I dreamt a couple nights ago about Nicole and her group housecleaning for me. Then I dreamt last night about how my Mother-in-law and I were arguing back and forth about how she only believes in Catholicism and I was backing up only the New King James Bible. It was an intense argument.

In real life this is true in that she is a very devoted Catholic and does no believe in any other denomination to be true. This has been difficult for me over the years in our relationship with each other. She would always talk about a lot of superstitions such as putting a specific saint statute in your yard to help try to sell your house. It would bother me, but what could I say to my mother in-law other than to nod my head without us getting in a confrontation. This has taken a toll on me over the years and at this point I just try to avoid the conversation over religion all together. Maybe I’ve built up some sort of resentment towards her through all of it because she has tried to control how we serve God earlier on in my husband and I’s marriage and what church we should go to and how to raise our children in the Catholic Church.

I woke up very upset, but in a way relieved that I’m kind of “throwing this up from soul.” I don’t want wrong opinions on topics ruin my relationship. I just need to pray about it continuously.
