bible many times for various contexts, tax booth, covering in wilderness, protective barrier or enclosure. It can also imply a form of natural covering or shelter, emphasizing the idea of protection and concealment.
ALSO festival of booths, Tishrei, new beginningGiven the connection to Jew, it may be helpful to look up the root words of the symbolism in the Hebrew text if you want to do a deep dive. The Bible hub app is very useful for looking up root words
Simple interpretation: Has God recently brought you out of a long period of wilderness in your life ? Maybe you’re feeling ready to celebrate by buying things that are pleasing. In the Nehemiah 8:13 it discusses the festival of booths
“Go out to the mountain, and bring olive branches, branches of oil trees, myrtle branches, palm branches, and branches of leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”
The green symbolizes the gathering and the booths were temporary shelters. They made these shelters on top of their brand new houses just built but God wanted them to camp on top in these temporary shelters ( get jewelry later) to remember how he delivered from Egypt.
Lamb: During the ancient Feast of Tabernacles, a significant number of animals, including lambs, were sacrificed as burnt offerings, symbolizing dedication to God and acknowledging His provision, with the festival itself foreshadowing the messiah ( Jewish shop owner)
Advanced Interpretation:
This dream reminded me of Abraham sacrificing Isaac by offering of his only son. Something that was so precious to him. You went to obtain jewels but they were being pulled back/moving away from. Or a conveyer belt is also on a loop that keeps going
Side note: I was at the grocery store yesterday and I was trying to get my food and move it off and the belt kept moving the items out of reach every time when I asked the clerk if she can stop that and turn if it she said no. Point = I kept reaching for it and the goal post kept moving.Jesus is the Lamb of God sacrificed by God pure and more precious than rubies or gold.
The Lord says seek first the kingdom of heaven and all things will be added to you. “Come back later for jewelry”It made me think of in John 4:14 how Jesus invitation to drink from His well and we will never thirst again.
and gave you a lamb. The gift of salvation is free and the word of god is our instruction( how to cook it is a recipe which tells you what to do aka the Bible)I see this as an invitation to trust God. Also a call to purity, we can not buy salvation. Jesus offered himself up as a lamb a sacrificial giving that cost us nothing! You didn’t have to spend money instead you were given a gift.
Jesus is showing you how to prepare yourself. My mind went to Abraham sacrificing Isaac which is a depiction of The Fathers sacrifice of his son for Humanity
. I want to ask are you and your husband saved and baptized?Mazal Tov= is a good tiding message used in celebratory events.. In this context the man seemed to be encouraging/ wishing you well. Symbolizes that you will have success in this assignment if you trust in the Lord and accept what he is offering.
I don’t know where you are in your walk with Christ both interpretations offer the same meaning but at different stages of your walk with Christ. God bless
